Absolutely scrumptious. Had watermelon tomato gazpacho which was really right on the mark– cold, the shrimp and very Gouda grits– wow, unbelievable. Wonder why I haven’t been here for a while. Was at Dulles airport chef Geoff and it reminded to go. The airport had a great breakfast and outstanding service. The Tyson’s restaurant is casual elegant I would say, and the menu had so many standard uniqued up dishes. So much to offer. And parking valet is «free» so very convenient drive in! Will be coming often– and I do remember we could even eat outside with our dog! Love it.

I can only speak for the falafel– don’t get it. It’s not bad for whatever it is, it’s just not falafel. Wrong spices, soggy, and unappetizing.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday before a 4 hour meeting. I was a little hesitant at first looking at the menu and how I was told they needed to see if my table was ready despite the fact I had a reservation and more than half the place looked empty. The people who serve the tables are nice and have a great attitude, but it wouldn’t hurt the person at the front who will greet you to smile a bit more and genuinely care about the customers. A fake smile is easy to look through. Overall, the food was great, they subbed what I didn’t like and it was great! Not to mention filling! I will be back!

Me and my friends went for brunch last week and overall it was a great experience. Ive got hash salmon and it was delicious even though I imagined that the dish was designed different! My friends got avocado toast, salmon with poached egg and frisee salad. My friends also enjoyed their food. 4 stars of 5, because the service was little slow, we had to ask refills for water and coffee . In addition, Brunch Special is really good, for $ 23 you get coffee, mimosa and one of the brunch dishes. I will definitely recommend this place for brunch.

Okay, so let me first say that my first experience with Chef Geoff’s was MUCH better than my experience Saturday night. My husband and I decided to go based on my suggestion… boy were we disappointed. Expecting to have an excellent meal we ordered a couple of drinks, and started with a wedge salad(which was unfortunately the highlight of our meal). The salad was a wedge of iceburg lettuce with a drizzle of a balsamic reduction, crumbled blue cheese(really YUM), cherry tomatoes and a slice of maple glazed bacon. We were off to a good start. Then came our entrees — my husband ordered the not-so-special«special» Wagu Beef, which was a nice piece of steak cooked medium-rare served over a bed of edamame, mixed bell peppers and onions served with a ginger glaze. The ginger glaze overwhelmed the entrée to the point that was all he could taste. Disappointing/disgusting. I ordered the Spiced Flat Iron steak, it was okay, but charred pretty badly, and the yucca was undercooked, the only redeeming factor was the verde salsa it was served with. We went drinkless for much of our dinner, and we were never asked how our food was. My husband and I were not too worried about the price of the special, but when our bill came his entrée was a whopping $ 37.95 — it was not worth that! I could have had better at Pei Wei, and only paid $ 10. I really wanted to like it, the atmosphere was great and it had a lot of potential to be good«AGAIN». I am wondering if there is a chef there that needs to be let go, considering all of the mixed experiences I am seeing.

Very nice restaurant, I didn’t like the NY Strip and truffle Mac and Cheese, they were nice enough to take it back. It was just an odd taste others may like it. The burger was very good with a zesty sauce.

This was a clear reminder for me to not dine out on holidays: where typical pre-fix, over-priced stuff that are serviced by the mediocre kitchen staff who can’t handle the busy holiday crowds, surely lead to quality naturally dropping way down. I’d still come back here for either HH or normal-day brunches — certain items are very good on normal days. For today’s Easter brunch: potatoes were more greasy than usual, my eggs benedict came with over-salted spinach … do they not know that the accompanying ham is typically salty anyway? irrespective, I didn’t eat the ham(I mainly like fish and fresh produce). Staff were generally friendly, coffee came nicely hot and very tasty(I don’t drink but one cup a day so taste does matter!)

