my coworker recommended this restaurant to me a few weeks ago. last week i finally was able to try it out. the food was delicious! the portions were a good size for the price. the food tasted home made. i loved it. as far as the atmosphere of the restaurant… it was very small hole in the wall kind of place. you order your food at the cash register and they bring it to your table. unfortunately i experienced both walking into the restaurant and leaving that there were homeless people begging for money in the parking lot. it made me feel uncomfortable because they were waiting by my car to ask me. i know this isn’t the restaurants fault but the location isn’t in the nicest of areas.

This is a small Mexican restaurant that I love to frequent. I mainly get their California burrito w/a drink for $ 3.99. The only thing I dislike about going here is nothing about the restaurant itself but the area: there is always bums around the liquor store next door. I spoke to the owner’s of Lupita’s and they were considering moving because of this. I’m a regular just for the great burrito, which is the best one in the area outside of home-made IMO.
