I’ve been here a few times now. This place has expanded a few times over the years as other places went out. I don’t generally come here that often as it can be hard to get in and out of this particular shopping location. On the most recent visit, we had ordered pizza for take out. All of the pizzas were supposed to be pepperoni with light sauce. The order was for take out, so we did drive up there to get them. They aren’t that far away from where I live. Parking is always interesting coming into this place. There are notations on the road markings that it is one way through the parking lot there, but many ignore it. Be careful when driving in this one. Parking also tends to be limited, especially during peak times. Once we got inside, the place was already hopping pretty good. We didn’t think it would take that long since we had ordered ahead, and arrived a bit later than when they said the pizza would be ready. However, when we got there, the staff kept getting to other customers instead of us at first(including some that came in after us). Once they finally got to us, the pizza wasn’t ready yet. About 10 minutes later, the pizza was finally ready and then on the way home to eat. The pizza was great as always from here. I normally don’t have many issues with the food here. I don’t come too often, as their prices are higher than other pizza places around. Normally, I would have given four stars; however, given the issues noted above, I did knock it down to three stars. If you’re in the area and looking for pizza, this is one of those places you could consider. Also, based on where you are, they may also deliver to your location. Just note delivery could take a while given past experience.

Last weekend a co-worker brought in some pizza from Gino’s for everyone. I normally would have passed because I’m picky about my pizza but as soon as I saw it I knew I was going to try it. I love thin crust pizza, the kind of thin that might fall apart if you put on too many toppings and isn’t so crispy you can’t fold it. Gino’s nailed it! So last night when my family came to town I knew what to get. They were clearly slammed with the Friday night crowd, graduations and summer vacationers. The phone was ringing off the hook, order tickets everywhere, people poured in to eat in and take out, clearly the place to be. It was worth the wait and I must say they handled the pressure so well! The customer service was exceptional.

We drove by this place on the way out to Pungo to pick strawberries and looked it up on Unilocal,of course, and saw it had a lot of good reviews. So on the way home we called ahead and carried out a large cheese pizza. This is usually the first thing I order at any pizza place to get a good idea of how well they can pull off the basics. Maybe it was because we had to drive for 10 more minutes to get home, or maybe they used too much sauce for such a thin crust, but at least 1⁄3 of the pizza was super soggy, and when we tried to eat it, it was sort of a bit gross. The rest of the pizza was just fine. I enjoyed the flavor and would go back to dine it, but I will not carry out again.

Great pizza, super affordable prices, and I love that they offer their specialty pizzas by the slice, as my family and I can’t agree on which pizza to get! Shout out to our server Kaitlin who was very attentive and pleasant. This is our new go-to pizza joint!

So we came thru for a late night date night and I’m so glad we did. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars was the crust was a little extra«crispy» on one side but the food overall was really good! Our server was on it and provided us with prompt and courteous service. She smiled and checked in on us regularly, making sure we had refills, napkins, sauce and any other thing u could think of. We ordered the special of a 1 topping 16in pizza with 10 wings(mild), after about 15 – 20 mins everything came out hot and delicious. The garlic knots were a plus and were delicious as well! I asked that my wings be extra extra well done and they came out just that way but still juicy! Loved them… We will be back again. Delicious food, great service, nice environment and great prices! #TeamWinning

I saw this place had pretty good reviews and decided to order for take out for the kids while on spring break. Ordered an 18 inch cheese pizza and it was really good. Was a nice change from the chain restaurants we usually order from and the kids really liked it. I’ve never had pizza in NY but I have to imagine this is very close if not spot on. Pizza was huge, not overly greasy, and the cheese tasted very fresh. I went during lunchtime on a Monday and pizza was ready in 15 minutes when I arrived. Will definitely order again.

