Do not shop/​park here! I parked in 2 hour parking and was towed in less than 30 minutes from their garage. «Security» who was also not present at any time, claimed we went to the beach, so they towed my vehicle. Continue to give me run around with no one willing to help or listen without transferring me to another voicemail box which never gets returned. Oh, did I mention they also called the towing service who was recently sued and lost for illegal practices (like towing service men and women) who also damaged my vehicle during this whole situation.

There are several shops in a close radius. Most are overpriced. You can find a few bargains if you look around.

No complaints just high price merchandise. Not your average beach shopping. A $ 100 dollar shirt at 50 percent off is still too rich for most.

On a recent 4 day trip to Virginia Beach we ate here 3 days! Coming from Northern Virginia, I’m accustomed to smaller portions and higher prices when ordering fresh crab. The crab and avocado appetizer was outstanding. As were the oysters and steamed shrimp.
The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable with great personalities. No matter how crowded the place was they all seemed to be in the flow.
Highly recommend it – especially if you want to listen to the outdoor evening concerts at the pavilion next door.
Why a 4 instead of a 5? No fault of the restaurant, but the flies were pretty awful at the outside tables.

LOCATION: So walking through Va Beach we noticed that around 20th St is very trashy, dirty, tacky and closer to North Beach is much cleaner and newer. One part that we like is near the Hilton hotel and Neptune Park and right across is 31 Ocean.
ATMOSPHERE: There are boutique shops (Moorea, The Globe), another Jody’s Popcorn, Starbucks, Blimpie, Haagen Dazs, gift shop, etc. We ate at a restaurant called Soya which was good. (Review posted separately). All shops are on the periphery of the complex and on the top floors and interior is the parking garage.
PERKS: Patrons of the shops get validated parking.
CONCLUSION: I would come back here again… I just wish there were more stores to explore!
