Best Asian food I have ever had! The beef skewers were to die for and cooked to perfection. We also had beef lo mein, shrimp rolls and chicken curry. I was surprised to find Asian food this good on an the island in the off-season. Even better it was attached to our hotel. We will be back!

Enjoyed lunch and the indoor pool at the Mansion. Pleasantly surprised at the décor as well as food and service. Really enjoyed General Gau chicken dish. All white meat and not heavy batter, just as stated on menu. Very fresh veggies too! Was told by locals sushi is very good but didn’t try this time. Won ton soup was good on this rainy day!

You’re not going to find anything authentic here, but the quality of the food/meat is pretty good(no grease or grisly bits here), as are the flavors. The coconut chicken curry is surprisingly quite spicy for a place that caters to the typical American palate, which I wasn’t expecting and didn’t really personally enjoy, but others at the table enjoyed their own entrees, and the crab rangoons were fried nicely and full of crab. Not terribly expensive, especially considering usual Vineyard prices. Overall, a decent choice when you’re craving Asian-ish flavors.

I love this place, only a few blocks from my house. I stick with the sushi(hand rolls) and the specials are always good. Nice selection of sake, and such a nice atmosphere. JB the owner also has 3 other restaurants on the island but Copper Wok is my favorite

I give it three stars because the manager is super friendly and nice. Two stars if it was just food quality. I love Asian food and frequently eat it, so I was excited to try Asian on the island. Everyone in my party agreed it wasn’t the best Chinese food we’ve ever had and not the worst. They were surprisingly busy when we went there so eating there was fun atleast. I got the chicken and broccoli and I thought mine was good just a little heavy and bland on the sauce. Another member of my party mentioned his vegetables didn’t even taste cooked but I didn’t experience that. Whatever you do, don’t get the hot and sour soup. It was weirdly vinegary. The only thing good about it was the big chunks of tofu inside.

At first I thought this food was good until my boyfriend got really sick. He ordered a sushi platter and I had a piece of two, this is how we knew it was the sushi. About half an hour after leaving the restaurant our stomachs started to hurt, mine only a little but my boyfriend got really sick. Within an hour he was unable to keep the meal down. So unless you want to see your food again, don’t go there.

This place looks beautiful but has the absolute worst chinese food and fried rice I have ever had in my 50 years of living! No meat, flavor and rice not even cooked properly. Save your money(food is pricey) and avoid this place at all costs! Wish I could get my money back!!! None of us enjoyed our food.

We were looking for Chinese in Vineyard Haven and were delighted to find this panAsian restaurant. Ordered the fried dumplings which was delish! The other app we got was an entrée of fried softshell crab on slaw all on naan. The crab was crispy but we had to eat fast given the glaze on top and slaw on the bottom… the naan was almost completely sodden. I ordered the highly successful sesame beef; we devoured it. Yum! My daughter and husband ordered pork dishes that were sooo similar that someone should have warned us… I guess the wait staff doesn’t know the menu offerings well enough to guide anyone. It’s unfortunate since this place holds so much promise.

Bad food and overpriced, even for Martha’s Vineyard. If you’re looking for a place with cuisine that barely rivals the Chinese food they sell in the decaying urban neighborhoods, this is the place for you. Also, if you’re looking to pay extra for white rice, something that nearly every other Chinese food place in the world includes with their meals, this is also the place for you. Two stars because its beautiful and the customer service is good.

Solid. The last time I went, really enjoyed the food and conversation. This place contributes well to the tiny Vineyard pantheon of «ethnic» food restaurants.

First off, I apologize to the Copper Wok for showing up in shorts, t-shirt and sneakers. They acted like they didn’t notice, thank you. We had just arrived on island with bikes and were starving. Warm welcome, AC, beer, and sake made us get into vacation mode right away. The sushi roll(Copper roll, I believe) was pricy for the size and the roll was a bit loose, but the quality and taste combination was good. The tofu dish(General ??) with broccoli was amazing. I am going to figure out how to master the crispy outside with the melty, velvety inside, but I don’t think I can make a sauce as delicious. The steamed broccoli was fresh and cooked to perfection.

We were staying at Mansion House. Several guide books indicate they felt this was above average chinese food and really notable sushi. One of the appetizers we ordered was not available so instead we got the avocado salad and it was really, really good. I ordered a few sushi rolls which were also on par with what I expected and tasty. My Mom ordered the shrimp bok choy and it was just kind of bleh-while the vegetables were fresh she said there wasn’t any flavor really. Maybe there are other notable dishes. The service was okay not excellent and not awful-My main advice was someone needs to teach the severs when they have cocktails to not look at the tray while they walk. We got a dessert which was tasty but not mind-blowing. I feel like the Copper Walk is swinging for the fences but not quite making it over the big green wall in Fenway. The décor is really nice but I care less about that and more about food quality.

