Chicken nachos, asparagas, Cuban chicken, chile relleano, casa filet, crabcake and Castro’s key lime were all delicious. For 3 of us we ordered 5 tapas and had lots left over. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and made a great recommendation for drinks. I would absolutely go here again next time I’m in the area!

Went here on the spur of the moment and so glad I did! I had the goat cheese stuffed peppers and nearly licked the plate! I had the flank steak which was delicious and way more than I could eat!

I went there on a Tuesday for BOGOF and the atmosphere is pretty relax and chill. I did not really like the attention because we were seated and the greeter after he sat us down and even though we ask for a high chair went to another table before we could even get the high chair. Also I believe we were supposed to get bread and butter at the beginning which we did not, but saw other tables get it. The food is pretty good… we ordered Ropa Vieja and Paella. the flavors were pretty good but I think the pricing is a little bit to high. My Ropa Vieja did not come with plantains or maduros. that would be a side order. The food was pretty good, and being that it was Tuesday, buy one get one free, then it was ok. Dessert was great, we order the cheesecake, and I might say it is better then the Cheesecake factory. Overall the food was good, had a lot of flavor, a little pricey, but good. Service was ok.

My absolute favorite dinner spot, my husband and I go every week, sometimes twice! You can order anything on the menu and be so happy you came here. Also Best nachos around, not just your typical nachos! Also don’t forget to ask for their homemade hotsauce, To die for and it changes weekly. They also make a homemade butter with their bread that changes as well. Great place I highly recommend it!

Havana is simply amazing. The food and drinks are perfect in every way. The atmosphere is relaxing and very inviting and the service is always top notch. I personally love going on Tuesday nights for the BOGO free entrée deal. The Paella de Playa is my favorite entrée followed closely by the Pork Osso Bucco. Both are super delicious and offer you a taste of Cuba! Overall, Havana is a great place to grab a drink after work with a group of friends and it is also a great place to have a quiet sit-down dinner with your family and friends. Havana definitely has a lot to offer and is definitely worth checking out!

After discussing a trip to Havana, my husband and I finally made it for dinner last week. We were blown away. The food is authentic, and the drinks are strong. Our server was very attentive, and made great suggestions for both appetizers and entrees. The atmosphere is cosy, while also being true to the Havana name. It is a must for both locals and tourists alike.

This has been one of our go-to places for 5 or so years now. The service is always good and attentive and never pushy or rushed. The food has always hit the mark and on most occasions goes well above. The atmosphere is fun, extremely inviting, and very much tailored to adults. With lively conversation, the place does have a tendency to get a bit loud, but that’s simply part of the experience as this is indeed a hot spot. They have some beers on tap that get changed out from time to time, and they’ll sometimes include local microbrews. My mom enjoys their sangria offerings, especially the red raspberry one in particular. She never complains about a weak drink, and will often comment on how tasty and strong it is. I’ve only had a gin and ginger here from time to time, using whatever is in the well and I’ve had no complaints. The Food! Everything that we have tried here has been great. The Ropa Vieja is to die for and is seasoned to such perfection that I get the warm and fuzzies just thinking about it. My mother typically enjoys the petit fillet which she says is always cooked exactly as requested, and tasty and tender. The fish tacos come in a few different varieties. I’ve had the fried tuna, and blackened tuna offerings and enjoyed both. The pork burrito is quite large and bursting with flavor. It’s certainly a knife and fork ordeal. The chicken nachos are a real hit when we have more people with us. It’s a huge pile of nachos topped with pulled chicken, beans, guac, cheese, and other various goodies. If you fear you may not be able to conquer this mountain of appetite quenching enjoyment, they do offer a half nachos plate. Tostones are a must for us. They’re twice fried plantains salted just right and served with a zesty dipping sauce. Tonight I treated my mother to dinner and we decided to try a couple of the new weekly specials. We were the first to arrive tonight and thus we became the first to try these new specials. I had the Salmon Gravlax appetiser while my mom got the Scallops and Chorizo Skewers. I can’t do either of these dishes justice here but let me just say that they were both above and beyond our high expectations to the point of absolute perfection. The salmon gravlax was heaven with the salmon perfectly cured, and the cream cheese cubes, onions and capers just adding to the overall magnificence. Put atop thinly sliced crunchy bread, the textures complimented eachother so well as to make the flavors pop with the perfect amount of presence. The Scallop and Chorizo Skewers were the highlight of the evening. The scallops were tender and fresh without even a hint of rubber or bitterness. The sausage brought some salt and heat to the dish. It made for a very satisfying mild slow burn sensation. It’s certainly not too spicy for most, but the extremely sensitive should use some caution. The meats are skewered along with cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers with the full skewers set atop a bed of seasoned cut potatoes smothered in a light buttery garlic and herb sauce with a hint of lemon. We decided that we would need to come back again this week so that we can have this dish before its gone and replaced with next week’s special. The service tonight was spectacular. Gionte was an absolute pleasure. He was prompt, helpful, articulate, and supremely professional. We have had him as our waiter once before and were impressed, and this second time truly confirmed how knowledgeable he is in hospitality, and how professional he is as an employee. We both hope to see him there on our future visits.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and strong drinks. Yes, please. We met friends of ours for dinner last night & thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My friend recommended the sangria, so I ordered the passion fruit one. Yum. Our fellas ordered a few brews from their decent beer list. They insisted we order their famous chicken nachos to start & I’m a fan. We all shared a ½ order & it was plenty split between the four of us. For dinner my friend ordered the crab cakes, she said they were a little too spicy for her liking. Her husband & I both ordered the chicken and shrimp curry. It was soooo good. Creamy, sweet, & comforting. Our server asked which spice level we desired and we both went with less than they normally prepare it. My fiancé was in love with his Osso Bucco. He raved on & on between bites of his perfectly prepared meat and risotto. I stole a few bites myself. Delicious. We felt like kicking ourselves for not dining here before! I can’t wait to eat my leftovers at lunch today. p. s. The canvas portraits in the ladies room deliver some nice eye candy ;-)