The food at this establishment is absolutely delicious! However the reason I am giving them 4⁄5 instead of 5⁄5 stars is because their service is terrible. This may have something to do with the sheer volume of tables the waiter had to attend to. The waiter was a great waiter, but my god, the food took forever to come, I think we waiter almost 40 minutes for our food to come when there was maybe 8 table total in the entire restaurant, and when we ordered dessert, that took forever to come as well. By the time we got our dessert, there was maybe 3 tables left in the entire restaurant. Aside from the absolutely ridiculous wait time for our dishes, Chef Geoff’s dishes are absolutely delicious and are a must try. The prices are very reasonable at about $ 14 per brunch dish, and the serving sizes are VERY nice. You will definitely not walk out hungry eating here. We got the plantains and guacamole as our starter which was very tasty and crispy and the the guacamole was very creamy and complimented the plantain chips well. For our entrees I got the Country Fried Chicken with Gravy and my girlfriend got the Parisian Eggs Benedict. The Country Fried Chicken with Gravy was very crispy and juicy and full of flavor and the gravy complimented the chicken well. I used the excess gravy on the large crispy on the outside and soft on the inside biscuit. I love how thick the gravy was and not overly salty, and season just right. The dish also came with some nice fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy potatoes that were absolutely amazing. This dish is a must try, but be warned this entrée is VERY filling, but worth every bite. The Parisian Eggs Benedict I would say isn’t as good as the country fried chicken but was very delicious as well. It comes on a large piece of bred with spinach, ham, a nice poached egg along with some other toppings. Everything worked well together to make a very nice dish, but I would say that the Salmon Eggs Benedict definitely would be a better choice. My friend that brunched with us got this dish and was very pleased with the entrée. I think the biscuit used instead of the large piece of bread is a finer choice. For dessert, we got bourbon chocolate pecan pie with a scoop of the honey cinnamon ice cream. I must say, this pie has got to be one of the best 3 pecan pies I have ever had. This pie is a MUST have and I would definitely suggest you get this dessert if you decide to eat here. The ice cream was also very delicious, and I would never guess that honey and cinnamon would go nice together. Like I said if you eat here, I highly suggest you save room for dessert and get this item, you will not regret this dessert. All in all, do not hesitate to eat here, the food is absolutely delicious, with reasonable prices and portion sizes. I just hope you don’t experience the terrible service I had to go through. On and to point this out, the location is kind of hidden, and is located on the right side of the building of the Tiffany location in Tyson’s. Two thumps up and a MUSTTRYSPOT! If it wasn’t for the bad service I would have given them 5 stars instead of 4.

Second visit in about a week and impassively consistent, maybe even better than my first visit. Service and food were outstanding. I liked the Honey-Sriracha Wings, just the right amount of spice for me. I appreciated the waitress bringing me a fresh napkin after the wings for the rest of the meal. Nice touch. Ordered a burger and asked for an extra plate because we were going to split it. They brought the burger out already split for us on two plates each with their own setup. Again, nicely done. My ice tea was refilled extremely quickly, no easy feat since I drink a lot of it. The Flourless Chocolate Cake with banana ice cream was a great way to finish off the meal. Paying via Apple Pay and the OpenTable app worked flawlessly. After I paid via the app our waitress came by the table to acknowledge the payment and thank us for coming in.

On our family evening out, we came here for dinner and were first greeted by the friendly complimentary valet service who could take jokes about if he could drive stick-shift or not. Once inside, we met the hostess who walked us to our table. The interior is very nice, but it was a bit warm inside. The food and service were pretty good. We shared calamari for an appetizer which came with two different sauces. Both were great; one was more tangy, while the other was more sweet. For my main entrée, I had one of the specials which was grilled lamb ribs with cucumber salad and tzatziki. The meat was very tender and flavorful without hiding the flavor of the lamb itself. For dessert, we shared the seasonal choice of bourbon chocolate pecan pie slice and a couple of espressos. The service was attentive without being over-bearing. I think we’d all say that we’d happily come back again.

