The store is fine but the pharmacy is atrocious. They lose scripts, don’t know how to navigate insurance issues, and are generally poor at communication.

Made an appt online and went to the healthcare clinic this morning– everything was great! Got tested, got what I needed, everything was clean, everyone was helpful and timely, and one item was even on sale. Great location.

In attempting to use a coupon the cashier, Kia, shoved it back in my face and said rudely, «This expired days ago.» I’m not sure why, but this particular Walgreens tends to hire folks who need attitude adjustments. They really should fix this considering all of the competition they have. Don’t know why I keep going back to this store. I think after today, I know better now.

If zero stars was an option, I would give zero. This location is horrible. The service has declined over the years. There is always a long wait for RX and at the cash registers.
Also I do not care for the layout of the store. Inside at the RX counter, you cannot see if anyone is actually working.
Stay away from here.

Just took 2 pairs of passport photos for 27 $ and the quality is awful! I have printer and camera at home but wanted to take a better pics for my passport. There is no difference between what they do and what you do at home, just don’t waist your money!

I am not sure what is going on with this Walgreens Pharmacy, but we always have a problem picking up my daughter’s prescriptions. Luckily, we only have to use them when she is home from school. Not only is there always a problem, but the people working there have little customer service skills or any sense of urgency to resolve any problems. We have learned our lesson and we call before we pick up. Last month we were told that the prescription was ready to be picked up. When we arrived at the drive-​thru the said it wasn’t ready and we had to wait. They also could not explain why we were told it was ready and the blame was placed on someone who had «already left for the evening». This is only ONE of numerous incidents at this Walgreens. Today we had even more issues. We asked them to please call us if there was a problem filling the prescription because the doctor had to write it for 3 months because my daughter will be traveling abroad. We already cleared this with the insurance company. Today, we go online and see that the prescription is still pending, but no one has tried to contact us. As soon as we called, someone in the pharmacy said they were filling it right now. ??? So, we’re not quite sure what the problem was. They probably saw the note written on the prescription that we needed to pick up the script on Tuesday and that we always have problems. So frustrating.

Poor customer service at the pharmacy every time I go there. I went to pick a prescription tody. Staff first claimed they didn’t have a prescription for me. They kept me waiting in my car for 15 minutes. They then admitted that they lost the prescription and are looking for it. They had no respect for my time.

The pharmacy at this store is so slow! I’ve played two games on my phone and now I’m writing this review while I wait in line. HIRE MORE PEOPLE

Worst service I’ve ever received anywhere. For people to work here and are supposed the help people get better they sure don’t give a damn about anyone. I’ve got a sick child screaming in pain and the people behind the counter are talking and laughing with each other and not helping anyone! People are obviously in pain and need the items you have and not one of them seem to care! I would rather go to the DMV than ever come to this place ever again! I will forever boycott this store and give nothing but bad reviews!!!

Who would have thought that Walgreens could blow me away?
Yeah. This location kind of did.
I swung by here for a quick in-​and-​out visit to pick up some batteries and happened to pause long enough to notice how bright it was. So bright, clean, and shiny. Recently remodeled? I think, perhaps. Shelves were stocked well with more item options than most Walgreens I’ve seen. Sections of the store were clearly labeled and divided. Spacious aisles, large windows, nice people — good Walgreens, indeed.
OK, I’m sure this Walgreens is actually perfectly ordinary, but I’ve been living for the past five months in a rural area without a Walgreens. Rite Aid just isn’t the same thing. So, Walgreens, thank you for the breath of fresh air.

I wanted to second my 5 star rating for this Walgreens, in general (not just for photography). Another Walgreens couldn’t get the new Balance rewards card to work with my phone number — an odd computer glitch. Marrion took the time to figure it out and get me a card. Really appreciate the extra effort!

Take care clinic is a complete waste of time! I took my kid their 4 times to try and get a flu shot…4 different days. Not only was I not able to get in, they also were very rude. This place sucks big time. Do yourself a favor, go to cvs minute clinc on north and York in elmhurst.

Two pharmacy drive thrus, that’s what redeems this place. Believe me, it makes a difference. I once had to wait over 40 minutes at another Walgreen’s drive thru and NO I could not get out, there was someone in front of me and in back of me. Plus yea, I feel like I get faster service at a drive thru than when I go onside. Lazy? Maybe.
Anyways, I’ve been going to this Walgreen’s since I can remember. They’ve had some questionable workers and I’ll admit, their pharmacy is kinda hectic. I had needed a prescription filled and after a huge fiasco it turned out they got new computers and weren’t properly trained on them. So the manager had to come, of course she took her sweet time, cause you now, people have all day to chill at their local Walgreen’s. Eh… what are you gonna do, we all need a little bit of Walgreen’s in our life.
I go for medicine and prescriptions. Once in a while a candy bar and some make up but nothing else.

I used to really have good experiences here, I always thought the place was clean and stocked and the pharmacists were always friendly, helpful and never condescending. If I gave a review of the store a year ago, it would have been a four or five.
But be forewarned, something has changed with this Walgreens. The past three times I have gone have been pretty bad experiences. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day, but there is one pharmacist in particular who is very rude and makes you seem like an annoyance. This person doesn’t need to be named but she knows who she is. The other pharmacists and employees at least try to be courteous but are obviously over stressed. This is how mistakes are made and that is my fear with this Walgreens. I need to be able to trust the pharmacist and be able to have a conversation with if needed.
Its too bad, for they will lose business unless attempts are made to be a little more customer friendly like they used to be just a short time ago. Considering the thousands of dollars I have spent here over the years, this has obviously bothered me enough to write this review. It seems to be happening more and more lately, rude and patronizing service at various business places in the area. And I know it works both ways, there are enough customers who act pretty badly and are very demanding. I do not think I provoked a negative attitude, I go out of my way to always be respectful and only ask for the same respect in return.
I’ll give the place a couple more chances but am very close to taking my business and cash elsewhere. I also have realized that I need to review a couple other local places that are really great places. I will try not to just rate the bad ones.
There still are some good local places in Villa Park and I just realized that they deserve credit and a good review too.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. I always use Walgreens but this one is awful.
They are understaffed and always rushed. The staff is usually miserable.
If I ever call there I am on hold for at least 10 minutes (as was the case today).
Horrible service. This pharmacy needs some serious attention.

As far as the store is concerned, they have every thing fully stocked and its super clean.
As for the pharmacy, HOT MESS. When ordering my prescriptions the lady was so rude. When I went to pick up I could see why. It took me a whopping 20 minutes to pick my drugs up. The phone was ringing off the hook, and the lady at the front was clearly over whelmed. Another woman was attending the drive through and that seemed to be moving faster. Why are the people in the cars moving faster then the people who actually parked and came in??? I don’t know but something here needs to change. More staff of what??? SMH.

This may sound stupid, but I am a candy fiend! Bar none walgreens has one of the best candy spreads I’ve ever seen!!! Not to mention their circulars always have great deals too.
