Valentine’s Day so it was packed. Wait was well over 45 mins. Service was ok. Food was messed up twice. Baked potato was wrong for both of us. Corn fritters were great but small. Had to send my steak back. Ordered medium. It was thick and came out rare. Sent it back, came out medium well and very dry. I ate part of it because I didn’t want my husband to have to wait on me to eat my dinner. Brought half of it home to the dog.

It’s a bit of a drive and we had never been to Longhorn but we had a gift card from Christmas so we checked it out a few days ago. We were greeted promptly by a young man holding the door open for us as we entered a restaurant that has the appearance of hunting lodge. If I had to sum up the décor in one word that word would be brown. There’s lots of wood and lots of brown with various western themed wall hangings and pictures. It has a cozy, comfortable feel. We enjoyed our dining experience a great deal. The service was prompt and very friendly, the food was simply delicious. When I think of steakhouses my mind usual goes to Texas Roadhouse and Outback Steakhouse which both have locations close to our home. We no longer visit Outback as the food quality has really deteriorated over the past couple of years so Texas Roadhouse is where we usually go for steak. I would say the food quality there is pretty much the same as Longhorn. Both restaurants have really delicious food but I will give the edge to Longhorn because of the overall dining experience. Texas Roadhouse is so loud you can’t have a decent conversation at your table while Longhorn Steakhouse is much quieter and more comfortable with more spacious seating which makes the dining experience much more enjoyable. We both just ordered water for drinks, they were brought to the table immediately. The water was good and cold with plenty of ice and garnished with lemon wedges. Just after we received our waters a lovely loaf of half-sliced warm whole wheat bread presented on a board with soft whipped butter. I always appreciate when a restaurant serves good bread with real butter that’s soft and spreadable. The bread was delicious. We started our meal with the appetizer our server suggest was their most popular, the Texas Tonion which is crispy onion petals drizzled with sour cream and served with a kind of a spicy ranch dipping sauce. Honestly, I would have preferred the dipping sauce to be a little spicier but the appetizer was delicious and I definitely prefer their petaled presentation compared to the onion appetizers at Outback and Texas Roadhouse which have to be torn apart to eat. We both had the chopped mixed-greens salad which was delightful. In so many restaurants today you find salads that accompany entrees to be mostly iceberg lettuce with scant amounts of two or three other items(usually red cabbage and carrots) with dressing slathered on top. At Longhorn we were presented with beautiful salads with lots of greens, onions, carrots, red cabbage, tomatoes and lovely crisp croutons. The ingredients were fresh and cool and very tasty with the cracked black pepper we sprinkled from the pepper mill on the table. Next up were our entrees, the 8 ounce Flo’s Filet with baked potato for my wife and the 18 ounce Outlaw Ribeye with french fries for me. My wife’s filet was a perfect medium just as she ordered. It was succulent and very tender while seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. She remarked that the baked potato with butter and sour cream was excellent as well with slightly crispy skin and beautiful soft flesh, very tasty with just a little salt and pepper. My bone-in ribeye was awesome, cooked to a perfect medium rare it was well marbled and perfectly seasoned, just bursting with flavor and oh so tender. The french fries were delicious as well, hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Our appetites were fully sated so we had to skip the deserts which disappointed me a little as I spied an incredible looking black forest cherry lava cake being carried through the dining room as we were walking to the door to exit. I give Longhorn Steakhouse five stars for a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was fabulous, the service fast and friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I noticed the plates and flatware were all clean and free of spotting as were the drink glasses. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. We will definitely return and next time I will leave room for desert.

Great service and good food and drinks. Friendly, hard-working staff. Showed up around 6pm with a party of 7(4 adults and 3 kids) and they had us seated in 20 – 30 minutes, we had just enough time to finish a drink and eat an appetizer at the bar. Fed everyone including drinks for around 180 bucks.

The Octoberfest mussels are freaking awesome! Had the stuffed mushrooms as well, they were really good, except they could have been bigger. And equal number being an appetizer. But other than that, no complaints.

