Lics used to be good. Just experienced the worst service I have ever had in my life. Waffle cones were stale, and the child working there told us they weren’t. This place needs new management.

I like Lic’s ice cream, shakes, cakes etc, but that’s not the main reason I go there. My favorite thing to have at Lic’s is lunch. They have some excellent soups and sandwiches. They’re not fancy, but they’re made with fresh quality ingredients. It’s a great place to go for lunch for an alternative to the typical burger and fries fast food offerings.
In particular, I’m a big fan of their Gourmet Sub. It comes with chips and a drinks, and makes a delicious lunch.

The ice cream is pretty good but the employees just don’t seem to care about their jobs and seem annoyed when they are waiting on you.

I used to live in Vincennes and this was the best place in town for ice cream. They had great flavors for a low price. We grew up on this stuff.
Now I go to Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone but Lic’s was amazing. I can’t wait to go back to IN and have Lic’s ice cream again. I hope their quality hasn’t changed.
