We used White Glove after a recommendation from our realtor. The broker was very nice and seemed to do a good job. Unfortunately this company uses National Van Lines to move our furnishings. They did not keep their end of the contract. We used them for a long distance move from S. Florida to N. Georgia. It was a nightmare. We were asked if we’d like them to come a day ahead of pickup for prep. We thought they would be wrapping furniture with pads to save time on moving day. Hah! They boxed up all our lamps and shades(crushing several). We found out later that this is «custom packing» and we were charged almost $ 1700! All items from 2 houses were to be loaded on the truck in one day and all were to be delivered on one day within a week. The driver picked up another load and didn’t notice that we had 2 households, so half of the items and furniture were not taken. They expected my husband to stay and wait another day, but he needed to get on the road. After several more hours, a smaller truck was sent to pick up the rest of the stuff, but they didn’t have ramp, so a couple more hours went by before all was loaded up. What a mess. The goods were put into storage and it was another 2 weeks before they were delivered. Many items were broken or scratched up. Of course there really is no way to collect on the damages. We just received another bill from them with and extra $ 135 due. They should be paying us for the mess and breach of contract.

The entire team at White Glove Moving and Storage exceeded my expectations and provided a wonderful experience during my recent move from an elevator building(7th floor) to my new home. The job was done in a concise and timely fashion and the team worked together very smoothly. Every single item was handled with the utmost care. My boxes and furnishings were placed in the rooms and areas where they belonged which made unpacking a snap. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend the fine folks at White Glove!

We spent thousands of dollars storing our furniture and artwork while our home was being remodeled. They smashed a piece of artwork that was previously well packaged. Obviously they either dropped it from a high place or ran over it. Our furniture was scratched and dirty. They offered to pay for the ceramic art piece by the pound ! Something like 10 cents per pound. They also delivered some items to our house that belonged to someone else. When we spoke with them they basically didn’t care thought they did say our items were improperly packaged for storing… sorry about that ! Basically they suck and I would never use them again.

There was some good but mostly bad. We moved about 20 miles north. They showed up about 30 minutes late which I didn’t really care about. They seemed like they worked very hard and tried to do it in a timely manner. We had a 3 bedroom house and had some really nice furniture. I supervised the loading of the truck, and it looked like they were doing awesome and I was very happy. I stayed behind while they went to the new location so I could clean up. and boy was I wrong to stay behind. After they finished and the next day when I had started to move my furniture in place is when the horror hit. My beautiful desk leg was all but smashed from either being dragged or dropped from the truck. three of the legs are ok but the 4th was ruined. Really was sad as I loved that desk. then we went to move the couch, and the couch probably cost us 3,500 — 4,000. Again, the back leg was smashed and wobbled— it literally looked like they dragged the couch. It was a camel back couch and you can tell where it was dragged across the ground on the top too!!. Almost all the wood on the top was damaged. I then saw the hole in the wall from where they bumped another piece of furniture. Then we opened the boxes… most arrived safe but it seemed the important ones were broken. I ended up just throwing the furniture out except for the desk which I will have repaired. I don’t think they were bad guys. I just think they have to realize these are people possessions that mean a lot to them. They need to think or pretend that these things they are moving needs to be taken care of just as if it were their own. I don’t expect anything out of this. Just a reminder to people to watch close and stay close while they move your stuff. p.s — the price was right — but it did end up by coming at a cost.

I used the folks at White Glove to move my some delicate furniture and equipment from Florida to Boston and I have to commend the guys(and gals) that I worked with! They packed everything up in Florida, got it to Boston super fast, brought everything into the house, unpacked and helped me get it all set up. They hauled away all of the packing materials as well as a couple of things that we from appliances I bought. Seriously, there weren’t even any fingerprints on anything! These guys were professional, super friendly and were really good advisers. I would recommend them to anyone needing a truly professional team of movers.
