Best Western Plus Victor Inn & Suites

Would definitely recommend this to a friend! Feels like a four star hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, big rooms, ok breakfast, free cookies & ice water. We loved the location… right next to a gas station, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s. Very close to a really nice mall and other shopping. Close to lds church history sites.

Nothing wrong with this place. Relatively new, well lit parking lot, good, clean rooms. Breakfast is about as good as you can expect from a hotel in this price range. Nothing fancy.

This hotel is in a good location if you would like to shop in the Eastview Mall area, or go out to some of the decent restaurants there.
We stayed here for two nights over November and had a terrible time. Upon arriving, the intense dude checking us in made us sign an agreement to be quiet after 10:00pm. I thought that was great, but it did not work, the halls were littered with partiers and kids running back and forth. This is shocking as were on the first floor with the front desk only being a minute walk down the hall, though not once did I see anyone from the front desk quiet things down.
The room was a good size and had a nice tall ceiling. However, the television in the room was small and it literally took a few seconds to scroll through each channel, this was so frustrating. Half of the channels never worked and even though it was listed in the hotel guide, there was no HBO. Also, all channels were standard definition (not HD) appearing washed out on the old TV.
The business center had very old Windows XP PCs in it and they didn’t work properly.
The breakfast was decent, though the lady putting out the scrambled eggs by emptying a steamy plastic bag that was microwaved into the platter was pretty gross. Bagels and other bread items were a bit too dry,
Upon hearing about some of our issues, the General Manager indicated he would contact us to discuss, but after a month, we still have not heard a word from him. All in all, we really felt this hotel should be rated much lower than what it is presently listed at on the various travel websites, given the poor quality in-​room TVs, business centre, and lack of attention to people roaming the halls late at night. We will not be returning.

Very Impressed
Just returned from holiday May 2014 where my wife & I stayed at 8 different Best Western accommodations. Here’s how your establishment compared to the others. By far this Best Western Plus Victor Inn & Suites was my #1 pick on this trip. My wife & I found this to be comparable to the Best Westerns in British Columbia. (Higher Quality) It was very convenient to I90 with plenty of restaurants nearby. We were on our way to Watkins Glen so staying here made for a short morning drive before arriving, plus we save some dollars over the more expensive area. The beds were quite comfortable as I sleep very well. The amenities ticked all the boxes, you know refer, microwave, coffee pot. This was a newer property so the condition was good & all the finishes were on the high in. Parking was plentiful & it was safe & secure. The hot breakfast better than most, Let’s just say I didn’t leave hungry. The staff & accommodations were superb which left me wanting to stay longer. Well done BW.
