Okay how do I start, first there is no actual TRAIN STATION per say because there is no place in Victorville to purchase tickets. Second, refer back to number one.

Three old street lights and a sign, that’s it. First review was dead on, the Victorville Amtrack station is pure crap. No facilities at all are available to passengers. The parking lot is dirt. Nearby Greyhound station is open sometimes, but not at night when many trains arrive and depart.

Bandera, TX
This is probably the shittiest Amtrak station in California. No bathrooms (unless you choose to use the bushes, if you can find one). No covered shelter — bad if you get hit by a summer desert storm. No timetable, and no call box — better have your cell phone and an internet connection if you want to make sure your train is on time.