We eat here often. I always order the same thing — the pork osso bucco. Came in last night for my daughters 18th birthday. Everything was off. Not sure if there has been a change in management/chef. My pork was over done and lacked flavor. It’s the first time I didn’t put a dent in the dish. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their dish but they all mentioned it didn’t seem as great as it normally is. The manager walking around refilling water glasses was great and attentive.

The food here is outstanding and interesting! They have some great specials like BOGO Tuesday and a daily Happy Hour menu with incredible bbq chicken nachos. The ½ order is plenty to share! I love walking or biking to this neighborhood spot!

Crazy sexy place. I came in around 10:30 last Friday night after having dinner at One Fish Two fish. We took a seat at the bar and enjoyed some wine and martinis. You may know this place to be located in a few spots on the Southside but in the last three years the«chain» has broken up and all are own and operated independently. It’s the place where beautiful people go. Doll up, come after work or go casual. All is fine there. I just love the atmosphere and the vibe you get out of this place. It’s a great date night spot where you can just hang and talk to the person or group you’re with. I can’t speak on the food since we were here just for drinks but I do plan on coming back soon.

Havana is a hidden gem on Great Neck Road. While it doesnt look like much on the outside, the inside has been transformed into a romantic and beautiful restaurant. The first time I came here I was blown away by the mojitos — so many options! My two favorite dishes are the petit filet and the goat cheese appetizer. The filet comes with a sauce that really makes the meal. I always ask for a little extra, not because they skimp but because I just want to put all over my whole meal. Make sure you check out Mojito Mondays!

First visit to this location. Came in around 8ish on a Friday & it was packed! Host/hostess stand was attentive during our 30 min long wait. The waitress sold me on the Crab Stuffed Flounder w/Brussel Sprouts. She said it was their«special, really good & a large cut of fish.» My friend got the Osso Bucco just because it sounded cool. HAHA. We were given a bread appetizer w/some delicious creamy herb butter. I enjoyed the butter… bread was ok but, kept reminding me of can biscuit mix for some reason… acceptable nevertheless. When the food arrived I was taken back by my friend’s HUGE hunk of pork shank served with risotto & grilled asparagus. It was bigger than my head! My dish cost more and was much smaller than his. I was bummed. I thought ok. Maybe it tastes better than it looks. Not. It was ok just nothing to write home about. Standard fish and crab. I did enjoy the brussel sprouts and I don’t normally eat them. However, the Osso Bucco were flavors that were different to me. I’m thinking maybe in the way it was prepared. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it but, found myself sopping up my friend’s plate, gnawing on the bone AND taking his leftovers home! I don’t waste food. Last was the dessert… Chocolate bread pudding w/one scoop of ice cream! DEEEE-LI-SHUS… but, Can we have one more scoop of ice cream please? By the end of our meal, I know I enjoyed myself so much that my fake eyelash was hanging at a 45 degree angle! Now, that’s a good time! Thank goodness I wasn’t on a date! :) I def want to go back for HH specials, Tues BOGO Free Entrée’, and to try some of the items on their Tapas menu. I’ll try to dress up next time. I think some of Hampton Roads finest were here that evening. I’m sure it’s me but, everyone looked just so… beautiful & dressed to the nines. This is coming from a chick that prefers jeans and hole-in-the-wall joints…
