Anytime Fitness

I’ve been a member of this place for about 3 months now. I love it! Keep in mind, this is a tiny gym. They don’t have a pool or gymnasium. What it does have is a super convenient 24-​hour location! They do have restrooms and a shower room. This facility is kept spotless. During the day I always see a staff-​member continuously cleaning. They have all you’d ever need for weight equipment. Most of the aerobic machines have TV screens on them, in case that’s what you like to do while you workout. The music they play in here is awesome, timeless rock etc. Never cheesy or overly faddish.
The personal trainers that work here exceeded my expectations! They are super positive and make you look forward to them kicking your butt. Right now I’m with Dave. He really has a understanding of every exercise’s impact on my desired end result. The staff is also super friendly.
Classes are a bit limited and very small. Yoga on Monday and Zumba on Wednesday @ 6pm. These are exactly what I was looking for, so I don’t mind, but others might. Unfortunately, the floor in their aerobic room is overdue for a replacement, but it still works for now.

Okay, I haven’t been to this gym… BUT I did call them today to get more information on it. The first turn off and I should have hung up there was that the woman that answered the phone when I called wasn’t overly helpful. If they aren’t even interested in being a little more helpful on the phone, I’m going to venture to guess that you won’t get much help in the gym. I asked how much a membership was and she hemmed and hawed a second… long enough to tell me that the membership fees were different depending. Depending on what? Well, depending on if there is a deal going on or what I was looking for. She said I would have to come in and then someone could discuss it with me. I then asked if there was a contract. She stated that there is indeed a 12 month contract. I cannot imagine getting stuck in a contract with a business that doesn’t really express any interest in a caller. I don’t know about the other locations except for Red Mill where my daughter goes and she seems to like that location, but this location, well… I wouldn’t waste my time with someone that had little to no interest in anything but getting off of the phone.
On that note, look for a review about NB Natural Bodyz gym about a half a mile away which is also a 24 hour gym. I plan on calling tomorrow and hope that they will be interested enough to piqué my interest on the phone that I’ll want to go in and find out more about it.