I had such high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, Chef Geoff’s was a disappointment. The location was great, and the interior was cute, but the food just wasn’t good. I came here with a friend and we ordered an app and two entrees to share. We started with an order of fresh cinnamon donuts. They came with three dipping sauces, but to our dismay, they tasted strangely artificial. We then waited a good 45 minutes for our mushroom pizza and avocado toast. The pizza was ok, but the toast was pretty bad. The avocado wasn’t ripe so it was hard, and the accompanying eggs and turkey bacon were completely cold. On top of it all, we both questioned the freshness of the bacon because it tasted a bit«off.» All in all, it’s obvious that the dish was sitting out for an extended period of time. I mean, the toast was so hard I could barely bite into it. With tip, we spent a total of $ 42 there — definitely not worth the money. I won’t be coming back anytime soon!

Chef Geoff’s gets a major upgrade for its increase in sadness and its extended happy hour. Travel through time with me, Unilocalers… About five years ago, Chef Geoff’s was a bustling, hip happening spot for the yuppie, after-work crowd. This used to be one of the more popular happy hour spots in Tysons, and it was unpleasantly loud and basically impossible to get a seat at the bar. The food and drinks were good, probably far better than other options in the area. However, it just wasn’t worth the effort for me, what with the crowds, the poor service(due to the crowds), the annoying parking situation, and having to explain to friends in great detail how to find this poorly, poorly marked restaurant. Oh, how times have changed… Fast forward a few years. The metro has opened. There’s a plethora of new, similar restaurants in and around Tysons mall, most of which are much more convenient from the metro. I’ve been to Chef Geoff’s twice in recent months. Once was on a Sunday, and it was completely dead. My dining companion and I sat at the bar and were literally the only customers in the restaurant. We were pleased to see that their happy hour is seven days a week. Service was impeccable since we comprised the entire clientele. I went back to Chef Geoff’s again on a Monday to meet a friend for drinks. It was about 8 p.m., so we were certainly not expecting happy hour. I sat at the bar, where there were plenty of seats. The bartender handed me food and drink menus as well as a happy hour menu, and I was so surprised that I had her confirm that it was still happy hour, because the menu itself said that ended at 7. She confirmed that indeed, they have extended their happy hour until 9! I believe this means that they’re trying to compete with the new, more convenient restaurants in the area by running an unprecedented daily happy hour from 4 – 9 p.m. And this is a real happy hour with good specials on drinks and food that I would eat on purpose. The happy hour specials include a couple of wines, a lot of beers, sangria, and an assortment of pizzas and burgers, a variety that would easily satisfy most appetites. I have to say, I’m now very pleased with Chef Geoff’s, the restaurant that time forgot. The main thing that’s lacking now is adequate signage that’s visible from the road. Is there really nothing they can do about this? The flag is only visible if there’s light outside, accompanied by a moderate, northwesterly breeze.

Delicious amazing service! We came for restaurant week and were thrilled! Food was fantastic: truffle popcorn and Mac and cheese are delicious, the flat iron stake was perfectly cook, salmon was wonderful and the mushrooms were fantastic! All the deserts were magical! Highly recommend the orange ricotta pound cake! It’s a DC staple and it never disappoints!’

This place was amazing! Came as a guest for a work related holiday party– they seated us in a private dining room with a pre selected menu. The service was amazing and the food absolutely perfect! The Crispy Calamari was perfectly cooked. Not too much breaking at all and not over fried. The spinach salad had amazing taste, thanks to the goat cheese and dried cranberries. We also shared the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and the Bone-In NY Strip Steak. The ravioli was phenomenal. The steak was the size of the dinner plate and perfectly seasoned. I would absolutely come back here. Amazing food and great service. Zero complaints!

