I love this café. It serve great foods, the foods are freshly made. And have a very nice service even when they are busy the can still provide good quality of foods and service.

I absolutely love Marketplace Café! It is a great place to go for a quick lunch with a coworker or have a lunch meeting or catch up with a friend. They have various items on their menu from pizza to sandwiches to salads. I love their Margherita pizza — fresh basil and crispy crust with tasty sauce! I’ve also had Grilled Pesto Chicken Sandwich, Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad, and Blackened Salmon Caesars Salad before. I’ve never been disappointed with the meals. Overall, the service is quick, staff is friendly, servers are attentive, price is affordable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. I always go here when I am in the DMV area, I wish they had this on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Must try SHRIMPANDASPARAGUSRISOTTO with TOMATOBISQUE — – I’ve been coming here for almost 7years just for this. There are many other things I’ve tried from this place but these two are the best of best. I love this place but I give 4 stars because sometimes I get disappointed about consistency of the taste. It tastes different everytime I go. Its either blend or they put too much white wines in it.

No fries with any other sandwich besides their«burger» that’s not even listed on the menu? Horrible! Can I pay extra for the fries? No. Really Virginia? In Miami you can get your yummy fries with any sandwich! Who denies anyone fries when they have them??? This seriously needs to be changed! Why is one burger(super sandwich) only allowed to be paired with French fries??? Why lose business when someone wants to pay extra to enjoy them??? The food is good here like all other Nordstrom cafes I’ve been to but service is lacking even when dining in. Get those fries out to those other sandwiches!!!

My daughter loves this place. She loves their Chinese chicken salad and the kids Mac and cheese. They have the best red velvet cupcake that I have ever tried… And I have tried many in many different cities in the US.

One of my favorite eateries in the mall! There is so much to choose from Tucson Salmon, Chicken and varieties of salads. Even the pizza delicious. Service is fast with no delays

So disappointed! I haven’t been to the café in a year or so but they still had my favorite salads — Asian Chicken; and Grilled Shrimp. Problem? both salads had soggy arugula and lettuce… they were totally gross. The worst $ 30 lunch ever for two disgusting salads.

The café has a convenient, large dining room where you can pause in your shopping, take a break and enjoy a leisurely, casual lunch. It’s located on the lower floor of Nordstrom’s. I’d been pleased with their personal size pizza or a simple salad on earlier visits, but my last meal was seriously disappointing. No complaint about selection, service or cleanliness. It’s easy to place your order, pay the cashier and just sit down to wait for your meal to arrive via server. This time I requested the salad nicoise with grilled salmon on top. When it was placed in front of me the lettuce was half wilted, the salmon was slathered with pesto sauce and the entire meal was excessively oily. TIP: I would stick with a simple sandwich or one of the small pizzas which have always been fine here.

I love Nordstrom, it is one of my favorite one stop shops! Get some clothes and food all in one. The café is really convenient for shoppers. We went during lunchtime so as expected, it is kind of slow. The have a variety of foods from salads to pizza to pastas. Their desserts also looked really appetizing. You order what you want and then they give you a number. Someone comes by your table and takes your yellow paper. Then someone else brings your actual food. There is not one specific waiter to your table — all of the employees are super kind and are willing to help you. My sister and I shared the mushroom and pepperoni pizza and the penne bolognese. Both were really good. The penne bolognese has spicy italian sausage in it as well as the sauce was just so good. Portion for this pasta is smaller than I would like but, oh well. Still good. The mushroom and pepperoni pizza has a lot of toppings as well, thankfully though for the price of $ 11 for a personal pizza hm. I would not expect anything less than wonderful from Nordstrom.

Very nice place! They give you wine to sample Ordered a flatbread with broccoli, Italian sausage and roasted garlic — it tastes amazing! They service was somewhat slow, but I guess it’s because it was Sunday. It’s usually busy on weekdays during lunch breaks

Wow, had a really appetizing lunch here the other day. I finished my entire prosciutto mozzarella ciabatta before I realized the«1075 calories» stated beside it on the menu…(oops) because it was that good! And I don’t regret it! ^_^ It was dripping delicious. Literally dripping. garlic aioli that was paired really well with the fresh basil, mozarrella, and oven dried tomatoes. Everything in the sandwich just seemed to fit well together. As some of the toppings dripped out as I was eating, I found myself studying it pretty carefully to see exactly what was in this mouthwatering treat, thinking maybe I could recreate this at home… looks like the extra kick was the spicy giardiniera(pickled veggies). Slight food coma after, because the entire sandwich is pretty filling for me. Overall very enjoyable, and nice ambiance. I wouldn’t mind going out of my way to grab a lunch here.

It was so great!!! It’s inside Nordstrom first floor. Very nice food: salads are all delicious. Ciabatta is cheaper than salad, but very nice, and with complimentary fountain drink and chips. Besides the food, the restaurant environment is also nice too, decent and casual.

I can’t believe how long it took me to discover this place! You can’t really go wrong with anything you choose on the menu. The format of the café is different, you walk in & walk through the line. There are good displays of the menu item & there is a person there waiting to answer questions & take your order. They hand you a ticket & you pay at the register where they hand you a number on a stick. You go find a table & sit & wait for a server-like person to bring out your food. They ask if you need anything & act sort of like a server but not completely, if that makes sense. Once you’re almost finished they hand you a check presenter with chocolates in it & I usually leave a tip. For food, I usually get the Tuscan Roasted Chicken or Tuscan Roasted Salmon. Generous portions, fresh, flavorful, & delicious! Better quality & freshness than most restaurants I’ve been to! I’ve also tried the Cranberry Turkey & it was good but would definitely prefer my go-to items. I’ve tried one of the pastas before but I can’t remember the name because it is no longer on the menu. It was delicious though so I’m sure the other pastas are great too. Overall, definitely prefer coming here rather than eating at the mall food court. Food is delicious & customer is always great!

