Holiday Inn Express Vincennes

Friendly Staff, Very Clean Rooms /​Facility, Comfortable beds, Complementary Breakfast had great selection, Highly Recommend.

We stayed here for a week for a family funeral. It is your typical Holiday Inn Express. It was clean; maid service was good; and front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was nothing special, but good. We were pleased with everything and would go back.

Great place to stay. Good location.
I had an excellent room, clean, good layout, decent breakfast.
The internet connection was fairly fast. Great shower compared to most hotels.

Easy check in and check out. There wasn’t a luggage cart available and the one elevator was slow. The breakfast was good and the room was clean though. Overall, a good experience. There was a pool (no hot tub) but we were too busy to experience it. We will stay here again next time we are in town.

Unlike HI Express in Evansville, my room was cooled by AC when I arrived.
Unlike HI Express in Evansville, I was greeted by freebies such as: endless cold water from a dispenser by the front desk, BIG cookies, granola bars, warm bottles of water in a basket, popcorn — at Eville I got to pick out one snack from a basket — really?
Unlike HI Express in Tell City, I actually had a microwave oven in my room and I wasn’t greeted by a mom with her 2 kids running around.
Love the medium sized fridge and ice machines on each floor. liked the soft and firm pillow combination.

Mostly good. Some downsides.
Staff is great. Lot’s of freebies in the lobby. Cookies, water, candy, bars, popcorn to pop in your room.
Rooms are typical in size. Clean.
Downsides? Room is a little dated. Carpet looks old. Mattresses are sagging. Have to unplug something to get access to an outlet.

Very clean hotel with a friendly staff, whether it be the clerk behind the check in desk, or the cleaning person you meet in the elevator. Plenty of coffee is available in the breakfast room and a good supply of free bagels, muffins and toast, too. This hotels even *smells* nice!
Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. We were kept awake by people (maybe kids) pounding and jumping at all hours. Not a pleasant experience when all you want to do is rest. Gotta take a star away for that.
Given the area, though, it’s a decent (clean) hotel to stay in if you’re visiting someone at the University nearby or just happen to be vacationing in Vincennes, IN. (for your sake, I hope it’s the former, not the latter.)

Clean large rooms, all new-​feeling. Plus free breakfast and Free wi-​fi? If you have to be in Vincennes, you might as well stay here.
