Wow! So glad we stumbled upon this place! Even though it was only 5:30pm, there was a steady fast moving line. We walked in and the spicy, savory aroma of the charbroiled rotisserie chicken engulfed us. How could we not order the chicken? The weekend ceviche special was tempting, but I heard they had run out before I made my final decision. I got the quarter chicken dark meat with plantains and fries. My husband got the half chicken white meat only with rice and fries. The young man chopped the chicken right before our eyes. He piled our sides onto our plates generously. The chicken skin was delicious! So well seasoned, salty, spicy. The chicken was so juicy and tender. The plantains were perfectly caramelized on the outside and gooey sweet on the inside. No wonder people ordered those by the platter! I think 90% or more of the customers here spoke Spanish. The food felt like something the Peruvian mama you wished you had made in her smoky kitchen for you, piling your plate high because you’re too skinny, she said.

Love this place! The food is great and even though it’s always super busy they are really swift with getting you in and out. Plus they are generally really nice in there!

The food is so good. the yellow sauce really make it. there is generally a long line week days around noon because it is so popular. When i worked near by i generally ate here once a week. its that good!

This is the best peruvian chicken in the DC area. I confirmed it with other Peruvians. This is the best one. The chicken is cooked perfectly. Perfectly crispy yet juicy & flavorful. They have great sides and give you a lot of value for your dollar. The guys who work there are really nice guys too. To me, this is the best restaurant in Tysons from a value perspective. It’s hard to get food this good and this fast for such a great price.

Worst place ever. I call 40 mins before they close and tell me that they open till 10!!! I show up at 9:40 and the guy there tells me it’s closed because it ran out of chicken. I’m confused on how it’s closed already. When I told him that I called at 9:30…and they told me to still come because they were open. I don’t understand on why they would lie to their customers. We drove all the way down from Fairfax for this screw up. I will never recommend this place to no one. Go to Reston for a better Peruvian Chicken experience guys… don’t try this place.

This is located in tysons and is the best Peruvian chicken place ever. The yucca is best when fresh out the fryer. Best yucca I ever had. Order the family meal and the side portions are huge. This is my go to place for Peruvian chicken hands down

I come here every year for my birthday. It’s that good. I usually get the fried rice and chick peas as sides. Yucca is on point when it comes out fresh from the fryer. I also like to mix the yellow sauce and the green sauce. I’d like to think that they have a super chicken franchise in heaven

Incredibly surprised by this strip mall Peruvian take-out place(you can eat-in but they always pack things to go). The rotisserie chicken is AMAZING. Easily the best seasoned chicken I’ve had in a while. The skin was crisp and flavorful. The meat was juicy to the point of constantly dripping juice on your plate and on the serving container. The sides are best if you stick to the more Peruvian options(the mashed potatoes really are just passable, but the garbanzos and the spinach and the onion salad were very good). I’m not docking a star for the sides because the superlative chicken more than makes up for them. They also give you some extra sauces to mix things up, even though they really aren’t necessary. The ambiance on the fast-food level but you don’t come here for a romantic dinner. You come here for great roast chicken.

Super chicken is definitely super tasty chicken, a lot better than roasted chicken from grocery stores especially the crispy skin and full flavored dark meat. The sides are just average level, in my opinion, but the dessert is must try! It’s quite cold inside though.

This is definitely one of the better Peruvian chicken places in the area. If you’ve had an off experience I recommend you go during rush hour, the food is always much fresher and a better experience. The prices really cannot be beat, the family meal(one chicken, 4 sides) for less than $ 25 is really hard to beat. We actually got about 6 servings from it. We’re big fans of the plantains, fried rice, veggies and mashed potatoes with gravy. Having had fried yuca at puerto rican/cuban places I have to say I prefer those, so I recommend skipping those. The guys working there are always very friendly if not talkative. The only downside is all the Styrofoam, but that chicken is just so darn tasty. Get it while it’s hot! FYI it also reheats really well, in a pan, with a lid and a little water, even more juicy and flavorful than the day before!

Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars is just bitter, and has no appreciation for food. Their chicken is delicious and I would dare to say no other Peruvian chicken comes close to theirs. My boyfriend is Peruvian and has eaten his fair share as well, and he tends to agree with me. The chicken is great, but the sizes tend to vary. Sometimes you will get a HUGE quarter peice and sometimes its much smaller. I think it depends on who is cutting them up. I love the fried rice, plantains, and yucca. Also their pollo saltado and lomo saltado is one of the better ones, especially in the DMV area. Ive had quite a few renditions, and the ones that make me sort of laugh are when a resturant runs and jumps trying to make lomo/pollo saltado«deconstructed», or make«a high end» rendition. These dishes weren’t meant to be bourgie, and in most cases to try is to fail. Super Chicken gets it right, and I love them for it.

