Saw «Dr» bond at Kroger. I said how ya doing? As we approached each other. I said «my glasses are still messed up.» He laughed at me and kept walking. This is the guy you deal with at this office. Don’t give him a penny of your money. Dr Bond and his lab goon are a real pair. Low class and low quality all the way.

Incredibly warm people, more than willing to go the extra mile to help you out. Fantastic service, friendly people — I would recommend Dr Bond to anyone in the Virginia Beach area.

Our family of 4 has been going to EyeCare Optometry Associates, PC/​Dr. Bond for at least 10 years. My wife and children have always tried to convince me that his practice is good and that Dr. Bond’s condescending attitude was ok and against my better judgement I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to spend my hard earned monies with this practice. NEVER AGAIN! Last year (2013), my wife and I had the full service with eye exams and new glasses and we spent over $ 600. My pair of eyeglasses just a couple of months after purchase, detached from the frames cleanly (unwelded), a clear manufacturer defect. I took them back to EOA and they replaced them. Then it happended again and again, the exact same problem with the exact brand of frame. The third time they refused to do anything at all. I suggested since it happened to three pairs that it is an obvious manufacturer problem and that we should try another frame and of course they said I would have to pay for it. I said if that was the case my family would take their business somewhere else and it was then that they said that they would order a new pair and to their credit when I picked up my eyewear and walked outside I noticed that they gave me transition lens. Very nobel, but truthfully the damage had been done. I wish that was the worst of it all. The next pair detached from the frame on both sides and I still wear them with crazy glue because they are only 1 year old. yes, this happened all in less than 1 year. Against my wishes, my wife bought a pair of eyeglasses from them 2 months ago and today they broke. Eric, who we guess is part owner, said he could not do anything because my wife’s 2 month old glasses were not under warranty and Dr. Bond just stood right there next to him, we knew he could hear everything and said nothing with no acknowledgment. Coincidentally, Dr. Bond did the same thing each time I returned with my defective eyeglasses, too. We wanted out of there however it was late in the day, my wife and I had a schedule we could not divvy from and my wife’s poor vision needed attention immediately. Their answer was your 2 month old glasses are not under warranty however if you want to upgrade to another frame pay the difference ($ 60). I reminded Eric about my experiences with their practice and showed him my eyeglasses. He copped an attitude and Dr. Bond stood there and acknowledged nothing. My wife has a new frame out of necessity but NEVER AGAIN! Dont go here!

They are super friendly and fun! The office is aesthetically pleasing! Dr. Bond has been my optometrist for years! They also have a lab in their office so usually you can pick up your glasses the same day! I would definitely 100% recommend them to anyone! :)
