Ooooooh I have come back, I was missing my family days and I knew the food would be good and it most definitely was. Our service was excellent our food was delicious oh how I have missed it.

Good food. Decent prices. Kind of an out-​of-​the-​way location, but seems to be a big draw for locals.

The staff is excellent, prompt, know what you need at all times!

The café that people are posting their flaming negative remarks about must be some other Li’l Bit Country, because the one I visited recently was great and, in my opinion, in no way deserves the type of comments made by some.
Service was consistently attentive. Everyone we encountered was gracious and friendly. Portions were generous. The menu has a nice combination of Mexican and American choices. The chile verde I had was tender, flavorful, and about as good as any I’ve had. The place had a welcoming, comfortable vibe like you want in a small neighborhood eatery. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back– in fact, I look forward to it.

Very good service. Kept the glasses filled. Very attentive. Food was great. Large portions for a fair price. Reminded me of a family dinerfrom my past.

Use to be my favorite breakfast place until they told us we cant play rummy at the table because its a family restaurant. I was under the impression rummy was a family game. We used to go to this place every month and suggested it to all of our friends. I will never go there again. If we were being loud they could have warned us or had us move to the back instead of having a server whisper that we werent allowed to play cards.

This is a cool little diner. The waiting staff is friendly and the food portions are excellent for the price.

This is not a review based off of the food. This isn’t even a review based off of the restaurant. This is a review based off of the employees and how they represent themselves in public. Next time you are out in your work uniform, you might want to think before you act/​speak/​breathe.
I was shopping, minding my business at a local grocery store late one evening. I happened to get in line with a very nice cashier and a whole lot of groceries. A man got in line behind me just after I started to load my huge cart onto the belt. Anyway, the cashier and I struck up a conversation while she was checking my items (she was still working). A woman (who was with the man behind me) walks up to the cashier telling her to stop talking and check faster because she was going too slow. The cashier and I were both speechless because it seemed so uncalled for. Who tells someone to stop having a conversation? As my things were done and I started to bag my groceries, the woman proceeded to talk badly about the cashier saying she was terrible.
I have shopped at this store for a very long time and have grown very fond of this particular cashier because she is always so friendly. She definitely did not deserve that negativity.
I just cannot imagine eating at this restaurant knowing that they treat strangers in public this way.

From 7am to 9am there is breakfast special great prices from 3.99 to 5.99 food is really good been here 3 times for my lil stop bfore off to the ditches, but now the bad news the service is slow theres one particular waitress super slow. I seen 2 customer’s sit wait n wait never to be acknowledged so they walk out, really sad to see people get up and leave. Its not hard to say goodmorning I’ll be right with you !

Pretty good grub, I had the Beef Hash breakfast with home style potatoes, eggs & biscuits & gravy. I had to order to go cause my daughter was at home sick and the waitress kept my coffee full while I waited. Nice little place, I’ll be back.

my hubby and i went here for breakfast last weekend. Waitress was very nice.
Hubby ordered the special. He said it tasted weird and too salty. By the time the
Manager came around I told her my husband thought it tasted weird and it was
too salty. She had enough nerve to say well he ate it I told her, he only took a few
Bites. Then she started arguing with me. Wow! We paid and left and will never
return. The waitress was very apologetic. I told her it was not her fault and that
she was over worked and under paid. We will never return to this place again.
My breakfast was fine, no complaints. But the attitude of the manager lost us as
future customers.

I came because someone reviewed it as having the best Chicken Fried Steak ever… it was ok, nothing special at all.

Booked a room in the back for a meeting, three months in advance. When we arrived they had bumped us for a larger group.
Food is good, but we miss the old owners and staff.

This place used to be really good with Asian owners but now the new owners changed the menu. The best part of this place was the Chinese food but now the cooks and waiters have been replaced. My family and I go here a lot but only for breakfast but even that lately hasn’t been that great. Their menudo was good when it first hit the menu, but now were better off making it ourselves. Some of their breakfast items are good, like their specials mon-​fri. Other than that, there is nothing special about this place, or at least not anymore.

Went there for breakfast, my friend said it was a great place. Didn’t see any specials though. I’ll try it again for dinner sometime after ready the reviews. Cute spot mostly packed with locals. Always great for pie and ice cream.

Well first impression i got was «Is this place even open?» So the restaurant is located in a plaza that looks to be pretty much abandoned. All the surrounding businesses seem to be closed. The place is a nice small café the staff there is very friendly and the décor is nice. After glancing through the menu two things hit me as very odd. Tsing Tao beer and Thai Ice tea. I think thats the first time i’ve ever seen tsing tao beer on a non-​asian menu. So not only did they have all your classics at this restaurant, they also have chinese stir fry, thai noodles, mexican food, and italian. Truely Of course i’m somewhat curious about the non-​american fare on their menu. So i went ahead and ordered the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was actually really good not to mention freakin huge also. It had the right amount of breading on it and it was crispy not too salty. The gravy added a nice contrast to the steak. The chicken fried steak was the only highlight of the plate. Everything else was kinda meh. But for a 10 dollar price tag i think it was worth it. Overall i think i might pay this place a visit again in the future.

Went here for dinner a few days ago and the place was packed! Turns out they have specials on some weeknights and their prices were really decent. Ended up ordering the chicken fried steak (I had read about it on another review here) and it was un believeable. Huge portion, super fresh, great service. Will be back.

Excellent food and plenty of it… enough to take home for another go ’round of enjoyment. The prices are very reasonable and the service is welcoming. The Potato Soup is comfortingly delicious and filling in itself. The BBQ Pork Ribs is a hearty delicious meal. Everything is good.

The search for the perfect chicken fried steak is over!!! Lil’ Bit Country Café is the best!!! I have had CFS from California to Texas… and by far, this was the best homemade chicken fried steak I have had in a long time. It was huge, it covered the plate… the gravy was exceptionally good as well. I hate to rave, but man… it was good. The price was right as well. I will definitely be going back to this joint