My girlfriend and I visited Longhorn for the last time last night. Our server delivered ice water and then disappeared for a while. When she returned my girlfriend asked a few questions about the sequence in which she should expect her order to arrive. She wanted to order steamed mussels first, and then have French onion soup arrive afterwards. It took several minutes and a lot of discussion to convince the server that she only wanted to order the mussels and would decide later on the soup to ensure that the items arrived in the order desired. A bit later the manager arrived with the mussels, saying he wanted to deliver them right away to be sure they didn’t get cold, and that my appetizer would be our shortly. After 7 or 8 minutes my girlfriend became impatient as she was eating while I sat there empty handed. There had been no sign of our server since she took our order, so noticing the host at a nearby table she called him over and explained the problem. Another server stepped in and apologetically promised to fix the problem. My salad was delivered shortly thereafter, and while our server was chatting with guests at the next table the manager snatched my appetizer out of her hand and delivered it. He then asked if there was a problem, and my girlfriend firmly but politely explained that if two people at a table ordered appetizers it was only good form for them to be delivered together. The manager then proceeded to argue that it was corporate policy that food be delivered as soon as it was ready. My girlfriend’s response was that in a properly managed kitchen orders for a given party would all be ready at about the same time, and that his proper response would be to say«I’m sorry» and walk away rather than argue with a guest about corporate policy. About 5 minutes passed, we were enjoying our food, when the manager returns and states«I understand you were rude to a member of my staff», takes the food from in front of us and asks us to leave«his establishment». There was no alcohol involved, no raised voices, and no profanity. We are both 61 y.o. and dine out regularly. I have never experienced more outrageous behavior in my life. This man is not equipped to manage a fast food restaurant, let alone an establishment like this.

After a 20 minute wait we got a table in a busy corner. The stuffed jalapeños shooters were a bit bland, but the sauce was good. I ordered my ribeye medium and it came well done. The properly cooked steak was lacking flavor. The floors were slippery in several areas, but the blackberry tea was the best I’ve had in a while. My husband loved his shrimp and tilapia. Texas Roadhouse is a better bet!

Steaks came out tasting like gas and were a little burned. We’ll be taking our business to Texas roadhouse from now on. Shame since Longhorn was so close.

Came in for a birthday dinner was very disappointed with the salad i believe grass would have tasted better and been greener. The prime time margarita was so bad it was like drinking water, lime and a hint of tequila. i think we will be coming here anymore. If I must say something nice about this place was the bread it’s hella good

Food was amazing like always. We had a great waitress who was very friendly and even played with my 2 kids. She knew they was hungry by the way they where acting up and she made sure she brought bread as soon as possible to help keep the kids calm. I had the Sirlon steak and man was it good love a good juicy steak that u don’t have to use any a1 on it.

Visited this location for the first time on a Thursday evening. We did have a wait, of about 20 mins or so, but I still give it 5 stars. Our waitress Danielle took wonderful care of us. She served us up PERFECTLY cooked steaks — tender, juicy and cooked to exact temperature. They were quite busy but the restaurant was impeccable and the staff very accommodating. We’ll surely be back again.

My wife and I ate on a Thursday evening. We’ve been here several times before and it’s usually been pretty good. I’ve had the cowboy pork chop a few times and it’s always been great. I occasionally try one of their steaks. This visit I tried the rib eye steak, done medium, and was disappointed. It was cooked just fine but lacked marbling and flavor. It tasted more like a lean sirloin cut that a rib eye cut. My wife had a salad and baked potato. Both were good. Tonight’s steak won’t stop me from returning but I will probably go back to the pork chop — in a steak house.

