Bonney & Sons Seafood and Produce

While on vacation on the beach, I wanted fresh seafood. Stopped here three times to grab various fish fillets and shellfish. Not only that, they had some fresh fruit from the local area which turned out fabulous! The fish was great. Very friendly staff and good prices for seafood!

This little business recently moved locations since a new Harris Teeter was built right next to their old location. It worked out great for me since Bonney and Sons is now about two miles closer to my house.
Their blue crabs and shrimp always come from the Chesapeake Bay or the Carolinas. This does mean that you will pay a steeper price but you are paying for quality and freshness.
I stopped buying imported seafood a few years ago since you have no idea how a lot of it is raised or harvested. Its either not sustainable or it comes from large fish farms where the shrimp and other critters are raised in filthy conditions and then pumped full of antibiotics to keep them alive until they reach a harvestable size.
No thanks.
I’d rather pay for the quality I get here.
