We come back here for the vegan soft serve ice cream. We’re Hooked. My favorite is the PB&J. But all are exceptional and generous in size.(Even the carnivores have praised the ice cream!)

Great wraps and burgers. Nice kale sides. Their tortilla chips are fresh and tasty. The vegan soft serve is to DIEFOR! I had the peanut butter one and my sis had the cookie monster one. OMG. The service was a bit slow but the staff friendly and helpful.

I ordered a smoothie(literally says it on the board) and was given some really strange smoothie/juice crossbreed. Super bummed because I was really craving a smoothie on my lunch break and decided to try this place out. Reeked of burnt toast and was super dirty. I juice at home mostly on the weekends with a shitty $ 40 juicer and I’ve never had a problem with pulp. Every sip out of this drink feels like I’m choking on sand. dear lord. Such a disappointment.

Ordered the quesadilla for my son and the apple pie waffles. I could have made a better vegan quesadilla at home, honestly. The waffles were frozen, just heated up with a side of cut up apples dusted with cinnamon. I mean, c’mon really? Very underwhelming. The ice cream machine is broken, the kid that took our order had the enthusiasm of a wet mop and we waited 45mins for waffles and a quesadilla. WEWERETHEONLYONESINTHERESTERAUNT! Also, it’s very dirty. Please sweep, spray down the tables. Do something. So disappointed, I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business.

Place has amazing food can’t deny that at all. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed a lot of the menu items. Definitely have to try breakfast here one day. Only thing that lacked about this place was that their servicing for customers and getting everyone’s food down packed was extremely tough for them. It took 30+ minutes to receive our order and the people who ordered in front of me waited even longer. Honestly speaking they just have to co-ordinate better or hire a manager to make sure things run smoothly and not ask every customer if they bought a MexiCalli sandwich 3 times over and over. Chef actually had to come and situate everything which is why things were getting back up. Anyway, other that that the food here is great! Just expect a longer wait than normal sometimes. I hear if the owner is there then things are a bit different, guess I’ll just have to come when the owner is there one day to improve my experience, which I am pretty sure I will. If they need some experienced veterans in the food community, my friend and I are pretty sure we can help. Great atmosphere and I absolutely love experience of the store. Food review 5⁄5 Customer service 2⁄5

Their soft serve machine was down, so I was not able to have vegan ice cream. The«Big Mac» burger was just meh in taste, however the size and effort are much appreciated. The black bean burger really is just black beans cooked and mashed into patties: it does not resemble the texture, taste, or effort of other veggie patties. It comes with a kale salad or tortilla chips. I tried them both. I recommend: 1. Using the jalapeño sauce that comes with the tortilla chips as a dressing for the kale salad. 2. Bring sanitation wipes to wipe down your table and seating. Poor janitorial attention seems to be par-for-the-course at vegan small businesses. If I’m ever in the neighborhood, I may stop in to try the waffles. Otherwise, nothing left me dying to get back soon.

I am not vegan but Wow! Who knew vegan food was so good? I had the mexicali on a bed of lettuce, because I was told the bun contain nuts. It was so tasty I had to Unilocal it. The service was friendly too, there’s free wifi, parking out back, and it seemed like a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. I’m a fan!

I’m really into vegan food, so I wanted to try this place out again. I got the Burning Man wrap which was really good. Loved the 90s music playing in the background. The girls screaming along to it at 3 in the afternoon was a little strange but didn’t take away from me scarfing down that delicious wrap.

Very welcoming vibe. One thing that I disliked was calling Positivtea and them placing me on hold for over 7 mins before I finally hung up. I ended up coming anyway and enjoyed my food. The service from the employees was very polite. I LOVE that they have soft serve vegan ice cream and I like the fact that you can still order their breakfast items in the evening. I will definitely be back to try more items. I had the Garden Vegan Wrap. The main filled was mashed chickpeas with a side of kaleslaw. This place was pretty packed when we got in and it’s very small, there weren’t any available tables.

Went here for lunch with a friend who is vegan, I am not but I do enjoy vegan food. This however was not good. Bad service at the cashier and the food was not at all impressive. I ordered a wrap with a chickpea patty and it was a mess, it was like getting mashed potatoes in a tortilla wrap with some veggies. My friend was also left very unimpressed by the food and service. We won’t be coming back.

Yummy food, great flavor, definitely not bland. Laid back atmosphere & awesome service… particularly when one is indecisive on what to get. A little pricey, but that comes with the territory. Will be back & with friends.

I’ve eaten here a few times. This place gets«props» for the shear fact that they are vegan. The«big bean burger» for $ 12 is pretty filling. It comes with Kale salad which is nice. The service is hit or miss. First time I was here, the guy behind the counter was super energetic and helpful. This last visit, the counter girl had no personality. When I asked what the soup of the day was,(because the menu said«soup of the day») she just said we don’t have soup today. No apology, no explanation. Just«no soup today.» It bugged me because I was disappointed and she didn’t seem to care. When I asked if she could recommend a good side dish, she pointed to the menu on th wall… Way to sell it.

