I’ve been popping into this 7 – 11 off and on for about 20 years and it’s always been decent in my opinion. It has the normal layout however the aisle’s are a bit on the narrow side.
However, one evening back in the 90’s I had stopped here to buy some beer and I I met Macho Man Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. I’m pretty sure it was around 1995. WCW was in town for a PPV at Scope and they were headed out on the town the evening before. Randy was really cool, spoke normally instead of his ‘wrasling voice’ signed a quick autograph while Hogan just walked by and ignored everyone. By God the dude was tall.

These people get to see me early every Sunday Morning while I’m enroute to Norfolk International Airport. This is my stop for cash… because for the last 10 years, I’ve somehow forgotten to stop at a SunTrust ATM the night before (and avoid the ATM fees).
If you have ever been to a 7 Eleven before, then you’ve been here. Nothing new to see here, please walk on by.
The staff is friendly, one dude pretty much knows me by name by now. One of these days I’ll surprise him and actually buy something at this unGawdly hour of the morning. He always seems in good spirits, though. Strangely good for that evil hour of the morning.

I already know what to expect prior to coming in 7 – 11 but I must purchase a money order this instant apparently…
After standing in line for an eternity, a young kid ahead of me asked for a job application. They told him to come back tomorrow at noon, poor kid, the struggle just to work at 7 – 11 NO THANKS.
MY TURN– Hi can I have a money order for $ 36,plz?
7−11− Our machine is broke.

Well two nights two stories… first night getting some beverages the clerk cut herself while opening a package of lighters. She began bleeding and said good thing I got my shots, ew. Her little hand blood and all reached into the drawer and got our change wow.
Night two not as exciting we needed more beverages I walk to the counter with 2 24oz beverages and flash my id he wants to see my girlfriends (at the time) too lame. She’s 25 I was carrying them and paying just seemed annoying. I get the point but still.
On a more helpful note gas price’s here were the cheapest around.
