Terrible hookah. We had to tell the girl how to make it(one think she was very open to suggestions and she tried her best), horrible over priced«cheap» drinks, and scary not so friendly hosts and costumers. Perfect location they could have done a lot of stuff. Disappointed. Would give it a second chance if they change the whole stuff and make it upscale.

Last review. Thought this place would get better. Still awful. Got into it with some random ratchet trash because she and my husband bumped into each other on accident. I felt out of place. The cover charge needs to be $ 5 because this place has the ambiance of a whole in the wall except it actually doesn’t look like it. I should’ve turned around when I saw the type of people walking in. Thugs and thots. And security looked like prison guards. Never again.

I use to go out quite a bit, but not so much. The problem I have with this place is, like so many so called upscale clubs in this area, is they allow the men to come in, looking like they are going to wash their clothes, while most of the women are nicely dressed. If you allow people to come in and look like they don’t care, then more often than not they will act the same way. There needs to be a certain standard the clientele need to meet, just like the club needs to deliver the type of atmosphere the cover charge, the food and yes security is of the utmost importance. The shooting that happened outside the club is a by product of the type of people who may be allowed to come.

I’m not from VA. Came here on vacation and wanted to see the night life. First off no one was nicely dressed the night i was here. It seems like no one in the spot had a real job based on the dress code. Had to go thru a metal detector and security dress like swat. Bad sign. I went on a Friday night. The place looks ok. They were definitely trying to look upscale. Clients on the other hand look like they were planning to either rob u or sell u weed. The dj in both rooms cant play. I left after one beer. To much stripper music. I know we are down south but dam… rotate the music. If you r over 30 and a young professional that’s not the spot for you. I luv hip hop as much as the next guy but I don’t need to hear it all night. Not one good looking nubian queen in the spot.

Aqua is an ok spot and i do mean ok. I went here with a couple of fiends and has an ok time. Nothing special about this place. One side is smoking the other is non. The only things were i wasnt quite sure of the quality of the drinks. I ordered a crown and coke and was quite sure if it was crown or not.

They hv a children’s event going on inside… if you hv wild kids this is where they need to be! This a nightclub, but some of the promoters decided to throw a family friendly event. It was just ok. I guess they did the best they could. But my guess is that this was there first«family friendly event.» The club itself it’s pretty nice. The set up is chic and up to date. On Friday night, the crowd is rather young mostly Africian American. On Saturday night, it’s a mature crowd and the DJ varies, the music is just ok. They seem to rotate Djs or they leave… not sure which of the two. But the vibe has definitely sucken since it’s opening almost 2 years ago. I wouldn’t count them out, but to try them, you may like it.

It’s a great atmosphere, there’s places to sit, medium sized dance floor, cigar bar section separate from the club no extra charge(for those who smoke), pool tables, plenty parking, VIP sections, and huge TVs. Their chicken winglets are addicting! Friday nights are more for the younger crowd, packed, dashing and lively people, hip hop/dancehall/little bit of old school, chicken is off the hook. Saturdays are more relaxed its not super packed so you can enjoy a nice girls night out. More old school/hiphop/r&b. On Sundays you can enjoy great happy hour specials from 1 — 9pm. They have huge TVs and projectors to watch different games simultaneously.

I’ve been here about 3 times. * First time great. Nicely dressed Men and women. Gd music. *2nd was on a Sunday. Wear what u want. Went to the cigar room cause no one was on the other side. Reggae played all night. Which was fine w me. *3rd time which was last night. $ 15 cover. Ok amount of ppl. All the women were dressed. All the men besides 4 were dressed in t-shirt, jeans, and gym shoes! I did not like that. The first time I went it wasn’t like that. IF I went back I would wear my casual everyday clothes. The DJ was gd. No talking over music. Pretty gd assortment of music played

Clean and intimate-like atmosphere. The age group gears towards the mature audiences; you have to be 25 years old to enter the lounge. The drinks were fantastic; reasonable pricing at the bar. The type of music were mostly Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae. Even though I felt out of place(because I was trying something new«hint: i do country music and latin sounds, so this was wayyyyyyy out of my comfort zone») but it had nothing to do with the location/atmosphere. They have a medium sized dance floor. They have white couches to lounge around, open floor plan, restrooms were cleaned, the DJ was fun. The customers/patrons were civil and nice. Great crowd. Now, there were a couple of things I did not like. The cover charge is extremely expensive $ 20/person. That was an eye opener. :) Another con was that the DJ was playing great music but constantly kept fading the music to hear himself talk on the mic. I can see the DJ needing to intervene but there were people dancing and every time I thought I had a move going, I lost my rhythm because the music would fade out to allow the DJ to talk. He’s a very talkative DJ. *DISLIKE* Let the people enjoy the song. Other than that, I gave it a 4, even though I wouldnt come back for multiple reasons: cover charge, annoying DJ, location(took me 40 mins to get there). Hey, if Hip/Hop, R&B, Reggae is your«thang», then do you. This is a great spot to check out. It’s just not up my alley. But I can now say that I know how to dance to some caribbean/jamaican dance moves, hahaha. I think a few of the patron felt pity for me(i think I was the only hispanic on the scene) hahaha so they jumped in to help me get the«music». Great people. :)