Even though I consider myself a pizza kinda girl, I’m still very particular about my pizza choices. If someone brings in the commercial, popular pizza chains, I won’t complain… But if I had anything to do with it, I would always recommend Gino’s. Something about their crust is just so delicious. It’s chewy, it’s floury, it’s crusty on the bottom, and it’s not too doughy. Slices are huge enough to fold in half lengthwise, which is how you eat it in NY so that makes me happy! It’s not brick oven pizza but it’s just as good. Their Antipasto salad is the bomb. I always order it with their house dressing and trust me when I say you’d be addicted, too. I think it’s that perfect balance of tanginess and crunchiness. I love the pickled veggies and how they assemble the salami and cheese. Rolled up pieces of ham can be found among the greens as well. For the first time last night I also tried their chicken wings and that was superb as well. We ordered the medium sauce because our waitress said it has just a little bit of a kick and my table aren’t really spicy lovers.(If it were me — spicy all the way, baby!) The wings are crispy and not soft and soggy like Papa John’s.(Shudder) Pizza pie choice of the night was an 18″ half pepperoni, half sausage. We figured you can’t go wrong with either choice. Me, particularly, always always always gravitate towards any margherita pizza that’s on any menu. But since I was sharing, I didn’t want to be selfish =(hahaha. The great thing about Gino’s is that garlic knots are ONTHEHOUSE, YA’LL! I did not know that! I guess it’s because we dined in this time versus just picking up. Gino’s, to me, is worth a 15 minute drive. It stinks for me that they don’t deliver all the way to my house but I never complain. They’re always so efficient, so polite, and my orders never come out wrong. Oh, and before I even forget: check out their dessert cakes on display in the cooler/fridge thingy by the front. Ho-ly moly! I never make it to dessert and I vow that one day I will! They alllll look to die for. On your way out the door, stop by the front counter for some mints! You’ll thank me later when you try to go in for a kiss with your date and your breath wreaks of garlic! Dracula might disagree.

I’ve never been to NY and have never had pizza there, but this is what I imagine authentic New York Pizza to taste like! Huge thin slices that are foldable; thin crispy crust, & delicious flavor! Yum! This review is based solely on take-out pizza & it’s always my boyfriend who is picking it up. So I’ve never actually been inside and dined in, but looking at their huge menu, and based on their pizza alone, I definitely look forward to it. If you’re in the Oceana or General Booth area, I definitely recommend their lunch special! $ 6.25 gets you 2 huge slices & a drink! Check my pics out. Pizzzzza! Yum!

Absolutely amazingly delicious! They deserve 10 stars but I could only give then 5 here. If you are looking for a great appetizer, try the scallops wrapped in bacon. They rocked. The outrageous portions for the pasta dishes will leave you wondering how one person can finish it all. Please try the chicken parm and you won’t be sorry. Pizza was scrumptious and the garlic bread was to die for. Leanne, our waitress, was a doll and very accommodating to our group of 15. The calzones were also a big hit with those who ordered it, not to mention that all was gone by the time we left. Very clean and spacious dinning area. This was highly recommended by some of our families that live locally. I’m glad we came here and we’ll come again next time we are in the area. Ciao for now!

They’ve recently remodeled and it looks great! Lots more seating and there’s a new wood fired oven. Awesome! Hands down the best pizza in this area of VA Beach! We order delivery at work all the time and they are fast and courteous. We dined in for lunch today. You can’t beat the 2 slices and a drink($ 6 and change) deal. The slices are huge! 2 is almost too much — it’s easily ¼ of a large pizza. The sauce is flavorful and there are always lots of yummy toppings. The key to great pizza is the crust and Gino’s doesn’t disappoint. Thin NY Style crust with just the right amount of chew. Not too much grease either. The menu has lots of Italian choices(and the meals of the party of 8 sitting near us looked SO good!), but alas, I just can’t resist their pizza! We also had side salads today which were fresh and chock full of tomatoes, onions and green peppers. Perfect size, too. If you’re out this way and craving delicious NY style pizza, drive no further than Gino’s.

My husband and I went to Gino’s for the first time today and had a fabulous lunch. From our greeting from Nichole and throughout her service, it could not have been better. Wings, pizza, and chicken stromboli were all delicious, and we had plenty to bring home for dinner. We’re often asked by tourists here at Sandbridge where we like to eat, and Gino’s goes high on our list!

