Fresh quality meats. Some of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Go during the week because the crowds in this place can be unbearable on the weekends.

This had been my go-to butcher, but there was always a problem. First, no one there knows what a tri-tip roast is. I have brought in documentation to no avail. It seems to me a butcher should be able to get a specific cut for a customer. Secondly, while they sell good-looking Delmonicos, trying to get a proper bone-in ribeye(the same cut but with the bone) has been problematic. This is about the simplest cut from the cow. I get a wonderful piece of beef, but it is essentially a one-bone standing rib roast. Nevertheless, I love the fresh chickens, which are usually $ 0.99/lb. They are willing to cut from the primal for me, which is much appreciated. I know whole hog can be had here. Fresh turkeys at Thanksgiving need to be ordered ahead of time. Marcacci’s is solid. It is convenient to me, so I use it. I now compare prices with Joe’s Butcher Shop in Norma.
