Just an update– I had food poisoning later in the day after I ate the French toast here… Worst night of my life. I will never again be a patron at this lousy diner.

The food here and staff were just what this hungry man needed. The place is incredible. The menu is full of delicious choices. Not your average menu. The prices are very reasonable. Very chill place and friendly staff.

My family & I have been here on several occasions prior to this weekend & only had 1 good experience with the service. So this morning my husband & I were in the area & we decided to give it 1 more chance. The service was ridiculously slow, when we finally did get waited on, we spent a good portion of our morning waiting to get our food. Once the food finally arrived, I grabbed my toast to butter it & noticed that the toast was very cold. I started to butter 1 when I decided to get the attention of the waitress & explained that the toast was cold & asked if I could please get new toast that was hot. She returned in a couple minutes with the same toast because the butter was melted on the piece I buttered previously. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with how the waitress handled this. Instead of making me new toast they just reheated the toast I had. And because of this final straw we will not be returning here. It wasn’t just the toast. …the service here is continously bad. It really stinks because this is the closest restaurant near our house but I will not waste my time or money at a place that keeps providing terrible service.

Went to Larrys to get the Prime Rib Special that they advertise on the signage, but they told us it was all sold out. It was 5:30 and the waitress informed us that they had someone call in 5 orders and it wiped it out. Seriously turn the sign off, If you want the Prime Rib Special get in at 4:30.

I went here yesterday for a retirement party. The food was good. I had the chicken parm with penne pasta. The salad bar was awesome, great selection and fresh. The chicken was very good, however the noodles were very soggy. The service was good. Not the best but I was satisfied overall. Nice place to have banquets, parties and lunches. The restaurant had many dimensions. When I walked through there was a coffee café, a restaurant, a party hall and seating that was true dining style. I will come back and try additional food to make my final determination.

Went once and once it stays. You forget the bacon I ordered and barely come around enough for me to tell you you forgot my bacon before I’m done… Then try to charge me for it? Nope! Bacon shall never be absent from my breakfast ever. Besides, the food was not that great… Did I already mention they forgot the bacon?

Met a friend here for a late breakfast/early lunch. After a steady NJ diet of pasta, pizza, eggplant parm, and hoagies, I decided to go totally healthy as my trip was nearing the end. I started with a super green smoothie which consisted of fresh spinach, kale, low fat yogurt, honey, bananas, and apples. It was freshly blended and tasted delicious. No one ingredient dominated. It was thick and creamy too. I will most surely return for another on my next trip. I had the Blueberry & Pomegranate Kale salad. It was good and the portion very large. My friend got the omelette and I’d like to try that next time.

I have been there several times and always have a great meal. The salad bar is one of the main reasons why I go. So many options to customize the perfect plate. The French onion soup is also one of my favorites but pretty much every meal has been delicious. Definitely recommend!

We’ve been to Larry’s II maybe 3 – 4 times now and what I like is the consistency in the food. Not had a bad meal here yet. The waitstaff are very nice and warm and friendly, and the prices aren’t too bad. I like salad bars– and Larry’s is ok, nothing spectacular but it’s a decent mean. I happen to like variety and if you can’t find something to like at Larry’s you’re not looking hard enough.

Great place with a great hospitality. Food is delicious, staff is well trained to attend the customers. Their brunches are fabulous. Coffee the best and free wifi.

First time to Vineland in at least a decade. It seemed nothing had changed. When I rolled through before 8 am, I couldn’t find a single place on Landis Avenue open for a cup a Joe. Quel Domage! So, I pulled to the side of the exceeding wide main drag through this drag of a burg, whipped out my mobile Unilocal app and put it to work. Seemed I wasn’t too far from Larry’s II Restaurant; just a left on Main, and about a mile down on the right. Found it. Went it. Sat at the counter nearest the entrance, facing the soda fountain. This place has the look and feel of a diner, but was not designed like one externally. The waitperson approached promptly with smile and menu, and poured my a cup of coffee before I opened the Bible of a menu. On this coldest morning for the date on record, it was chit billy sitting so near the door, but the hot java held the coldies at bay. I ordered French Toast which was described as being made with Brioche. It wasn’t, or at least did not appear to be other than a decent cut of white loaf. It was pretty good, and it was nice to have a real syrup bottle to pour over the egged bread, even if it wasn’t Maple within. I engaged in a running conversation with my server, and even left my business card if needed. Larry’s is a reasonably good place for breakfast in this neck of the woods, especially considering the dearth of alternatives. Should I have to return to the local judicial outpost down there, I would not hesitate to return for another morning meal.

I have always had a good experience here — the service is great and the food is some of the best diner food I’ve had so far in my life. The eggplant ricotta w/Caesar salad was a perfect lunch. The folded fried zucchini was cooked just right and a great appetizer to share with friends.

I went here a while ago and was not so happy but I went back again and tryed it again. The place is very nice and very clean. The staff was very warm and freindly. The waitress Casey was very nice and told us what she liked on the menu. We ordered we had the salad bar it was very fresh and clean. I went up several times. I had the soup seafood chowder it was great. My wife had chicken marcela she liked it. I am glad we came back and tryed again it was great meal.

All I ordered was the French onion soup and a soda… I’ve been here for almost 20 minutes and just got my drink. My waitress sounded either high or asleep and spent the majority of her time talking to a group at table next to mine. Ugh! Never again!

Larry’s is a hit or a miss. Their breakfast food is not bad at all and I absolutely love their café food, especially their crepes! Yummy! Not a fan of their lunch or dinner selections.

Lived nearby for 20 years. First time eating here. They spent a lot of money completely redoing the interior and exterior. The restaurant is very nicely done. My wife and I both had the soup and salad bar(unlimited refills). The salad bar was clean and well stocked. The staff were constantly adding food and cleaning. The food was good — nothing special. Same for the soup. The staff were all very friendly and our waitress was very attentive and polite. The owners were constantly working the front and back of the house. This is a very well run restaurant. There is a very nice café in the front where you can have various coffees and pastries. It is very nicely decorated and a much needed café for this area. They do a big breakfast & lunch business here and are more noted for that vs. dinner. It is BYOB so you can drink the wine you enjoy without a steep markup.

Solid diner-style joint. Have been to a number of events here over the years. The banquet facilities are fine for large groups, but service is nothing special. I think of Larry’s as a breakfast joint. Lunch and dinner offers nothing that can’t be had better elsewhere. Breakfast is pretty good. On the weekends they run a buffet. It is well-stocked with eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, blintzes, potatoes, and other foods. It’s a decent deal if you come with an appetite.

Larry’s has recently made some HUGE improvements to it’s décor and has added a SUPER nice coffee bar to the restaurant. Knocked my socks off when I walked in. Larry’s SMOKES any of the local coffee houses in ambiance. Ample seating, lots of natural light and free wi-fi. I’ve only had their coffee once and it was tasty… Dinner menu is essentially the same, as is the salad bar. Larry’s is a pretty good choice for families if you want to avoid a chain restaurant. There’s plenty of choices for the kids, which nowadays goes a long way for me. I can’t be quite the food-snob I used to be. I like Larry’s soups and apps, but I still have a hard time finding an entrée that suits my palate. I just can’t get into food that revolves around a. meat or b. something fried. I wish they had more healthy choices besides just the salad bar. But that’s m’kay, cause I’m cool with hitting Larry’s for coffee and dessert, which is what they do best.
