Hi Desert Tile & Stone

Once again we came back to Hi Desert Tile and Stone since they did such an awesome job on our shower. This time, it was for granite countertops and once again… AWESOME job!
Dealing with Ray is such a wonderful beginning when going with this business. He is so friendly and very accommodating. He even came by after work to take our measurements and give us an estimate. The guys that do the work, were incredible. They are so professional and friendly and do such a beautiful job that it was very hard for me to even find the «seam» where the 2 pieces meet… that tells you how good they are at what they do.
I have told every one of my friends about this place. I will continue to use them for any other job I have at my house.

I just had HI Desert Tile & Stone put in wood grain ceramic tile, They were AWESOME. Professional, great job, great employees. We are having them put in carpet next, I am hoping they are as good and will be reviewing their performance as well. You can NOT go wrong with these guys if you’re in need of tile. Good selection and very reasonably priced and professional personnel.

I’m a contractor and I use this Hi Desert Tile and Stone and they are awesome!!!

I’ve never dealt with such a vile company/​contractor in my life. These people reel you in with their kind demeanor, they get your money and then when you need them to fix issues that they guaranteed would be fixed, they don’t respond to your calls.
In September of 2015, Carlos and his team came out to my house and installed tile plus some laminate flooring. When his workers left, I found a 12 pack of Dos XX beer in my fridge that they left. Only two bottles were left inside the case. After finding the nearly empty case, I proceeded to inspect his team’s work with a very careful eye and noticed several issues. Carlos promised that he would fix the issues and apologized for his team’s actions.
A few days later, my wife noticed a pool of water collecting at the base of one of our toilets. I went into the bathroom and noticed black mold growing on the wall. I proceeded to call Carlos in the morning and ask that he correct the issue since his team installed the toilets after installing the flooring in the bathroom. He came out, removed the mold and «fixed» the leak. A few days passed and I noticed that the toilet was still leaking and that mold had returned!!! I called him again to let him know about my issue. He came out and told me that the toilet that I had purchased didn’t fit properly!!! He knew this from the beginning yet he still installed the toilet!!!
There are so many issues still left unfixed and it’s now December 1, 2015. It seems that as soon as Carlos got my money, he suddenly forgot that I was a customer that still was waiting on him to correct his issues in my home. I even went as far as going to the office’s of High Desert Tile and Stone to voice my frustrations and was floored by the way that Ray treated me. He stated that I could take him to court and that I would lose!!! Ray acts like a nice guy but don’t be fooled. I asked him for his business’s contractor’s license and he would not give it to me. I tried finding High Desert Tile on the CA Contractor’s State License Board but couldn’t find anything. The reason that Ray would not give me his contractor’s license number could be because his company doesn’t have one!
PLEASE save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere. I’m in the process of taking these people to court. Before they start any work on your home, ask them for their contractor’s licence. I failed to do this.

My wife and myself stopped in to see the inventory. The owner Ray, was very helpful and knowledgeable. We picked out some granite for a bathroom vanity top we are refinishing. Within a week his employees came to install. They were quick and very professional! They did an excellent job. We are very happy with the quality and price.
