So nasty. They grab their ingredients with their bare hands. Touch money then touch your cones. Pile their dishes in the sink(which you can see). It is very unsanitary. Thank goodness we got ours in a cup.

The only employee there was clearly poorly trained and didn’t really know what he was doing. I ordered a strawberry milkshake that turned out very, very poorly. It was far too watery, and didn’t even have the texture of a milkshake. Do not ever order from here. They probably couldn’t even scoop you ice cream correctly.

Officially done with this location and Cold Stone’s corporate office should revoke the franchising agreement with whoever runs this location. Always understaffed, line backed up to the movie theatre and only 3 people working. The kid manning the register kept hee-hawing with another employee, blabbering about tips while the line of people just waiting to pay was getting longer and longer. I stood there for at least a whole minute waving my credit card at him while he yapped to his buddy and expressed a flagrant disregard for the line of customers. The fact that the franchisee lets this happen and is so removed from the day to day operations should be grounds for losing their license. Every other Cold Stone I’ve been to has involved ownership who keeps things running smoothly.

Usually during late dinner time, you can see a line at this place. They always seemed to be understaffed and the line never really moves. They come out with seasonal ice cream mixes every couple of months. Their ice cream isn’t that special, to be honest, and there’s no standard amount toppings that you get ie. sometimes you’ll get more stuff in your ice cream mix and sometimes just two cubes of cake. There used to be a DQ at the mall which was our go to place for this type of mixed ice cream. Too bad they closed down and now we don’t have much choice but to come here when we are in the mall and are craving some ice cream.

This location is okay. Service is alright but not excellent. Plus this location gets crowded! Lines can get long. If I really want ice cream then I may come to this location. But I try not too.

this cold stone shop is in the food court of Tyson mall. I should have known better when I didn’t see a crowd of people waiting to get some on a hot day… as usual at other locations. I had the«Strawberry Blonde»…let me tell you it was far from SPECIAL . The Ice cream had no creamy taste to it all I have had much better store purchased ice cream. The worker looked in-experienced and not enthused at all to attempt to make it . It came with gram crackers crust which look more like dust. FROZENSTRAWBERRIES literally could not bite into them had to put them to the side. Caramel and a whipped cream topping. I added the«cake«which was an up charge of 95 cent for a piece the size you would tease a baby with . The total was about 14 bucks for 2 of these. I would not have minded if the ice cream was actually good and flavorful but it just wasn’t I was forcing myself to eat it It taste as bad as it looked . I have had cold stone creamery in the past and It was never this bad. I will visit another location just to re-assure that this establishment has not going down the drain.

I’m not sure what sort of 5 star experience people are looking for here. It’s a Coldstone in the Tysons I mall… right in the food court! I’m sure the people who work here deal with a bunch of crap day in and day out… give them a break. My ice cream came out fine, absolutely no complaints about the product iteslf.

Always a yummy treat but be prepared to wait as service is slow and anything you order is expensive.

Got there last night at 9:32 and they would not serve us. Closed at 9:30. This is in a food court, not a store. Lights off and the staff were working hard on putting everything away as fast as possible, rather than helping customers.

Ok so this is how it went. I ask for a banana smoothie… it arrives on the counter a nice pretty pink color. Um since when do bananas look pink? I asked the teenager who made my so called banana smoothie what the deal was and he said he added strawberries to it. I was perplexed… was it because he thought I said banana and strawberry, or did he make an executive decision for me and decide that it would taste better that way. Either way I couldn’t be bothered waiting another 10 minutes for it to be corrected so I took my pretty pink banana concoction and bid him adieu!

My wife has tried to use gift cards at this location before and had problems, although it usually works eventually. This weekend she stood there for at least 10 minutes while this kid swiped her gift card over and over… reset the machine, tried a different gift card(she had 2), nothing worked. Eventually she had to pay out of pocket, which is insane. We won’t be going to this location anymore, and we’ll be asking the company to give us the cash value of these gift cards because they’re apparently worthless. I don’t know if it’s this location or the company’s system that’s messed up but they need to fix it, the 16yos working here are no help.

This cold stone moves slowly, the customer service is lacking, and it’s messy. I know ice cream isn’t the neatest, easiest food to eat, but when you ordered it in a cup and it’s dripping over the side and you’re afraid it’s going to fall on the floor once they put it in your hands… Not fun. Good thing I don’t really like ice cream– this place would ruin it for me.

I ordered a large, gotta have it– size, yogurt flavored ice cream… I was hoping it would taste like the yogurt flavored gelato I had in Florence… I was disappointed :(The texture was icy, not creamy, and the flavor was ok… as for the service… I was lucky I got a nice female teenager who was very nice and quick. I guess the service varies depending on which teenager you get… It’s not the best, but it was O.K.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible Service. I agree with Josh A. that service sucks at this Cold Stone. The staff consists only of 16 year old kids who don’t want to be there and only want to goof off instead of working. To add to the agony of waiting for these kids to take your order and actually finish it, they have no idea what goes into the Cold Stone mixed classics. I actually had a kid add coconut to my boston cream pie ice cream. One good note is this location’s staff definitely keeps me away from the ice cream on a hot summer day at the mall!

Ai~~~yi~~~yi~yi~ Your ice cream fattens me up! From lips, to thighs, to my new man boobs, I should never, ever, ever find pubes! Ai~~~yi~~~yi~yi~ Your patrons are a pain in my ass! They come and scream and talk at a yell, Meanwhile, I’m wondering why I’m in hell… Ai~~~yi~~~yi~yi~ Your workers piss me off! They sing real bad which makes me mad, Putting you on Unilocal is what makes me glad! I think I need to lay off of the singing…
