Cox was already my last choice as a cable provider; however, they are the only choice for high speed internet in my new development. All I had to do was return a cable modem. Plain & simple… Bring the modem in and update the account. I arrived at the Cox Store and there was a 35 minute wait. There must be a more efficient way to process customers’ returns. Very unimpressed with the level of effort that this company had put forth.

Walked in at 9:10 a. m and there were 2 greeters, 1 lady working and 10 people waiting. I had to pick up a Digital mini box and chose the option to pick it up at the store to expedite the process. What a mistake! I should have had it mailed to the house, which was an option. I must admit, the phone customer service is always good, but experiences at Cox Solution Stores are horrible. It’s very similar to an experience at the DMV.

I’m glad I only had to go to this store to return my modem. The wait was terrible. The staff ignored the customers and just talked amongst themselves. It was not a good feeling as a customer to feel just basically ignored.

The employee of this COX are poor customer service SCAMMERS. I had rent a wi-fi modem for 1 month and I wanna purchase it on the next month but I want to pay it monthly, like layaway. I went to the store that is close to Lynnhaven Mall and met that rude, ignorant lady. Her face is like she just went to a funeral or something. No smiles at all, talk like reading a book, look at the screen for the whole time… Anyways, I told her directly like this: «I have a rental Wi-Fi modem, now I want to purchase it but I want to pay it monthly.» She didn’t say nothing, but nod her head. Since I’m not a native English speaker, I wanted to make sure she got what I was saying, I asked her one more time: So… I am paying for the modem monthly, right? She just kept nodding her head like a broken robot, and so I assume it means that she got it… About half month later, the next bill arrived. It showed that the Wi-Fi modem is in FULL amount so I went to the store again and ask that same lady why. She kept saying that paying monthly is rental. Since I said I wanna purchase it, I have to pay the full amount. I kept explaining to her that I understand what rental means, and now I’m buying it but I just want to pay it monthly. I just can’t use my whole day to let her make me feel like I am an idiot, so I tell her: «If you wanna buy a car, you don’t have all the money now, so you want to pay it monthly, that’s still means you are PURCHASING the car, right???» Then she tell me: Oh we don’t do that. Honestly I’ve asked my native English speaker co-workers and friends that do they understand: «I want to purchase it, but I wanna pay it monthly». They ALL understand. Well, one of them say that I could say I wanna break down the payment so it sounds more clear. YET, that lady could’ve ask me to explain more if she was not clear. She probably just wanna cover her butt of her ignoring me when I first tell her of what I wanted to do so she was trying to take advantage of my race(Chinese), and try to act like I don’t understand the differences between rental and purchase. Finally I have to pay that freaking $ 140 something in full amount since the 30 days return policy was over. They are THIEVES. I mean that’s not a big money but that is just not I was planning to do. They will also take advantage of you because of your race. DON’T LETTHESERACISTRATSSCAMYOU!!!

most offensive customer support. disregards how other may feel or even listen to what has to be said. I understand you cannot give me any technical support. but I was not expecting to be hung up on twice after being rude and distasteful. truly a disgrace to customer support

No line. They are friendly and super fast. This location is convenient. Restaurants and shops… You can kill two birds with one stone;)

Friendly enough and there was no line so we were served immediately when we arrived to exchange our non-working cable box for one that would hopefully work. But this seems like a pretty decent place to wait if there was a long line — wifi, a couple of computers and televisions up as demonstration models and plenty of seating.