Mixed feelings! 1) Food is excellent, but takes too long. 2) Ambiance is great, but service is horrible. 3) Price is too high, as mentioned, tasty food.

Getting full at this place feels good because you’re like«Wow, I feel good about myself because everything I just had was healthy». New year new me 2016, am I right? So my friends and I decided to go to Positivitea for dinner after I helped them pack up some things in their apartment since they’re moving out. They suggested this place because they’ve been here before and mentioned«veggie burger» and I recently have been eating like crap so I thought«I want to feel good about myself, why not?» So we walk in and there’s this kinda calming vibe about the place. The help and servers are all very nice. Everything was organic and holistic. There were these two cute egg chairs in the corner. Free alkaline water. Not bad for my taste. I ordered the Mediterranean Burger which was a black bean burger on a multi-oat bread with lettuce, cucumbers, Tahini sauce, spicy chili sauce, onions and pickles served with some tortilla chips with the house vegan mayo on it. Biting into it, my mouth experienced a whirlwind of flavors. Spice, savory, a fresh crunch, etc. All things I looked for in a burger. I looked at the menu and there was a selection of teas, desserts, wraps and smoothies that I definitely want to try next time. And for the price of it all, Positivitea is definitely somewhere I’m gonna be checking out again.

Great vegan café in downtown Verona. I came for lunch on Saturday and it was a sunny, autumn afternoon. I placed my order at the counter, and took a seat. First impression, when you imagine a vegan café, what do you think it looks like? I was expecting something cleaner or more modern looking. Even hipster would’ve been better. It was very casual, dark colored walls, mismatched colors in furniture, and the place seemed pretty dark and a little dirty. From the pictures, I thought the place would be really well lit and bright. The place just felt kinda off. I ordered a Mexicali burger and the cookie munster sundae along with the serendipitea. The tea was good, typical Teavana herbal blend taste. The Mexicali burger was amazing. I did not care that this burger had no meat, because it was delicious. The black bean patty had good texture and flavor, and the toppings were fresh. The avocado, jalapenos, and spicy miso spread gave me plenty of flavor. I have a weakness for soft serve ice cream. Vegan soft serve didn’t seem like it’d be awesome. But we ordered the cookie munster sundae anyway. My friend said she only wanted to taste it, but it was so good, she ended up taking it from me. Weak point to this place is the décor. The somewhat limited menu, which only really has waffles, wraps, and burgers will also probably keep me away from this place at dinner. update** 1÷16÷2015 They redid the interior. The furniture was reupholstered and actually matches now, so it’s pretty cozy.

So expensive for your serving, bad service, slow waiters, dirty… the only plus about the whole place is the food– it’s pretty good. The people aren’t conscience of what they touch while they are wearing gloves. One pair of gloves touched money as well as food. Hopefully you like taking a bite out of George Washington because he’s all over the food. Another flaw about the place is the ordering wait. I am so annoyed: we order our food; we get 3 out of 8 things we paid for. Then the waiter/cashier told us we’d get our other order of quesadillas right after. Well, it took about 10 minutes for us to get the other order. We order two sides of avocado, $ 2 dollars each and get then about 8 minutes after we got our other order of quesadillas. So a two dollar side of avocado is 4 slim pieces of avocado that my sister chugged down in 30 seconds and asked where the rest of the avocado was… Thankfully the $ 6 smoothie we ordered held her off. I’m not sure if the employee waiter guy serving us was aware that we also paid for two sides of fruit that came with the kids’ meals after we got two kids’ meals of quesadillas that came with the side of fruit because he seemed very frazzled with everyone else’s meals and drinks that we were forgotten– or he was just clueless and laggy. Having to go up to the counter to confirm that when buying a kids meal we get fruit sides we ordered a side fruit of blueberries and for the second meal apples. No joke– 15 mins later he gives us the sides and they screw up the order: blueberries and bananas. And to top it all of the bananas were bruised and we couldn’t eat a third of them. I wish this place get there act together and cleans the place up, — because it is dirty with dirt. It seems that they forgot to sweep at all that week. Try it out and see for yourself if you want and hope your not a forgotten customer that comes with his family of five and orders $ 60 of overpriced vegan foods that comes with horrendous service and pathetic employees. I hope for the best if you try it out!

One word… WOW! Such a great concept and the food was delicious. A little pricey but that’s because the food is actually good for you and you definitely get what you pay for. The black bean burger looked like a Big Mac, but was 10x better. So much flavor, and you don’t leave hungry. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.
