Despite what others think this place by far was the cleanest and the workers understand what you wanted and spoke English.

I was super excited to get Gel Lacquer polish for the first time, so I called to be certain they had it, and double checked that that’s what my appt. was for + a mani. When I got there, the woman’s 11 yr old daughter was the only one there and told me her mom would just be a few minutes– she was running errands. A half hour later than my appt., she showed up, and started sanding my nails, then applied tips. I asked her why I was getting tips, since my nails are long, strong and healthy. She said it goes on smoother. Then she started to file the tips down to jagged edges, and my fingertips started to bleed, because she was so rough. So then she started putting this thick goo on them, and I asked when the color was going on, she said after this. I asked for oval, she wouldn’t do it and cut them square(which I despise). Then, after about an hour, she said«go wash your hands, you’re done.» I asked about the mani, she said she couldn’t do it. I asked about color, she said that comes later. I asked about the gel lacquer and she said this is how we do it. I was confused, and she was rushing to get me out, since she had more errands to run. I left, and called another salon to ask if this was right– they informed me that what just happened was that I got acrylic tips, not gel lacquer(or the mani that I needed). My fingertips were BURNING for the next couple hours, so I called her cell. She told me that was normal and to rinse in cold water. Well, after some more calling around, turns out I had an allergic reaction to something in the process, and I called her to say I wanted them off, and that they were not what I had asked for. She refused to do it. So since no one else had openings, I went to Sally’s, bought pure acetone, and had so soak my burning fingers in freaking acid for four hours trying to get the tips off(Sally’s had told me it should take an hour, so I don’t know what went wrong). Now my nails are bumpy(I couldn’t get it all off), thin from sanding and so short I have no white left. PLUS, my cuticles are still dry and shredded, since I didn’t get the mani; now I can’t because I have to let my skin heal from this mess. My entire afternoon and evening was wasted on this stupid appointment. 2 hours at the salon, an hour and a half or so of running about getting acetone and trying to stop the pain, then four hours of sitting on the couch, trying to painfully chip off the centimeter thick acrylic from my nails.
