Food is delicious! Best I’ve tested in Virginia Beach. and the price is perfect! All of the guys that work there have always been friendly and the food is always ready at the time they say.

Checked out Unilocal for the closest Chinese takeout place. Called the order in was told it would be about 10 minutes. It took me about that long to get there and sure enough my order was just being finished, pretty impressed with the timing. General tso chicken was good, not any bit of spicy to it at all tho (which I find is usually the case at most places). Husband said sweet n sour chicken was good but wasn’t a fan of the sauce because it was a bit too watery. Crab Rangoons were a really great price for the amount you get. Husband said there were good and had more of a crab taste than our to go to Chinese spot before we moved. The speed and location were all convenient and would probably go again unless I find a place that is still close it better.

Worst service! I lived in 3 different states.

Shrimp wiz garlic sauce n chicken with garlic sauce.
Nobody ever charged me dinner price when i bought those while lunch time. But this casher lady did. Very unkind rude lady.
Then she explained that dinner combo has 5 shrimp n lunch has 4 shrimp.
But mine didnt even has 5 shrimp anyways.
Again i got those on lunch time…

Dinner price n lunch price is almost double amount different for almost same portions. Jus differences is include eggroll or not, oh n lil peaces pork is in fried rice or not.
I don’t appreciate her very nasty attitude n unkind business.
I would never go back to there again.

Pretty pissed off with the customer service I just received… I checked this place out on Unilocal and saw this make your own order option through Unilocal.I place the order and soon called to see if it went through. When I called the restaurant the gentleman on the phone said he had not received it yet, me being very hungry asked if I could place my order now over the phone and if they saw my order come through then they would of already started it. I ended up being hung up and he refused to start my order until it came through on the app,? I had told him I’ve never used this app before and didn’t know it wasn’t going directly to them and would not have tried it out if I had known and that I was really hungry and want to just hurry up and place my order… Turns out it takes 10 minutes to go through because that’s how long it took before I got a call from the restaurant asking if they could start my order…

This is by far the best Chinese delivery in the area and the only one I order from. My top picks are the fried rice, shrimp lo mien, egg rolls, chicken with cashews, and wonton soup. Usually quick delivery as well!

The food is alright and I like their delivery service but THEY NEVER BRING CHOPSTICKS!
1) They charge .29 for chopsticks.
2) I always ask for chopsticks when ordering delivery everytime.
3) They never bring them, the last time I confronted the delivery guy about it and he had to dig through his car for a pair. That’s unacceptable.

I ordered from Jade Garden frequently because they are just down the street and my mom likes their shrimp with broccoli, and my husband likes thier pancit. However they have been very inconsistent. Sometimes the container of pancit is full, sometimes it is only ¾ of that. Once it smelled funky and later I got a stomach ache. The chicken teriyaki we got was also skimpy. It is not really chicken teriyaki at all, it is pieces of salty chicken thighs that are deep fried on the stick. The hot and sour soup is the worst I have ever had, and the egg drop has no flavor.
And I don’t remember the last time I got 10 shrimp as is supposed to happen in the shrimp and broccoli, but it’s not usually a big enough deal to follow up on. After receiving a noticeably short amount of only 6 shrimp, I called to let them know. Not only were they not apologetic, they accuse me of lying! All that they rudely offered was to count my shrimp the next time. Fat chance of there being a next time. They definitely do not care about the customer. I have been in restaurant management for 20+ years and this is not how you handle your guests. They are going to lose a good regular customer over a handful of shrimp? I would have been fine had they just acknowledged the mistake, but they insisted it was impossible for them to make that mistake and hung up on me. Twice. I have never been treated so rudely.
Years ago I had a friend break her tooth on a screw that she found in her food. It looked like it came off the handle of a wok. They refused to acknowledge that could have happened as well, and said to call their insurance company who ultimately denied paying for her dental bill. We boycotted for years afterwards but out of convenience caved in eventually. Time for another boycott, and there will be no caving in this time.

Just not impressed. I wanted to order before they deliver which turns out to be fine since they have such a high min.
I ordered the teriyaki chicken, extra crisp. Crisp yes but that shouldn’t mean dry.
I also ordered Gen Tso Chkn extra crisp. Crisp, NO. SOGGY… Not spice but disgustingly sweet and no broc???

These folks made good food, but we ordered food to be delivered to a hotel room and they didn’t bring us any utensils! We were also underwhelmed by the amount of food we received. Still, very tasty!

I ordered delivery from Jade Garden for lunch last weekend. It was the best Chinese food I have had in a while. I ordered the General Tso’s Tofu, and it was delicious! The tofu was perfectly fried, and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. They were also very quick with our order. I ordered for a group of ten, so we ordered ten different entrees. The order arrived within 45 minutes. I was impressed, and everyone in my group was happy with their food!

Maybe I’m being petty, but a 17.00 minimum for delivery is a bit excessive when ordering for one. Pass.

Food was okay, but service was poor.
Called them after we got our food because they forgot to pack a large pork fried rice. We did not have a problem until the manager who answered the phone claimed and even said he sweared they packed it.
Why would we be calling if we did not receive the order?

I love Jade Garden II! The broccoli chicken and shrimp egg rolls are delicious! When you pick up, you get a free sweet tea. They also deliver. We only order from Jade Garden. They’re the best! They never forget the condiments with delivery orders, either!

We order from here very often. We enjoy the food and the service. One of the better American Chinese places in the area. I would recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a place that delivers.
Their crab and cheese wontons are my favorite.

My family and I have been going here for years, and not out of habit. It’s definitely the best Chinese take-​out in Virginia Beach. The broccoli is crisp and fresh, and the meat isn’t full of sinew and fat. They don’t use MSG and they are also open to requests like «no salt, and less spicy, etc…» It’s a family business, and they all work so hard. Some of the people who come into the restaurant are real dicks to the folks working at the counter, totally disrespectful. Their curried tofu is delicious as is their chicken with broccoli, and wonton soup. Check it out!

The best Chinese food I have ever had.
The place was super clean, cheap (compared to NY). Good sized portions.
Everything was wonderful, I highly recommend!!!