Love peruvian chicken in general, but this place is excellent! Just went back again and though it was my first time getting take out from here, it was still good when I got home. Got family dinner #3(1 whole chicken, 4 sides and 6 drinks. If you get it without the drinks the price drops $ 5) for $ 27.99. Also found a new Fanta flavor that I liked, mango! Sides were kid approved and chicken was as good as always. They seemed a little stingy on the sauces, said only three of each the spicy green and the yellow sauce. But I gave some puppy eyes and the guy gave me one more of each.

I have been to 24 different Peruvian chicken places in Northern Virginia and Maryland and Super Chicken is hands-down, no questions asked, the very best one. Their tortillas are fantastic, but they do not have them every day. If the line is too crazy, you can always skip it by ordering a burrito or taco salad instead of the traditional quarters of chicken and wait at a table. A HUGE perk is that they now deliver in Tyson’s. If you don’t know what to stink your office up with for lunch, this is probably your most potent bet ;). When a group of us orders Super Chicken, everyone on the floor comes to see what it is because it smells heavenly. This is a great place for groups. It’s SUPER cheap, and Super Chicken is definitely a meal and a half for the price of about $ 7.00. What more could anyone want?

This is probably one of the best lunch spots in Tysons. For about $ 7, you can get a quarter dark meal with 2 sides. This is cheaper than any of the food trucks by far. Be warned that the line tends to get pretty long, but it generally moves fast. The chicken is just absolutely amazing. Perfectly seasoned and cooked almost every single time I go here(about once a week), the chicken is so juicy it just melts in your mouth. The menu includes things like chicken fried rice, chicken cheese steaks, cheese steaks, carne asada and much more. Personally, I just get the quarter chicken meal cuz it’s super fast and I’m in and out of there in about under 5 minutes. If you get anything else, they give you a ticket and you have to wait a bit after paying to get it.

I thought to myself, let me check out this place to see what the Unilocal buzz is all about. I’ve eaten here a handful of times since relocating to the area in April. Somewhat of a picky eater with a sensitive tummy, very rarely do places score high with me. This place delivers! The chicken is VERY tasty and moist. The sides can be hit or miss, so I stick with the plantains and they’re yummy. I always feel healthier after eating here for some reason. Never that bloated too-full feeling afterwards. Servings are generous. They give you so much food, leftovers are pretty much a guarantee. Service has been quick during my multiple visits. I’m happy this establishment is near my home so I can indulge as often as I choose. As a new resident, this is amongst my favorites so far in the area.

Literally unbelievable. I’ve heard the murmurs and obsession over this place. Having a Peruvian boyfriend who cooks all the time, I had no expectations. Though I have to write that I was completely converted in one bite. This is not only unbelievably delicious, but incomprehensible for the price you pay FORANYTHING. I seriously don’t think I could live within 1 mile of this place without going weekly. I can’t wait to go with the native and see what he thinks… or also afraid since we’ll probably end up moving right next door.

Can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet. We’ve been coming here for quite a while now. There are pollo a la brasa places closer to where we live, but this is by far the best closest one. Pretty much on par with the best in Ballston IMHO. Chicken = AWESOME Yuca Fries = AWESOME

I wonder if we went on an off night. The chicken is kind of small but tasty. I don’t think it especially stands out for Peruvian chicken but not bad. The green and mayo sauces are good. We got a whole chicken and beans and yucca as sides. The beans were ok. The Yucca was very stale and barely edible. At first I thought we were lucky to get such a large portion but it was not worth it. One plus was that it took us less than 5 minutes to order and get food and carry out.

oMG!!! The charcoal flavor of the chicken with the spices? Why is Boston Market/Chicken still in business. Once you go Peruvian, other Rotisserie chicken places might as well fold. You can get a great family meal for around $ 6 or $ 7 per person which includes rotisserie chicken, sides and a drink. The sides are very good too as I love the Red Onion Tomato salad with lemon juice. Order extra green hot sauce as it really adds to the flavor profile of an already succulent juicy chicken with that charcoal grilled flavor! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! Nom nom nom
