Andys Barber Shop

I don’t write reviews very often but I’ve been going here for about a year, and even drove up from Fredericksburg to get my hair cut here. Everyone who works here is extremely personable and you can tell they take pride in their work.

Great haircut, fast service, lots of barbers working.

I moved to the Fairfax/​Vienna area in July 2015 and had to once again shop around for a barbershop. Upon finding Andy’s, I gave it the fair chance based on proximity and quality – couldn’t have been more satisfied! While you have the ability to choose your barber, most instances I’ll fall into the next available chair and am in/​out within 30mins (wait included). Excellent place to clean up when your lion’s mane is a little too long, don’t forget to bring cash!

My go to barber for 15+ years now… Andy and Hung are my personal favorites and my boys have been going there ever since their first haircuts. Jennifer does a great job with the boys. Highly recommend as they will do a great job.

Great experience. Very fast, very satisfied with the haircut. Staff very friendly, price ok. Just don’t forget to bring cash or check.

Simply the best barber shop that I have ever encountered! Great barbers that cut in the traditional style using real barber chairs. The shop is family friendly and lots of quality sports, cars, and business magazines and flat screen TVs. Cash only drops my rating to 4 stars.

Finally a decent barbershop! The guys here are good at what they do. They are also very Kid friendly and not expensive, Oh FYI make sure you BRING CASH! They don’t accept credit cards.

Great service, short waits, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. As long as I live in NoVA, I will come to Andy’s!

Was in town today for work and needed a quick cut. Did a nice job and was very reasonably priced. Next time I am in town and need a cut I will be sure to stop by.

Rarely have I been satisfied with a haircut because of the way my hair grows but they’ve nailed it nearly every time. Great product, great service, great store. I’d recommend this to anybody.

They say you should always have a trusted and reliable doctor and car mechanic in life. Well, I am going to have to add and say you should also have a trusted and reliable barber in life as well. I don’t have a reliable doctor and I’ve never met a trusted mechanic, but I am oh so glad that I have a trusted and reliable barber in my town. I have been coming ever since I moved to Vienna eight years ago. In the past eight years, I have only gotten two haircuts outside of this place and they were the worst haircuts I have ever gotten in my entire life. You always get greeted when you walk in, there are three TV’s on for your viewing pleasure, and they provide some of the best haircuts in the area. I have full trust and faith in my barber Qui. I will never let anybody touch my hair other than him. This place does get super busy on the weekends in the morning, however, it is 100% worth it. No wait is too long to get a haircut at Andy’s. I will always be coming here and I will always be recommending people to come here as for this is the best barber place in the area!

Andy’s is great! I’m extremely picky about my haircuts, and these guys are one of the few places that know how to do it right. I also like that I can watch TV while I get a hair cut, and that they do a straight-​blade shave on the back of my neck.

Quick, cheap, and they do exactly what you ask and then give you an idea of how to ask for the same cut when you come back assuming they all cut a similar way.
No complaints, which is important with haircuts.

I always get my hair cut by the next available barber, so my wait is almost always less than five minutes. It’s brilliant. A men’s haircut is very quick — 10 – 15 minutes. They follow instructions well. Quality is generally quite good; occasionally I get some unevenness. Price ($ 14 for men’s) is good.

If you have curly hair (black/​latino), this place probably isn’t going to work too well for you. I’m rating it 3 stars because I’m fairly low maintenance, but I know other people who’d probably be willing to give it a lower star based on my service today. The haircut was alright, very quick, no frills, very affordable as well ~$ 15. However he didn’t cut the front lines of my hair. I asked him to, when he did the line was very very uneven. I told him this, and he asked me what he should do to make it even. I mean, he’s the barber, we’re in serious trouble if he’s asking me how to fix haircuts. With a little bit of effort he was able to get it mostly even and I left. Won’t be returning.

Great service on all levels. Don’t go there hoping to catch up on your magazine reading, as you’ll likely get to sit in a chair minutes after walking in. I strongly recommend this place for value, barbers’ skills, and customer service.

There are a lot of barbershop-​shops (places with several people working as a barber in one shop) in the area. I’ve tried several of them, but none of them are as consistent as Andy’s. Here are a few of my reasons why I very highly recommend Andy’s:
— I have had my hair cut by 4 different people, and each time I’ve come out with results that I wanted.
— Because of overall consistency, I wouldn’t hesitate coming in and waiting for the next available barber instead of waiting in line for one person. Granted I do have my preferences, but not enough to keep me waiting for hours on end.
— The guys here LISTEN. When you ask for a specific kind of cut, they’re listening and actually ask more questions to make sure they got it right instead of guessing what you just said (ever leave a barber thinking ‘wow I didn’t know he’d give THAT high of a fade’ or ‘he should’ve showed me what a #2 trim was’?)
— Haircuts are relatively fast. It won’t take you longer than 10 – 15 minutes from once you sit down to the finish of your cut… and that’s including the shave and hot towel at the end.

These guys know what they are doing. Real professionals. I ve been going there for last 2 years. I ve been disappointed couple of times, but it because I am very picky about my haircut. Guys are very friendly and very fast.
The only thing you might not like about this place: — Ca$h only!!!
