Great place! We were hesitant about coming in at first, but once we got our food we were blown away! Ordered tenderloin special and Argentina pie. Everything had so much flavor. Even the salad and green beans were tasty. I will be returning again for sure.

That may be the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread was so fresh. It was huge and I loved it.

You search Unilocal for a great place to eat, and this is that place. Great customer service, but more importantly the food was on point. I ordered a beef emapanda, grilled chorizo, and the crazy Jorgio salad. All were great. The empenada’s crust was crisp and flaky, and the meat and olive stuffing was delicious. The chorizo. Oh the chorizo. Grilled to perfection, accompanied by marinated peppers and salad. But the salad. Epic. Shrimp could have been seasoned more, but the chicken with its balsamic drizzle was awesome along with the pickled red onions, avocado, and greens. Definitely worth a visit. Now I just need to convince a friend to do the 2 person meat extravaganza!

Went on a Friday night at 7pm, not crowded, Small restaurant. Staff very friendly. Had chicken and meat empanadas, which were delicious. Got the Mixed grill for 2, came with house salad, beans and rice with a Russian salad. Everything was great. Will definitely come back.

The best skirt steak I’ve ever had. So tender, juicy and full of flavor. Do yourself a favor and get the spinach to go along with it. It was amazing. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be going back.

I can’t believe this gem was so close to my house tucked away back in Booth Hill Shopping Center! I am so happy that my husband and I happened to come across while searching for a place nearby to have dinner. This place caught my eye and I’m glad it did! It has a nice cozy atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious! I was surprised when we received our check because the portion sizes were huge! I ordered the Milonesa Napolitana and was NOT disappointed! It came with a salad, and although I do not like salad, it was a beautiful presentation! My husband enjoyed both his and mine lol. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant! Great food and great prices! The tiramisu was excellent as well!

Woah woah woah… did not expect such an incredible meal. We had heard about this place for weeks as I have stepchildren in the norfolk area and frequently visit them, to begin with service was immediate, our waiter was just incredibly attentive but not overbearing. We started off with a nice salad and ordered the Argentine grilled for 2… the different meats were incredible!!! The flank and sausage were so well flavored. Portions were more than enough to take home… we finished with a nice expresso and tiramisu. Simply put we will return… LOVEDIT

Based on my mom’s recommendation by her customer at work, we decided to see what Argentinian cuisine was about. Jorgio’s is located in a small, kind of almost dead shopping center where Hooter’s, Wendy’s and Yama Sushi are. Driving up to Jorgio’s it looked closed despite the«open» sign lit up. Inside we found it to be small with about 10 – 12 tables and about 5 – 6 chairs at the bar. We were greeted by a young gentleman who said we can basically sit anywhere we would like because alas, we were the only ones in there! We chose a table near the window for better light. I think we missed the lunch rush, at least that’s what I am hoping. As we sat down I immediately took note of a small section on the floor that needed a good sweep. I don’t know if they forgot or overlooked it but the pile of crumbs kept staring at me. I really wanted to take a star off because the place wasn’t busy that they couldn’t have swept it away, and it pretty much stayed there until we paid the check. I asked the waiter what he recommends since it was our first time and he was quick to say anything off the grill but most especially the Mixed Grill choice because it included all the meats, even«sweetbread.»(Hmmm, what exactly is «sweetbread» doing in the mix of grilled meats?! This could be interesting! You can tell I’ve never heard of, much less even had sweetbread!!) Anyway, since there was 3 of us and haven’t had anything to eat since waking up, we felt the Mixed Grill for 2 might not be enough so we decided to also try their Beef Empanadas(they were out of chicken) and their Sirloin Steak Jorgio’s, except they were also out of sirloin… So, Ribeye it is but prepared the same way as the sirloin. We were going to try the Stuffed Avocado Shrimp but guess what? They were out of that, too. At this point I have to dock a star because that’s 3 items they were out of. The empanadas came out with bread rolls and some kind of salsa and a balsamic oil thingy for dipping. Delicious and I even made a mental note to add balsamic vinegar to my EVOO dipping oil for bread next time. Argentinian empanadas look quite the same as Mexican and Filipino empanadas but they taste a lil different. I was diggin it. I much prefer the Argentinian empanadas over the Filipino ones, let me tell ya. Why? Because it doesn’t come with raisins! When the Mixed Grill came out all you could hear was«Ooohhhh» and«Ahhhh» and«oh my gosh!» and«that looks so good!» Like over & over again. It came on a metal tray smelling of yumminess, deliciousness, and I was drooling like a teething baby. On the tray was 2 kinds of sausages, 2 huge bone-in pork chops, 2 beef short ribs, a few pieces I later learned were«sweetbread» and skirt steak. Just as I was cutting up my portion of each piece of meat our ribeye came out and holy moly was that a happy surprise! It was huge! Almost filled up the plate and it was thick and juicy. Our meal also came with a mixed green salad and a plate for each of us of rice and black beans. The beans were delicious cooked with bacon pieces. So even with 2 stars off my first visit, I still will def be coming back here and I would love to come with another couple who might wanna partake in sharing the mixed grill because it was so much. We had more than half left so we took it home for dinner!(I also think it’s quite pricey so keep that in mind.) Needless to say we didn’t make it to dessert, which was going to be a tres leches cake said to be made in-house. Next time! Kudos to the waiter who was helpful, attentive, and friendly. Also would like to thank the chef who came out to check on our food and made sure we were were enjoying.