Quality of service and food seems to be diminishing with time, as most comfortable restaurants get. Ordered a few dishes today that were quite appalling, in which lead me to ask for a refund due to losing my appetite upon digging into what I ordered.

Unknowingly arriving to the mall during a blackout, my sister and I were hungry and upset. After talking to some employees waiting outside there shops, we received word that Nordstrom was the only store with power. And there it was, the hidden gem of Tyson’s. Being the only open store, it was understandably packed but the lines seemed to go through quickly. They display their menu items behind a glass so you can see what it looks like if you order it and everything it comes with. You can also see the cooks make the food right in front of you. Everything looked so good! The food took about 7 minutes to arrive despite being so busy and we still managed to find seats because the place is so big. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad. The flavor was great. They do not skimp on the dressing or salad toppings. If you like your dressing on the heavy side than this salad is perfect for you. Personally I will ask the cooks to go light on the dressing the next time I decide to dine here(yes I will be back). The décor was surprisingly nice as well. Great experience.

I never thought to eat at this café but tried it for dinner. The tomato soup was good. Average to me, fantastic to my friend. The winner here was the salad. Big ol’ chunks of pear, awesome dried cherries, candied walnuts, blue cheese crumbles… this place took into account flavor, texture, and plating. Props to the salad guy for the flare he had while making it too. Haha. Though you go through the line to get the stuff, someone comes and takes your tray. I like that. I was greeted nicely, talked to whilst my salad was being made, and the person who took my tray was super nice too. I’d say I’m a fan.

This place is so delicious! the food is always so well made and cooked perfectly. the bread is wonderful and they have a delicious cilantro lime dip that it to die for. I’ve tried their pizzas, soups, sandwiches, and their risotto and it’s all tasted wonderful. I would definitely recommend bringing your family and friends to try this place out for a casual lunch. The only small issue is the service can be wonderful or very meh. Other than that, this place is delicious!

Nordstrom Café is a pretty great place. Nestled on the first floor at the Tysons Corner Nordstrom, it actually took us a bit to realize it was there. We come every couple of months, either deliberately, or while making plans to stroll through Tysons. They have a decent selection of salads, entrees, soups, and pizzas, but not too many, so they can concentrate on the limited dishes and do them well instead of churning out a lot of mediocre dishes. The format is a little odd, but once you get used to it, it’s not bad. You walk up to the counter and order and pay for your meal at the register, where they give you a number; sit at any empty table with your provided number and a friendly server comes up and takes care of the rest. Food comes out quite quick and you cannot go wrong with their Nicoise Salmon Salad or the Shrimp Arugula Salad. Coffee is decent, too. As others have said, this is most likely not a place to go if you have a tight schedule as the servers are always running and have a bunch of tables to cover. If you have a lax timetable and want a nice lunch, come on in!

There are so many options when it comes to food at Tyson’s mall, but I’ve just tried Nordstrom Café in the past year since I didn’t shop here too often. They have quite decent food with decent prices. Service is always great here! Perfect for lunch or brunch.

Pros: great customer service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Ordered the lentil soup which was good, tomato soup was a bit heavy and salty, and also had the prosciutto with mozarella sandwich which was decent. Order the royal cookie(Coconut, macadamia nuts, and chocolate)!!! Cons: the tomato soup and prosciutto sandwich was a 3⁄5 Overall: great atmosphere and perfect place for a quick snack

Ordered the chicken and artichoke pasta. It was really nice and creamy. Felt very heavy in the stomach with half of it, but it’s indeed very delicious. Their other pastas, salads, Paninis looked really great too. That’s the advantage of displaying the dishes right at the entrance. It gives the flexibility and ease of choosing to the customers. If you’re roaming through Nordstrom at Tyson’s you can definitely try this place out. Very cordial service as well!

I love everything about this place. It is a dream come true for a mama that wants to feel fancy and take her kids to lunch. Service is so helpful. Food is so yummy an big portions. Turkey club and tiramisu are worth the trip. Tyson’s Mall is so great for kids. Throw in Disney and Lego store and call it a day. Win for everyone.

Shhhhh! One of the best kept secrets in Tyson’s I! Great place to get decent quality café food on the go without being surrounded by the huddled masses and malodorous bouquet that permeates the food court.
I love this place to enjoy lunch or a snack in relative serenity. I’ve been eating in Nordstrom Cafes for years(milk and chocolate chip cookies were always my bribe for nieces and nephews to «be very, very good» during our shopping spree) and enjoying the casual ambience, absence of busy mall traffic, & sandwiches, salads, and pastas made from quality ingredients you actually want to eat for more than a decade. Again, it’s a café, but taken against the context of other nearby options(california pizza kitchen, sbarro, chinese fast food, McDonalds, etc) it stands head and shoulders above other comparable offerings.
Service is friendly and competent and sets a positive vibe. If you’re out shopping in Tyson’s I and feel peckish, I suggest you stop in and enjoy a sandwich, coffee beverage, or even a glass of wine here(or a carton of hormone-free milk for your favorite wee one). Don’t miss topping off your snack or lunch with a piece of their gourmet chocolate! You’ll avoid the food court and feel refreshed for the second leg of your shopping marathon!
