Very cool Country Store on the way to Crabtree Falls in Montebello Va. This Country Store offers everything from souvenirs to games to supplies needed for a day out in the Forest. The store also has its own Catch and Keep Fishing Pond across the road, as well as a much needed gas station in this area. Overall a really cool place to check out while in the Montebello Va area.

5 stars means this is the best campground store I’ve been in. Drinks, food, all the things you forgot… plates.utensils.bug spray… but they also have a nice selection of cookware and grills. hiking sticks.hammocks…blankets.doormats…lots of great stuff with prices that are pretty good and like the other reviewer stated there is a big pot of chili in the nicest comfy little room. So cute.

The staff is super friendly and offered directions around the area(we thought our phones would work… that joke was on us). They had items we couldn’t find at our campsites store and offer some cute country shopping items. We didn’t have time to eat here but their menu looked great. Can’t wait to try the chili on our next visit.

Chili! Tired of hiking up and down Crabtree Falls and need a place to help you gain those calories back that you left somewhere in the woods? Well, this is the place for you. This is one of our favorite stops after a trip to the falls. They usually have a couple of pots of chili and soup on hand for the weary travelers, but it goes fast. The chili is usually fresh, not too spicy, but full of goodness. They offer two sizes. A small bowl will run you about $ 2.50 and the large around $ 4 I think. This is also a great little country store where you can get basic camping necessities, snacks and sit out on the porch to relax while enjoying your hot, refreshing, filling bowl of simmering sustenance. If you are not completely worn out yet… you can also grab some fishing gear and head across the street to the trout pond to catch your dinner. You’ll have to cook that yourself though. I’ll stick to the chili.