Took my family here for a late father’s day dinner. The only enjoyable part of dinner was the extremely friendly waitress that did her part and earned Longhorn the 2 stars. As soon as we walk in, we see a manager and two hostess talking. I’m sure the manager was explaining something but being literally next to the stand when you walk in, you’d expect a hi or hello. We wait about 30 to 45 seconds just standing there and staring at them before my wife says hello. Then they finally say hello and look puzzled that we are standing there. After getting a table cleaned off, they sit us down. 10 – 15 minutes go by before we even have anyone come to us asking for drinks. By that time, we’ve all looked at the menu and know what we wanted for our entrees. Our waitress noticed we’ve been seated and ask if we’ve been helped. She ends up taking our orders as we’ve been waiting and no one mentioned to her or anyone else that we’ve been seated. She takes our drinks, appetizer, and entrée order as we’ve been waiting. Our appetizers and salad came out decently quick. Good timing and kept us busy. 20 minutes go by after we ate our appetizers our steaks finally came out. Ordered my parents 10oz filets cooked Medium and my porterhouse Medium as well. My wife ordered a ribeye medium and that came out perfectly medium. However, one of the filets came out WELLDONE. NOTANOUNCEOFPINK throughout the entire steak. Mine and my father’s came out medium well but closer to the well side. After we notice and after the waitress asked how everything was when it was dropped off there was no one to be found. I tried to flag my waitress down but she had 4 or 5 other tables she was taking care of her own. Finally I get her attention and she even says wow to the well done filet. She grabs a manager and he doesn’t seem surprised at all. Just kept offering a dessert to offset it. At the time, we’re about 1.5 hours into our whole restaurant dinner. We didn’t want to 2ait even longer for another steak so we decided to have him remove the food from the order or even discount it since we ultimately ate the food. He comes back and only removes one filet. I wasn’t going to argue as we were all done and ready to go. The waitress which was not at fault was still tipped rather well but management and cooks need to be addressed. She was the only reason this place got the extra star. So you guys should give her a raise or at least thank her for being great at her job. I believe her name was Kirsten or something of the sort. If you read this, thank you for your service. You were nothing short of amazing. I’ll probably never step foot back into this place even though it’s the closest steakhouse to our house.

This used to be our«go to» restaurant if we wanted a steak and were trying to stay within a certain budget, but over the course of the last two years(and I don’t know why I occasionally go back to see if or what has changed… hoping, I guess) their service has declined drastically. This ranges from holding tables to general service. We were told that they don’t take reservations, but they will hold tables if you call an hour or so in advance. Having done that(on a holiday, no less, and twice), we found ourselves arriving(a party of 12) only for them to tell us that they don’t hold tables. After departing we called the manager who informed us that we were given the incorrect information and that they do, indeed, hold tables. We ended up at another restaurant by the time I reached them on the phone. The apology seemed more obligatory than sincere, but I am seeing more and more of that in a society that is becoming not so service oriented. Thank God for Unilocal to keep people informed! We had numerous other encounters with this place, needless to say, we likely won’t return. Our experiences to date have not been good. Last night we decided to go and eat after a day of appointments and shopping. When we arrived, it was not very busy at all. There was no host/hostess at the front door at the time. I took that as an opportunity to check in on Unilocal. Within a couple of minutes a friendly young woman led us to a booth behind the bar area. A few minutes later, our server arrived. We already knew what we wanted to order so placed the order along with our drinks. We split the Outlaw Ribeye, which used to be a favorite before so much changed, and asked for a loaded baked potato for one plate and asparagus for the other. Generally they ask what salad you want. The server did not and I forgot. A few minutes later she brought bread and butter to the table. After a few minutes, I knew something was missing but couldn’t put my finger on it. After about 15 or 20 minutes, I realized what was amiss and stopped the server when she was close to our table. I told her that we had not ordered salads that usually come with the meals. She told us our dinner was about ready to come out almost in a way that made us feel like she thought it was unnecessary at this point. I requested salads anyway. With that, she left to put the order in. A few minutes later our steaks arrived. My husband’s was served with his loaded baked potato. Mine was solo on the plate and they promptly placed a platter with Parmesan Crusted Asparagus in the middle. I’m sure that I looked confused(as I was) and the food runner looked at me and asked if that was what I ordered. I told her it was not. I told her I ordered regular asparagus. She kindly told us to go ahead and keep that and she would bring out the side I ordered. Surprisingly, when she brought out the regular asparagus, she brought it out as I ordered it with extra lemon. I didn’t tell her that so obviously it was on the order(cook’s oversight perhaps? someone else’s Parmesan Asparagus? I don’t know). Part way into the meal, our salads were brought out. They were cold and crisp with a scant amount of dressing. The asparagus was good, but served only warm and not hot. The Parmesan Crusted Asparagus was very good and hot and the Chili Ranch Sauce was tasty. Our steaks were not cooked as we requested which seems to be more standard at this restaurant than not the last couple of years. It was fairly red in the middle and I like mine medium well and am clear when I order it that way. Let’s face it, we come to a steakhouse for steak. Everything else is secondary, so getting the steak right is important. My husband said his baked potato was alright. In any event, during the course of our dining time, never once were the dirty dishes removed from the table and never was a refill offered on the drinks. The server was there only to bring a couple of things and the check although she passed by us numerous times. The place was NOT busy… not even a little bit so it was difficult to understand the lack of service. She was neither rude nor pleasant, just there if that makes sense. She was the most friendly when she dropped off the check. When the server did bring the bill, I noticed that the tip suggestions were based on the bill AFTER the tax. Patrons are only supposed to tip on the pre-tax amounts. Anyone that has worked in the hospitality industry knows that and the manager, above all and if no one else, should know that. I have always been a good tipper having worked in hospitality on and off through the years. I usually tip 20% standard, but if the service is good I will go beyond that. I realize that having lived in Florida, a state which is fueled by the hospitality industry, that not all places meet the same standards which is pretty sad. Anyway, this was one of those very few times that I only tipped 15% and it was on the pre-tax amount and it was more obligatory than heartfelt just because.

