The girl that runs the front and handles the phone orders is an angel. Very sweet and professional. We had a couple complications with our orders but she handled it perfectly. We continue to enjoy their food because of her polite manner. Thanks

Had a carne asada burrito it was delicious. It was loaded with meat and fresh Mexican cheese Yummy. I’ve had it twice and both times I was pleased.

Terrible. The first time was excellent. But this time it was watery. I also got the wings, also terrible and bunch of broken up wings, skin and fat.

Working up here so stopped by, had the hard shell chicken tacos, they where ok, nothing special, and the beans and rice was the same. Clean place, a lot of food though from mexican, to ribs and wings, will probably try something diff next time, but overall an ok place to eat, for being up the hill lol.

I stopped by tonight for my first visit here, due to the mostly favorable reviews I read about it. I wanted to semi-sample the menu, so I ordered some fried chicken with potato wedges, three different tacos(chicken, carne asada, and carnitas), and some ribs. In fairness, it was almost closing time, so the ribs weren’t fresh, but I could still tell the quality was there. It was«Taco Tuesday» so they were just $ 0.79 each! They were all delicious, but the chicken was the best one! Finally, the chicken and potato wedges… both had a great flavor, but the chicken could have lived a little longer… it was TINY! Like a teenage chick. Wings were about 1 ¼″ long… seriously! But, I will be back! A good experience overall, and I would recommend!

Stopped by last night(8÷27÷14) to see if this new place was any good. Well upon arrival(6:45) it was empty. My first thought was to exit but I decided against it and gave it a go. The place was clean. the service was good(keep in mind it’s just me). Ordered the 3 soft taco dinner(5.99).steak cooked fresh(awesome) the beans and rice were okay. I can’t provide a higher rating as of date. need to visit once more to give a true assessment.

I was really surprised! The food was actually pretty darn tasty. I got the 2-for-1 chicken tacos so I got 4 for $ 2. They are tiny so of you have a hardy appetite, order plenty! The chicken was actually marinated and grilled, which is a great surprise. I hate going to a Mexican style restaurant to find they boil the chicken. But not here! I also ordered a carne asada burrito for someone else. They enjoyed it a lot too. The food is a good value for the price. Only thing I didn’t like was the salsa. I’m a big salsa lover so their hot salsa was lackluster. That’s just my preference though. It should be good for most so don’t be deterred. I agree with another Unilocalers’ comment, the place is in a somewhat sketchy strip mall. But you can’t eat in so it’s a to-go type of place anyway. I say try it and you’ll probably go back. I know I will!

On my way home from Vegas, my friends, boyfriend and I got really hungry and we were in a mood for some good tacos. Instead of dropping by Taco Bell, we Unilocaled up a family shop nearby and that’s when we found Freddy’s. It is about a mile away from the 15 freeway and sorta in a middle of nowhere.(Im from LA… so this place is considered as isolated to me) This taco/burrito shop is located in a small plaza with limited shops. The inside is quite small with limited chairs and no tables, only a counter top. So, you can’t really eat here when there are a lot of people, unless you really don’t have anywhere else to go. It’s the perfect take out place actually. Since we were super hungry, we ordered: 1. 8 tacos(4 chicken and 4 beef): These tacos are super inexpensive. They are 2 for $ 1!!! I usually see places sell these tacos for $ 0.99 each. Not only that these tacos are cheap, they are delicious. The meats were juicy and well marinated. 2. Asada Burrito: The burrito is quite big for $ 4.99. The rice was not as dry as most places that I know. The chef is really generous with the meat portion. The salsa and the green sauce just made everything extra delicious. Flavors just exploded everywhere. 3. Carne Asada Fries: This portion can feed up to 4 people. The fries were super crunchy and well fried. The meat was filled to every inch of the togo box. The guacamole was deliciously sweet and fresh(even when it’s hot). The salsa was perfectly mixed. The extra green sauce that was given to us made everything better(always). $ 6.99 4. Ceviche Fish and a bag of chips: Ceviche is one of my favorite dishes. The to-go cup that was given to us was a huge cup. Imagine a cup of soup from Panera… its endless. The chips were more on the bland side. The ceviche fish was like a fiesta in your mouth. It may be in a sealed container, but everything still tasted fresh and yummy. $ 8 The total amount we spent was around $ 27 for 6 people. We were stuffed and we even had leftovers. Oh here is the big shock for you guys… we didn’t eat at the place. We drove back to LA(1.5 hours) so that we can watch Orange Is The New Black and eat and relax… and just in case we gotta use the bathroom after them beans… if you know what I mean(Poet.didn;t even know it). After 1.5 hours, the foods were still hot. I don’t know how they do it, their fries were still crunchy and the ceviche was still cold. They used foil wraps, but still! Magic! Overall. I highly recommend all you hung-over party people to come here for come delicious carbs!

Came here on grand opening day. Took advantage of the two for one tacos. The place had a bunch of people in the lobby. Food was taking a good minute to come out. I noticed there really wasn’t too much room for tables and chairs so it’s more of a take out spot. The tacos were ok. The meat was flavored well. The taco business is very saturated so if you want to beat out others you gotta come out swinging. The tacos were nothing that would bring me back. You have to be careful about going to this business because the shop is located in a very shady strip mall. There are many undesirable people that congregate outside this establishment. Smoking and selling dope. Drinking liquor etc. I mean the mall has a smoke shop, liquor store, chicken n ribs spot, barber shop. A strong magnet for troublemakers. Make sure to lock your car, grip your knife and walk swiftly to Freddy’s. I believe this place needs to tighten and sharpen up some. The cooks were jumping back n forth like chickens with their heads cut off. Seemed like they were not prepared. I’ll check this place out again at a later date and update. Definitely give the place a shot and kick down a real review. Let’s keep it reals y’all. Honest T. Kitters
