Beautiful, well maintained park featuring gorgeous rolling hills and a large, lotus-filled pond with water fountains. Arguably the nicest park in the burbs and the perfect spot for a picnic. In addition to the tranquil setting, there is a host of different birds and waterfowl so bring a pair of binocs or a camera and find your happy place at the Willows.

When I was little, I used to love sledding here! And during the summer, I used to love feeding the geese and learning how to fish… I caught some sunfish here, I think… And there were all kinds of little critters… I was such a tomboy. Also, there is plenty of parking and a few picnic tables.

When the small lake freezes in the winter, I’ve seen people playing hockey there. With sufficient snow, the gentle hills at the periphery of the park become a great place for sledding. I’ve also attended craft shows, which are held annually during the winter holidays, and occasional art auctions at the mansion.

A beautiful old estate, now park, with a mansion that can be rented for special events. Lots of grills and picnic tables, several ponds with geese, swans, and ducks. Also nature trails and restrooms. Fishing is allowed with permit. Dogs are not permitted unfortunately.