PRO-TIP: It’s in the back, left hand corner of the u-shaped building(so behind Tiffany’s, in the center). Parking is behind it or around the other side of the building. The service here is outstanding. I wish I had known our server’s name because he was great. He was very patient with our huge party(6 adults, 6 kids), he was timely, friendly, got all orders correct, just perfect. I’m giving the food 2 stars and the service 5. I ordered the vanilla bourbon french toast which was. an interesting take on french toast. Big, thick, moist slices of french bread, soaked in french toast batter. It was just okay — there was a kind of nutty, caramelly flavor I didn’t quite care for, nor did I like the literal«french(bread)» toast — you know, the cut and type of bread. I’m a simple girl, and I like simple french toast.

Located right next to Tiffany and Co. Tons of parking near Nordstrom Rack. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have happy hour till 9 P.M., and there’s plenty of space to sit at by the bar. Had the candy apple sangria and it was a bit too sweet for my liking. Also, tried their house Cabernet and it was way too bitter. Prices for food and drinks aren’t that discounted in my opinion. Seemed like normal prices to me. The happy hour pizza is $ 8+, the wings are $ 9 and happy hour wine is $ 6−7−.

The food here was just perfect. I mean really. We over ate because it was just too good to stop. I had the Ahi and my wife had the scallops, and we didn’t even really talk. There was no need for words, so I’m writing them now. If you get a dessert(which we did), go for the doughnuts. My wife got them, and I should have. While my S’mores Bread Pudding was extremely delicious, the dunking sauces for the cinnamon doughnuts was unreal. Mix, match, or just alone, these sauces and doughnuts are not to be passed up. Our next visit might just be for dessert(possibly multiple) and drinks. The service was very fantastic, and the team even managed a hiccup with an OpenTable credit very well. I can’t say enough good things. Go, eat, enjoy, repeat. We will definitely be back.

Went here for a happy hour and was blown away by their portions! Our party of 10+ was seated near the entrance. When we arrived, a lot of the other people in the party have finished their meals, and happy hour was just about to end! 2 minutes before 7pm came around, we placed our order — and they still honored the happy hour prices even past the time. The food was good. We ordered sweet potato fries, simple pizza, and the fried plantains from their happy hour menu. The portions were well worth it. We had to pack a lot of it with us because we can’t even finish it all! Expect to be full when you’re for happy hour. Service was good. It wasn’t difficult to find the server, and he made it really easy for us to split the bill between different people in the party who are moving in and out of the table. Everything was we expected it to be. Was it out of this world? Not quite. But it was comforting and there wasn’t any surprises.

Came here for brunch and left happily and full. It is tucked in the Tiffany building and you can park outside or the garage of Nordstrom rack. they offer valet parking as well. I ordered the monte cristo and my friend ordered the burrito based on the server’s recommendation. Both turned out to be great. Their monte cristo is using turkey instead of ham. The Gruyère cheese and bacon add a little smoky flavor to the sandwich. The French toast is sweet, making the whole sandwich savory and sweet, right on point. It also comes with a side salad with balsamic dressing. I enjoyed it very much. My friend ordered a burrito. It looked yummy. I tried the fried potato, it is very crispy and tasty. It seems this place is not crowded on Saturday. No waiting time at all. I would definitely come to visit again.

I’ve been coming here off and on for some time now and the happy hour is awesome, they have $ 6 burgers with fries and an extensive line up of drafts and you can get them in the humongous 34oz mug, it’s 3pm-7pm daily and all day Monday/Tuesday I finally came in on a date and sat at a table, the setting was romantic, the staff was great and the food was delicious, for appetizers we had Bacon wrapped Dates and fried Calamari, they were both done to perfection For entrées I had Big Shrimp and Very Gouda grits, my date had the Atlantic Salmon, the Salmon was a nice size and very tasty, my Shrimps were huge and fresh and the Gouda grits were good and a different approach vs the traditional Cajun shrimp and grits My visits at the bar are always good times but now I know that going here for dinner is good for many occasions They also have brunch on the weekends(I haven’t been yet)
