The food is great and the people are very nice. All homemade stuff!!! Definitely a good stop for eats and souvenirs before Zion. The burger was amazing with their homemade BBQ sauces. The Buffalo burger was okay and the regular burger was amazing with their homemade BBQ sauces.

A total tourist trap for sure but it was still worth the stop and still fun. They have a small petting zoo thing but we declined. We did look around the place and saw plenty of interesting nick knacks. Saw a pack of AA batteries for sale that expired back in 2008 for the low price of $ 3.99. Got a bite to eat in the restaurant and was actually surprised on how good the food was. Fresh made burger with a homemade bun. They have a «vary old» player piano going that’s is kinda fun too. This place is good for kids and good for a quick stop to grab a bite.

Always a treat! We go there every time we visit Utah! The kids love it. Yummy ice cream. The kids get to feed the animals. Interesting gift items and candy selection. The staff is always top notch in service! We highly recommend stoping here if you are in the area!

We got two burger«specials» and it’ll easily fed 3 to 4 people. Burgers were sooo good! Homemade ice cream and fries were excellent too! Really fun place and people were nice. Great place to go with kids. 4 homemade individual ice cream scoops and two burger specials cost us about $ 24

Yummy!!! We enjoyed feeding ourselves and the animals in the petting area. For us, I had the quarter pound burger, fries, drink special for $ 6.99. My man had the steak dinner which he enjoyed. Then we fed the animals carrots.

Pet friendly patio covered with solar shade. The patio had overhanging grapevines laden with grapes surrounded by water misters. a respite from the 110 degree heat and not to mention the unmatched view and friendly staff. We had beef and buffalo burgers shared between me and my cousin. The bread was homemade, the meat — excellent and juicy with a tinge of sweetness. Finish off the meal with some homemade ice cream. A good size meal after a day of hiking. It was worth it.

So… Something got mixed up big time and we waited an hour to get our food… Saw several people frustrated and get refunds after waiting an hour… But, service was great. People are nice. Not sure i would stop by to eat again, but the petting farm part was cute and definitely worth stopping by! $ 1 entrance to the petting part and 3 carrots for $ 1. Cute buildings to take pictures in.

Charming & almost too cute for words. After a day of exploring Zion we were starving & I remembered passing by this very curb appealing place on our way to the park. It’s so charming from the street that it’s almost impossible not to want to stop by and check it out. It’s décor is old & charming with a fun twist and when you walk in you’re greeted by an older lady who makes you feel right at home. After walking around for a few minutes and checking out the gift shop we chose to eat the special which was prickly pear BBQ ribs with fries & a south west salad and an Indian bread with buffalo chili and all sorts of other great toppings. I’ve always wanted to try Indian bread! The ribs were tender & sweet, the salad had the best homemade ranch dressing ever and the fries were bomb! Now for the Indian bread! It was hot, crispy, and fluffy inside! Loved it. The service was also spectacular and these folks make you feel so welcome. After a long day of the outdoors this was the perfect stop on our way home. They also make homemade desserts such as incredible ice cream and we had to try the prickly pear & Zion nuts which had rum in it! Wow! Both tasted fantastic! I decided to take some homemade banana bread & enjoyed it the next day. Prices are cheap here & it’s so worth the stop :) We loved it…

We went to this place because of other reviews… DONOTWASTEYOUR $$$! We took our son and his family. Between us all, we ordered Buffalo Chile(awful), The Duke burgers and fries(hamburgers were mushy and over priced), even the kids didn’t like the fries… my husband and I got the ‘End of season special’ which was pork ribs, potato, salad, and toasted hamburger buns. We agreed that ‘End of season’ apparently meant the ribs had been cooking ALL season… driest ribs EVER! Salad wasn’t even good… how do you mess up salad? Overpriced and very underwhelming food. Only 1 high chair in the place(already being used), which made things more difficult with 1&2 yr olds. Bottom-line, pay the $ 1 per person to take pix of the kids in front of the cute buildings… and hang onto your $$ to eat elsewhere.

What can I say about Fort Zion… Well, if you want good food at a decent price I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere… The food is overpriced and mediocre at best. The burgers are like meatloaf(the bad kind of meatloaf mind you) and are greasy as can be. The ribs were as dry as the climate in the area and the buffalo chili was comparable to buffalo chips… We didn’t even want to try the ice cream since we had initially come to the place due to the reviews about the food… I could have let some of it slide had the price of the food not been so ridiculous. The burgers were Red Robin prices but more along the lines of Burger King quality… Although I would have preferred a Whopper to the Duke… The only bright spot was the petting zoo and buildings they have. Those were fun and worth the dollar admission. Don’t waste your money on the food though. Just go somewhere else for that!

Don’t miss this place! A great journey through the Old West! Dee and Andy, the owners, know how to treat their visitors. Whether you’re looking for Native American jewelry, Old West memorabilia, or great food in their restaurant, you can’t go wrong! Gotta stop here on your way in to, or out of. Zion National Park!

5 stars for homemade food(like grandma’s cooking), friendly feels-like-family service, & price. Beware of huge portions! We loved it so much we went there 2 days in a row for dinner. 1st night we had 24oz baby back ribs(seriously could’ve fed 3), &BBQ chicken. All delicious! The homemade BBQ sauce made with cactus pear, onion ranch dressing & homemade ice creams were awesome. We tried the cactus pear ice cream, wild huckleberry, & even vanilla apple pie ice creams. 2nd night, we had fried chicken(way better than any KFC!) & buffalo burger. Yes, real buffalo meat! That was my husband’s favorite. Very family friendly place. Owners Andy & Dee are so genuinely friendly & welcoming! There’s gift shop, petting zoo for just $ 1, & cute Wild West set up great for pics. Don’t miss checking it out, especially if you have kids! We will make it a Zion tradition when we come back.

Billy the kid burger was ok. My husband and kids tried the Taste of the West which includes buffalo, elk, mountain oyster, rattle snake and antelope. Boys LOVE it. And the homemade ice cream was a treat. I like the prickly pear(cactus).