So I am a pizza snob, and I do love the Primo Pizza at Redmill. A three star from me means the pizza is very good, not great. On pizza alone it is a four star place, dishes left out dropped it a star. Also it is below the mason Dixon line, but I do compare with the pizza joints I grew up with in Boston and went to in Connecticutt. So I decided to change it up a bit for my weekly pie and came to Gino’s. Not bad, not bad at all. They have a great selection of pies and on my scale, it is just a little too doughy. They do have a brick oven, and unfortunately did not see those selections(separate menu) until after we ordered the cheese with pepperoni. The pie took a while but the cheese was high quality and the pepperoni formed little grease cups. It was a respectable pizza. As far as the cons, they keep the dirty dishes in a tin in the dining room, not horrible but come on, put them away in the back. The other con, which is not really their fault, but when the bar is hopping next to it parking is tight. Last con is just me, if you have a pizza joint, have sports on, not inside edition(yes I would rather see college basketball than the latest on the kardasians). Ok back to the positive, the server(a young man) was pleasant and friendly and did a good job, prices were in line with other pizza joints, and they had tasty garlic knots for free with the dishes(we ate in). As I said I am a pizza snob and really take it seriously, for me, Primo is still the best in the area but if you like your pie just a touch doughy(not horrible) without the crunch, this is vey good. Btw had the leftover pizza the next day and it is just as good the day after. If you are wondering the best pizza in the USA in my humble opinion is Naples in Farmington Conn.

Best pizza in Virginia Beach, hands down. Garlic knots are deliciously flavored. They actually taste like garlic with the perfect amount of spices and oils. Crunchy exterior but not too crunchy. Soft and warm inside and the oils on the serving plate add a nice touch of secondary dip along with the marinara sauce. The pizza is super delicious like earlier mentioned, crust is supreme amongst pizza crusts in the east coast. Slices are perfectly sized, length, width and depth. Definitely a must when I’m Virginia beach.

Sorry guys. I don’t know what’s happened in the last two years. But the downhill slide and loss of pride is showing like underwear in church. Start with the greasy slippery floor that chairs, shoes, nothing would stick to. Same grease texture on the floor from the door to the bathroom.(Hot water in the sink is a plus) Bugs flying ?! Come on guys. A big WTF there. Frozen cheese sticks with sauce that tastes like ketchup. In fact. ALL of the sauces tasted like ketchup. As far as the marinara sauce goes, I’ve only VISITED Italy twice and can kick that things ass!!! Oh. Can you guess how soon I’ll be returning? Maybe when they put my restaurant right next to it. NOPRIDE. Waitress tried to be very nice and so did the boss. Kudos to them

Ginos is by far the best Pizza in town and at the right price. So glad to see how they have expanded into three spaces now and just continue with great food and pizza. Mauricio at the door to great and seat. Awesome!

Gino’s doesn’t deliver to the Oceana area BUT their pizza is worth the short drive to pick up. I love the home made crust– not like the regular pizza chains. What we really like though, is their hot wings. They use Franks Red Hot and just douce those babies lol. They’re always hot and always pretty good. We’ve had their pasta too– which I like. My boyfriends picky tho– he sticks to the wings.

Went about a week ago. Had the lunch special(2 slices of pizza with a single topping) and a soda for $ 6.00’ish. Can’t beat a lunch with tip included for under $ 10.00. Pizza was good, service was good. I’ll definitely give it another try in the future. Only disappointing thing is that it isn’t within delivery range.

This was not the first time we have eaten here. They do delivery and we used them for my daughters birthday party! Real brick oven pizza taste putting the chain pizza joints to shame. Sure they cost a bit more, but the taste and quality you get is worth every penny! Very kind staff and they are always busy, not just pizza, but pasta, subs and more. We have had the subs as well and there is quality there as well! My wife loves dining in because they have best garlic dinner rolls that come complimentary with your meal!
