We’ve been coming to this kids’ bookstore since our now 10-year-old began to read. Zoe, the owner, has gotten to know our kids and has saved us immense amounts of time as she recommends books she knows they would like and, more importantly, steers them away from what they would dislike. Her recommendations carry infinitely more weight than ours! Her knowledge is impressive, her selection spot-on, and her dedication admirable. Highly recommended (and certainly better than the generic kids’ section at the Bunch of Grapes across the street, although their adult stuff is top-notch).

I came here with my four niblings (ages 9 – 13) who absolutely loved the store. It’s much larger than it initially appears, and we ended up spending more than an hour perusing the shelves and chilling out in the various bean-bag chairs throughout the store. Since we were there in the pre-season, there wasn’t much open on the island, and the bookstore owner took a great deal of time speaking to us about different ideas to pass our rainy days. She definitely knows kids and kids’ books, so definitely make time to stop in to browse the new releases and classics.
