I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. This is a warm and welcoming place. I had the chicken tikka masala and it is excellent. Definitely a place I will return to and recommend highly.

This is a quaint place around Jackson for Nepali inspired Indian food. They have great momos(that are Nepali version of dumplings) and the regular nan, panner tikka, chicken tikka, sag paneer that is loved as Indian food. Have tosay though that the food is mild spiced and very flavorful and freshly prepared. They do serve local craft beer too. The owners and service is very friendly and they sell some hand made goods made in Nepal.

The food was excellent. The service was, at best, awkward. We found the prices a bit high fire the amount of food served. Samosas: beautifully cooked with a perfect traditional moist filling and crunchy shell, served with a flavorful green chutney. Chicken Tikka Masala: one of the best I’ve ever had. Tasted like authentic made-by-grandma Indian food, with perfectly congress Jasmine rice. Chicken MoMos: cooked perfectly, not too oily, with a deliciously seasoned filling. The chutney that came with was a little bland for my taste, and would have paired perfectly with the one served with the samosas. Gulab Jamun: delicious, though weren’t warn all the way through. Service: we had to ask if we should seat ourselves, and the gent that first interacted with us didn’t introduce himself or offer us drinks, though he was pouring water. We didn’t get any getting from him at all. He was a bit unsure of how to place food and dining ware on the table, and wasn’t able to answer questions about the menu with confidence.

Anytime I see a restaurant claim to be Himalayan/Nepalese, I have to eat there! This place did not disappoint — the food was phenomenal! I’ve eaten at ton of Indian restaurants across the world, and what sets Everest Momo Shack apart is their unique flavor — rich, warm, complex and mouthwatering, all without being the least bit greasy! You can tell that the chef truly loves his cuisine, and has taken great care and effort to replicate the flavors of his home. We had a huge meal and I left feeling comfortably full, like I still wanted to go on a hike and do something fun with my day, not like I needed to roll into bed and fall into a food coma. I highly recommend: — the bison momos(shockingly good) — the chicken tikka masala(the best I’ve ever had) — the saag panner(huge chunks of cheese) The food was fresh, the flavors were addicting, and the service was attentive and fast. Even the bathrooms were huge and impeccably clean. If you’re near Victor and feeling like a change of pace from all the burgers and grilled food, try Everest Momo Shack! You will make a food memory you’ll remember for a lifetime. I have no idea why this restaurant is tucked away in a remote corner of the Tetons, I’m just glad I’ve found it! I’m already dreaming about the next time I can go back to order more items off their menu. FIVESTARS.

We had the bison momo, chicken tikka misala, saag paneer, garlic naan, and chicken chow mein for the kids. Everything came out quickly and all at once, and we made short work of cleaning each and every plate. First off, the bison momo are legit. They’re similar to Chinese jiaozi, but the dumpling skin is a little thicker and the filling is more meaty. The dipping sauce added just a touch of heat, but I preferred the momo by itself. The curry dishes were phenomenal. Perfect balance of flavor and lightness. Both were very well seasoned and had good mix of sauce to filling(read: lots of chicken and lots of paneer). The garlic naan was of the thicker, breadier variety, and was hot and fresh. The chicken chow mein wasn’t anything to rave about, but it was well seasoned and the kids both ate it happily. Easy five star review, I just wish it was closer to home!(Or that I had more vacation days o spend in the valley)

Nepalese /Indian /delicious! Small restaurant with authentic flavors… And friendly service. We had Naan, steamed and fried Momo, the Chicken Tikka Masala, and Nepali Chow Mein. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back and maybe go for the Vindaloo or Saag Paneer.

The short version: DRIVEOUTOFYOURWAYTOEATTHEIRUNBELIEVABLYSIMPLEBUTDELICIOUSBISONMOMO. The longer version: After a day in the Tetons… driving back to my hotel in Idaho Falls, I cross the pass and roll into Victor and…*double take*…what do I see?!? A MOMOSHACK??? Say what?!? I’m from India and I’ve been to Nepal. I love me some momos. It was just so ridiculous to see this restaurant in rural Idaho that I just had to stop and eat dinner there. And I’m so glad I did. The owner’s son, Tee, took great care of me. We chatted like old buds. He convinced me not to bother with the chicken and have the bison. The momos arrived, eight on a plate with two sauces(that we would call chutneys in India — not to be confused with American chutneys) to dip them in. NIRVANAON A PLATE. You bite into the dumpling and be forewarned, they have a delectable juice inside that may come leaking out. YOUDONOTWANTTOWASTE A DROPOFIT. The meat is perfectly seasoned and truth be told dipping it in any sauce is just gilding the lily. And also know that if you ask for the chili sauce, it’s HOT… this coming from an Indian. But it is delicious and tastes like home!!! Tee said they import the spices and sauces from the home country. I believe him. It made me so nostalgic for the foods of my youth!

The best food in Wydaho especially if you’re looking for something unique. The tikka masala, curries and Momo’s are the best we’ve ever had and we travel quite a bit. Make this a stop on your trip!
