Been here a couple of times after jogging the trail or visiting near by Villa Park library. Great service from young ladies and the items are nice. Store seems more of a meeting place for groups than business for public with layout buy its good to see stores on this stretch of old building stock occupied with business

I agree with Elizabeth R’s review– this place never seems to be open. I stopped by in the middle of the afternoon on a Monday(7÷28÷14) and they were closed. No sign on the door with posted hours and yet the website claims they are open until 6. When they are actually open, the coffee is good and the service friendly.

Tom and I stopped in because it was by the Prairie Path in Villa Park. It is a hidden asset in this charming village. Tom had a chocolate shake and I had a Butter Pecan sugar cake cone. Both were delicious, and the bill was very reasonable. Desiree who waited on us was most helpful. If you are walking or biking along the Prairie Path, I would recommend it.

A large Cappuccino for $ 3.60 — count me in. A cappuccino that mirrors the taste of one served in a froufrou café on the Champs or anywhere in Paris, for that matter, and I’ll be back everytime I’m in the Villa Park area. With one of their warm chocolate muffins, there was more than enough chocolaty heavenly decadence to forget that you could fry an egg outside on the sidewalk in a matter of a few minutes. I tasted my friends smoothie and strawberry ice cream which was quite good, too; and probably more appropriate for a blazing hot humid summer day. The only reason I’m leaving off 1 star is location/ambiance. A cappuccino this good should be reserved for hours watching the fashionable French going about their day. No offense VP, you’re just not Paris.