I went here for a late lunch with my mom & sister because one of my mom’s customers highly recommended this place, so we gave it a shot &OMG. We all just found our new, favorite restaurant. We ordered the beef empanadas to start, which were soft & perfectly baked with just the right crunch & the chimichurri sauce was great! Even the bread rolls & salad w/their house made dressing was so good. We didn’t know what to order, so our waiter recommended to get something from the grill, so we got the mixed grill with all the different meats & ordered the ribeye steak from the kitchen as well. THERIBEYEISTODIEFOR!!! We got it medium-rare & it was cooked to absolute perfection, to the point that it melted in your mouth. The mixed grill was just as amazing; SOMUCHFLAVOR. Kudos to the cook. We didn’t get her name & not sure if she was the owner, but she can throw down on the grill for sure!!! They were super nice & we can appreciate great service to match great cooking. This is a highly recommended place & we will definitely be coming back.

WOW! This place blew me out of the water! I had this place bookmarked for a while so when my mom, brother and fiancé asked where we should eat, I suggested it. When we walked in, we were immediately seated and served our drinks. The service was really quick because in just a few minutes, the appetizers we had ordered came out and were nothing short of amazing! We really enjoyed the appetizer with peppers, it seems to be their signature. Also, the complimentary basket of rolls were really good, and I don’t usually eat bread at restaurants either. Our main meals were varieties of meat with salads and veggies. They also offer rice and beans as a side as well. All of our meals were amazing and I know because I tried a bite of everyone’s dishes! Extremely flavorful! I also loved the salad so much that I had two! The portions are huge and aren’t pricey! All of us took home half of our meal and we usually never have leftovers to take home when we go out to eat. Overall this is one of the best places I’ve ate at in a long time! We will definitely be back!

Ok so I have gone several times and have never been disappointed! The restaurant is small and quaint run by a husband and wife team. The food is always fresh and seasoned very well. I always seem to order whatever the lunch special is because it is always awesome! You must try the Sausage sandwich! It’s huge and amazing!

Yum! I went here with my wife for a lunch date and we were very satisfied! The Argentine Milanese Steak Sandwich was superb, with incredible flavor and it was very tender. The sandwich is huge and I could only eat half of it(oh I ate the other half for dinner, don’t you worry). I would definitely go here again and I’m curious about the Argentine meat platter for dinner. I only wish they had some Argentine beer!