We decided to have dinner at Copper Wok, since it was next door to our hotel. We received five star service from our waiter! He had great recommendations on what would pair well with our food(it was spot on), and also offered to bring out the noodles for the kids along with our appetizers. About the food: The drinks were spectacular(I had the Wok of Shame, and then the Tiananmen Square). The Crab Rangoons were the best I’ve had in a long time, fried crispy, with generous amounts of crab in them. We also had the Fried Pork Dumpling, and they tasted fresh and as if they were home made! Our entrees were Shrimp Lo Mein(made with thinner noodles, light and non-greasy, very good), Chicken Curry(this was flavored and cooked perfectly), and Beef Curry. Of course the company you are with also affects the experience.

I love Chinese food and was really hoping for a great meal given the price point. The pan fried pork dumplings were pretty good, but the lo mein was rather bland and flavorless. The general’s chicken was not spicy and was ok at best. We had a scorpion bowl that I doubt any any alcohol in it, which is not usually the case wih those drinks. The only thing that I really liked was the roasted pork moo shu.

A nice interior décor and tasteful updating from the restaurant’s previous incarnation as Zephrus. I don’t recall exactly when the transition happened. Sorry to say that I was severely unimpressed with my choice of chicken skewers as my main meal, which came in only three sticks, with larger meat portions than your average equivalent at another restaurant, and an overly syrupy, extreme teriyaki sauce. The person I was eating with also found their sushi offering to be negatively atypical and not worth the effort. I hear good things about some of their other food offerings, but I’m not sure I will be back after that first impression.

Very good — enormous portions. Recommend the fried rice & lo mein. There is no kids menu, but the lovely server helped to recommend alterations to the regular menu that would appeal to picky eaters and it was a great success! Beautiful décor — spa like. Very small dessert menu, but what they had was excellent. Only draw back is that they don’t take reservations… Making this restaurant very difficult to get into«on season». Try for off times(early dinner).

I was taken to Copper Wok for my birthday dinner and I was very pleased. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We shared the«saktail» Sake it to me, which was served in a festive bowl of a glass. For appetizers we had Pot Stickers and Fried Calamari. Both were great, the calamari was particularly good. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their specialty sushi rolls.

I didn’t expect authentic Chinese because it’s the Vineyard, and because it’s by the same group behind Sharky’s. Sharky’s is to Mexican as Copper Wok is to Chinese. Expect something similar to PF Chang’s. Service: 2 stars. We came in at 2pm for a light lunch and the place was pretty empty. Service was unusually slow, especially for an Asian restaurant. We ordered crab rangoons, veggie shu mai, spare ribs, wonton soup, char siu pork noodles, and the Martha’s Vineyard sushi roll. There was a 15+ min gap between appetizers and noodle stir fry. We asked the waitress if they’d forgotten the rest of our order and she acted like the big gap was typical. Also, the tea was lukewarm and I never got a refill on hot water. Food: 3 stars. The veggie shu mai were probably weakest. The crab rangoons were mostly fried wonton with not much filling and the dipping sauce for the rangoons tasted like McDonald’s sweet & sour sauce. However, the sushi was decent and the char siu pork tasted the way it should. Overall, an acceptable meal and I’ve certainly had worse Chinese food in the suburbs of Massachusetts.

MORETROUBLETHANIT’S WORTH, WITH A HORRIBLEHOSTAND A CRAZYNUMBEROFRULESTOGETSEATED. This place looked promising but left us disappointed, due to the host’s inability to seat us because we were a party of two.(They didn’t want to take up any of the MANY four person tables available. I mean, we passed by two empty tables walking in.) They also don’t take reservations. So we were told it would be about 30 mins; we could wait at the bar, BUT, would have to order substantial appetizers. Sigh. So we did, and the sushi was great, but then we were uprooted to go to a *surprise* four person table. I guess they decided a flood of four people parties was unlikely by now. So we moved, and ordered again, even though we were now pretty full and should have just left. Our food came and the Chinese offerings were all really salty; sushi was again excellent. The lesson here: Say you’re a party of three if you want to be seated without starving or playing musical chairs; order the sushi, not the Chinese; and try and resist punching the overly-chipper moron host in the face.

It’s about time Vineyard Haven has a real Asian /Chinese /Sushi place to dine. Always busy from the day it opened, Copper Wok has hit the ground running and was a grand slam last evening. Dinner with my son, we ordered up a plate of Triple Spicy Combo that was a combo of Spicy Tuna, Spicy Yellowtail and Spicy Salmon. We continued to dine on Chicken Finger, Chicken Wings, Pork Fried Rice and an order of Crispy Beef with Sesame. We didn’t have a drink but in a beer and wine town the menu of Saktails, beer and wine will sure make a return visit with friends and family a must to partake of. We didn’t wait at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night but the restaurant was packed. Our service was spot on and the new restaurant on Main Street is stunning inside with all the finer things done right. I’ll return many times.
