My fiancé and I went out for dinner last night and decided on Red Lobster. I work at another chain on the parkway so I know how serving for corporate goes. We had a great time thanks to our server, Erica. She was super sweet, quick with drinks and bread(because honestly you can’t get enough). Our food came out quick and hot. First time I tried the Caesar salad and I loved it. Perfect amount of dressing. My fiancé had the New England clam chowder but other than it being somewhat thin it tasted great. Of course everything is soaked in butter and salt but honestly, this is a chain restaurant and what isn’t anymore? It was a nice indulgence. Btw my fiancé’s top shelf Long Island was delicious. His only complaint was it was a bit dark(I told him — mood lighting). Thanks for a great night!

This is your standard Red Lobster. So the food and drinks are the same as elsewhere-nothing I really noticed being different from any other one. The food quality is a ¾ star depending in the items. The staff here were incredibly friendly. Our waitress provided us a free dessert because she felt she had been inattentive in the beginning-I didn’t feel that way but okay. It was very sweet. The establishment was clean, both inside and the parking lot. The only issue I had here was the dreariness of the place due to either the lighting or color of the furniture or both. The place is darker inside then whats comfortable or appetizing. There are only a few windows, the lighting is low/sparse, and the furniture is dark. It leaves me in a weird mood, and will sting your eyes upon leaving.

Overall great experience. Our server Sara was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Only reason why 4 stars because it’s a chain restaurant. Our meal consisted of lobster pizza as an appetizer taste was okay lobster was a little rubbery but overall fine. I had fish tacos as an entrée it was delicious the side of rice was a little tough.

I typically prefer stand-alone eateries rather than chain restaurants because while the prices are predictable, the service and quality are not; however, on the rare occasion that I do visit one, experiences like the one I had at Red Lobster on Vestal Parkway make me reconsider my opinion. The location is easy to get to, and has plenty of parking spaces that even accommodate the busiest of early dinner rushes on a late Sunday afternoon. My party and I didn’t make reservations, but only had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated. All of the staff we encountered was both pleasant and professional, but our server, Becca, demonstrated some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in any restaurant. In addition to maintaining a big smile as well as her composure from start to finish despite the steady influx of diners, she was extremely attentive as well as engaging. She knew the menu from cover to cover, and if we asked a question about something that wasn’t clearly outlined on the menu, rather than just giving a dismissive response like, «I don’t think we can do that», she informed us that she was new and if we didn’t mind waiting, she preferred to ask the manager rather than give us the wrong answer. She remembered all of our orders, substitutions, and even the items that we requested to be boxed to take home rather than plated. The food was good, presented nicely, and came out hot, but even if it had lacked slightly in any one area, Becca’s impeccable customer service and attention to even minor details more than makes up for it.

I came in with my parents and niece for dinner Saturday night. I’ve been here once before but it was ages ago. We were promptly seated and greeted immediately by our server, Amy. She was courteous, attentive, and engaging all evening. I had the 4 course meal with the new England clam chowder, which for my personal preferences I thought was too thin. Chowder should be thicker, more hearty. The flavor was there though. I had the Caesar salad which was dressed perfectly. Just the right amount of dressing, and lots of croutons. I had the Cajun chicken Alfredo for my entreé and it was very good. Creamy and seasoned to perfection. The dish is heavy so I barely ate half, which was fine because it was brunch the next morning. And of course the biscuits need no discussion. We all know they’re the reason people crave Red Lobster. And on top of all of that, my meal came with dessert. Of course I opted for the caramel cheesecake because everyone knows there’s always room for cheesecake!

Extremely noisey environment Service was slow, 10 minutes to get a drink and another 3 minutes for the straw. Needs a major overhaul on the seating and layout. Food flavor was. 6 out of 10. Won’t be returning

So, this is a chain. If you are familiar with the chain’s food offerings there is nothing there to tell you about. The service, however, at this location is superior. I eat here at least once a year, and often twice. If you have sometime, and a designated driver, the bar is pretty amazing as well!

Wow. I really really have to wonder how this place can get anything more than 1 star. If your criteria for a good meal includes such factors as being served food and not being hungry after 10 minutes either through fat and sodium induced satiety, or nausea, then voila! This place is tops!

You know the food is not only excellent but I had the experience of an item under cooked one time. Management not only hurried to bring out the right food but picked up our tab. This place is the real deal.

This was my first encounter with red lobster and it couldn’t have been any better! Except for the fact that our waiter was trying to land a huge tip with the table next to our booth. So, it was weird because he wasn’t into make conversation with us, but with the large party of 6+ he was sweet talking his way with them. I guess it makes sense, since we’re college kids just trying to get a meal at the lowest price possible. But it would be nice if we were appreciated like everyone else! I ordered the coconut shrimp platter, DELICIOUS. I absolutely adored it because coconut is the bom diggidy and you can’t go wrong with shrimp. I can’t recall what my friends ordered but it looked good as well. The best part of the night, THEBISCUITSWEREDELICIOUS. ASLONGASTHEBISCUITSAREGOOD, you know that the food can’t go wrong! This place cemented all the ideas I had about red lobster.

The only one of its kind here. Crowded on Thursday nights for some reason. Check for specials when seated like ‘All you can eat __.’ Be looking for coupons in Sunday Paper. Great size portions, excellent service, sincere atmosphere, terrific alcohol, this says it all.

My parents love this place. So when they visit, we visit the Red Lobster. Wait staff has always been nice. The prices are pretty good considering seafood. The seafood itself is fresh, as is all that we have ever ordered. HOWEVER~beware of the melted butter!!! It can be overwhelming UNLESS you specify you are not into the slippery fat… as we are not. Ask and the shall honor. A nice selection of alcohol is available at the dinner table for the ordering, as is a very clean bar to hand out at in case u need a short break from the company ur holding. Bathrooms are clean, décor is not«in ur face» either. I’ve been to restaurants in Maine where the fake plastic lobsters and crabs are diving into tables and chairs!!!

I cannot believe this place continues to stay open! I appreciate a good chain restaurant as much as the next person, but this Red Lobster in particular needs serious help. I got a «trio» of fish and shellfish, all of which was drenched in the same oily butter sauce. The shrimp were very shrimpy, and the scallops were hardended mini marshmallows. It was a regretful experience, with the highlight of the night being the cheesy biscuits at the beginning of the meal. I will say though, at the end of the dinner, a kind waiter came over and asked if we wanted to take some of them home, and I, of course, said yes(considering I was starving from NOT eating all my food) and he handed us 3 bags stuffed with cheesy biscuits.

I think this is the best place for seafood in the area. Everything is always super fresh. The cheddar cheese biscuits are probably the best bread-side anywhere. My kids like the cajun chicken alfredo and I usually head for the scampi or fried shrimp though the coconut bites are great too. I’m not a drinker but the bar fare seems ample. It’d be nice if they took reservations as we’ve had to wait a long time on several occasions. Always worth the trip.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a Red Lobster and I was impressed with how much they have improved. First off, the biscuits are delicious and hard to ignore if you are trying to keep your appetite for din-din. There are virtually a dozen different shrimp dishes, coconut shrimp was tasty. Crab cakes were good too. The atmosphere was warm yet not scrubby, generic or chain-restaurant like, I’d definitely go back. Bring the parents, they’d love it…