Started dinner with a Negra Modelo and two empanadas one chicken one beef and a beautiful fresh salad with the house vinaigrette. The empanadas were full of flavor and paired well with the beer. The bread and dipping oil and balsamic herbs had flavors abound. Skirt steak had a nice char and seasoned to perfection and could not be anymore flavorful. The sides were clouds of sweet potatoes and green beans with garlic and olive oil say no more crisp and tasty. The menu has a nice selection of authentic Argentinean appetizers, grill and salads. Quaint seating a family run business very good service you are taken care of in a old world way, with care and passion for what they do. Give it a go I will this was my first vist and with many more to come.

We stopped at Jorgios and enjoyed our lunch. First the place is charming and the owners are very nice. We ordered 2 steak sandwiches which were massive and delicious. The bread is baked there and really made the sandwich. The toppings are piled on and really compliment the steak. The steak is typical South American beef, sliced thin and very good. We will return.

Phenomenal food! The mixed Grill is to die for, lots of food. Even the kids fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. It feels like your in a favorite New York restaurant! The ambience is quaint and elegant and the staff made you feel like you were at home.

Wow! Is what I can say. Was not sure about this place going in. It was really dimly lit, which is not bad but unexpected. When I looked at the menu and the prices I was kinda like I hope this is worth it and it was! Absolutely was. The pictures are no lie. If you get a stake, it will be the size of the plate. The bread is fantastic and you will not be upset with the portion size. The juice drinks are freshly made and the beef is grass feed. There is a heavy influence of garlic and house vinaigrette so be prepared but it is good without a doubt. We watched them bring the cakes in as they were«homemade» but everything was good. Go here, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Delightful Argentina Restaurant in a quite of the beaten path location. Be sure not to over look this charmer! The inside is quaint, modest and clean, there are also a few seats outside in the shade. Menu had a good selection of food from salads, appetizers, sandwiches to full meals. We tried an empanada, the special salad, a skirt steak sandwich and a full meal Skirt Steak. The flavors were delightful, full of flavor, and the meat was extremely tender and cooked to perfection. The meal was plated with style and flair. The quantity of food, or portion size, was very nice. Prices varied from 3.00 for the empanada, 15.00 for the skirt steak sandwich(it was large enough for 2 people) and the special salad was 15.00 and had a generous portion of steak and grilled shrimp. Don’t let the strip mall or location scare you away. This establishment has steak that rivals any big named chop house. It was nice to have the cook come and ask how we enjoyed the meal. We will defiantly be going back to try more delicious food!

Jorgio’s makes the tastiest empanadas in town! I used to go their old location on Holland Road. My heart was broken when they moved, but I was elated when I recently discovered the new location on General Booth. Be sure to ask for some of the flavorful green chimichurri sauce to dip your delicious empanadas in. Gooood stuff!!!

This is a little place, packing huge taste. I have never had food that had so much flavor. The food here is AMAZING! I want to hire them as my personal chef. The chef there is a genius when I comes to developing taste. If you have never been here, stop what you are doing and come here ASAP. One of my favorite places to eat. And after you eat here. It will be your favorite place as well. Appetizer Home made Argentina pie. Their version of empanadas. It has great taste. I had the beef and chicken. The taste is amazing. Salad– crazy Jorgio salad. A big salad with layers of flavor. It’s make Olive Garden salad look like fast foods. I could just eat there salad all day. Sandwiches Argentina sausage sandwich– Aka God’s gift to mankind. I have never taste a sandwich like this. The sandwich is huge. And I’m not lying about the fact that the taste is awesome. Every bite I took was great. Argentina beef tenderloin– a steak sandwich with levels of flavor. The more I chewed the steak the more flavor I tasted. Another huge sandwich. I have never had a steak season what flavors like that. Desert Dulce De Leche– And to finish it out. This desert was amazing. The perfect dessert to an incredible meal.
