Degrill Jamaica

Five stars on very first visit to tucked away spot. I splurged, got the coco bread and beef pattie. Curry chicken snak-​pak with potatoe salad as side 1 and rice and peas as side 2. The potatoe salad is tasty better than in grocery stores. Also got the curry goat Degrill special with Mac n cheese as side 1 and rice and peas as side 2. A snak-​pak is a small Degrill special is a medium. Couldn’t leave without getting dessert. Got the bread pudding. It was delicious but I don’t care for the raisins. Wanted to take pictures but after the first bite I wasn’t going to stop eating to do so. So if pictures appear on hear, take that as me returning for seconds.

You want to talk about a good meal? This is the place to start the conversation with. I don’t know how I’ve passed this place for so long and never heard anyone talk about it. The outside signage is not as colorful or bright as the other neighboring businesses, but it’s clearly marked. There’s normally only 1 person at the counter so I highly recommend that you call your order in and give them about 20 minutes to prepare your food. If you have to wait there, they have a few tables and you can order a beef or chicken patty while you wait. You won’t be disappointed.
I have had both the jerk and curry chicken and I think they are both phenomenal. The jerk chicken has a unique smokey flavor that reminds me of how jerk is made on the islands. The curry is oh so good, but if you add some sweet plantains its incredible! The mac & cheese was just ok for me. It had a lot of spices in it which was different but it complemented the jerk chicken well. The rice and peas are perfect and the cocobread is soft and the serving size is generous. I get the DeGrill size of everything and its more than enough for 2 servings.
This place is truly a diamond in the rough.

The customer service is good, but their food is better!!! My daughter keeps asking me to go back for their wings, whereas I had the Jerk Chicken. Also, very affordable!!!

Great food here. jerk chicken wrap hands down will not disappoint. Beef patties are always fresh and tasty if your in the area do yourself service and stop by tell them Aaron sent you.

Smaller place, great food. Fresh. Ashton is serious about providing a great meal to keep you coming back. He serves only the best items. Sometimes the wait is abit longer but, worth it. Enjoy your meal and relaxing atmosphere. Be careful not to pass it by… in a small strip center.
