I came here today with my friend and both wished we went to highland diner instead. The food was very salty and just lacked flavor. It was quite cheap but I’d rather pay more to get better quality. Just no.

The ice cream cakes are amazing. We always buy them for my sons birthdays. The are tall and packed with lots of treats. The price is good for what you get. My boys love the ice cream here, especially after a baseball game. They have now added a food cart outside that sells burgers, fried, hot dogs etc. Just as an FYI they only accept cash so make sure you have enough. If you love ice cream this is the place to go.

Had to get something sweet. Chocolate milkshake it is! Well prepared and quick. The milkshake was super chocolatey and thick. $ 5 even, not bad at all.

Papa jack Ice cream is amazing!!! I always order a mint n chip shake. spectacular service and amazing ingredients. After my first shake I grew 10 inches taller. I was then hounded by the General manager for the New York Knicks to join the team. I kindly refused and explained that I am a Los Angeles laker fan. I highly recommend papa jacks!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Diner like feeling, with very stylish walls. The wall we sat against showed their alliterated burger list, which all seemed rather appetizing. I’ll surely come back for lunch after this experience. Service: acts professional with a few minor setbacks. Overall good performance… The menu is very interesting, with some options native to Rochester, and others that are traditional breakfast options. I just got the Two Two Two, which was two pancakes, two eggs, and two pieces of bacon. Delicious. By the way, everything here is incredibly cheap. Amazing pancakes. Eggs were so tasty and looked great. Their omelets were good. Great sandwiches, plus a low carb section. Overall great experience.

This is a cute little hometown icecream shop where half the town meets for laughter and catching up on summer evenings. Good sized portions and a wide selection of flavors.

Great place to get the diner food you want. This is a self made business with consistent quality and customer service. They have the best fish fry for the best price!

Fabulous place to take the family! We loved it… the list of burgers is amazing… and I can sub a veggie burger for any of them– WINWIN! Full burger flavor for the vegetarian! I love it! Load it up… They do the same for chicken sandwiches too! Tons of great specials… The pies were HUGE… my girls had to get a slice of chocolate cream and the devoured it! My kids can’t wait to go back and we only just left a few hours ago… totally delicious and extremely affordable– everyone leaves happy… How can you beat that? The Carnivores and the Veggie are all happy eaters tonight!

I will never understand how this restaurant gets a customer to come back a 2nd time. My boyfriend ordered a burger, and I ordered chicken fingers, because everything else on the menu looked pretty gross. We also ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They took a while to come out, and when they did, they were not heated all the way, and were very salty. They tasted like the ones you get at BJ’s or Sam’s club. My chicken fingers were SOGROSS. The breading peeled right off of them while they were just sitting on my plate. My boyfriend said his burger had a weird taste to it. It was a complete FAIL on all counts. They obviously just buy everything frozen in bulk and then just reheat it and call it a meal. That was $ 30 and an hour of my life we’ll never get back. We cringe every time we drive by now.

This is one of those restaurants where I like the place and the wife didn’t. To her credit, she’s been known to be picky from time to time, so little things like the kind of rye bread(and it’s freshness) can set her off. I enjoyed the casual ambiance, good service and my burger & fries. C’est le guerre! Perhaps I’ll be able to get her to give Papa Jack’s a second chance… time will tell!

Have eaten at both the restaurant and their IC place once. I had the«Swamp»(PB sauce and chunks of Reese’s PB cups) with vanilla, whipped cream and a cherry, my mom had a scoop of pistachio nut and a scoop of banana cream pie. Tasty, filling diet-busters to say the least!

We went to Papa Jack’s Grill for breakfast the friday after Thanksgiving. The place was busy that day as one would expect. No tables were available but we were the only ones waiting and a table opened within 5 minutes. We immediately got coffee(which only I found a little on the weak side) and placed our orders. I ordered a cheese omelette and a side of bacon, and the person with me ordered a short stack of pancakes. Our food arrived in about 5 minutes. The cheese omelette was good, cooked thin on a flat grill and folded over several times with American cheese melted both inside and on top. The side of bacon was good, four slices cooked until crispy, but a little pricey($ 2.50). My companion’s pancakes were good. They were hot enough to melt the butter spread on them, and were too large to fully finish. The service was excellent; although we didn’t need anything(creamers, ketchup etc. were all there) we had plenty of opportunities to ask since our waitress checked on us very often. Our check came to just under $ 14.00 for this meal. We would go back in the future.

This estbalishment has two stores, one restaurant that has food and dessert, then there is their ice-cream only store that is across the parking from the food restaurant. We have never been there, and it looked pretty busy with the food part of the restaurant as well as the ice-cream part of the restaurant. Thinking it was hopping with businsess the food must be good here. Unfortunately, I felt their kid’s mac n’ Cheese wasn’t very good, my 5 ½ year old daughter, loves mac n’ Cheese like none other. However she didn’t want to eat it after a few bites, because it tasted bad. I tried it and it felt like they didn’t put any love into their food. I had their NY strip steak dinner meal, it was featured as one of their specials under $ 10. And believe me you pay for what you get. They never asked me how i wanted the steak done, so i had it well done. And I just felt all the around the service and food was lacking. They had me to get up and grab crayons and coloring sheets for my kids. So I felt customer service was lacking. Perhaps, we didn’t order what they were best at, because didn’t know any better. Their Ice-cream store was fine, normal ice-cream nothing special. I wouldn’t eat there again, it was a waste of money.