I was surprised at how good this place was! They had coastal California wines and the steak was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and the service on point. I had a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes. The bread and salad were fresh. I will come back for sure.

Went here last night to try the apple cider baby back ribs and man they were delicious! The meat fell right off the bone and had a nice juicy flavor! The service was super quick despite of it being a busy Friday night. My boyfriend and I loved our appetizer The Texas Tonion but we couldn’t finish it because it was a huge portion! Better for a family or four or if you are eating with a few friends, not just two people. Our waitress seemed like she really enjoyed her job, which I don’t see many great servers these days, so I was happy to have someone super upbeat. When we got our salads that went with our meal, the dressing was a bit much. I would have preferred it on the side, but if you like a lot you’ll be fine. One thing that really bothered me while I was there was at the handicapped accessible table, the waitress serving the table just brought this gentleman his walker and didn’t offer to help him up, just walked away. And multiple employees passed by and watched him struggle. One literally just stood there and didn’t offer to help. It took a customer to offer him help. Make sure your Manager or someone is there to help with things like this, I know waitresses have jobs to do but not fair to a guest having trouble to struggle. Other than that minor incident, this place was great and of course we will be back!

I popped in at lunch time and rather than wait for the server to take care of the two groups in front of me, I ambled around them and took a seat up at the bar. Service here was better and it was quieter and I could see the TV’s. Lunch menu is pretty good with portions that aren’t as big as the dinners(but the dinner portions are available if you want!) and are a bit different. I opted for the Sirloin Chimichurri Sandwich with fries. Lots of lots of ketchup required for the fries, which were seasoned perhaps a bit too much. The sandwich itself was pretty good. Grilled bread and melted Provolone with thinly sliced mushrooms. Oh, and the sliced sirloin was good too! A little on the messy side but very tasty and completely gone when I looked down at my plate again! Good choice, not too expensive. I’d return here for a sit down lunch again.

I’ve eaten here a few times since it opened… Overall 4 star experiences. My review, short and sweet on the most recent visit: Once again, the usual great service. The wait staff here have always been superb. The taste of the food was great also. We had the Pretzel stick appetizer which came with 2 sauces… I am not normally a sauce person, but both of the sauces tasted great. Only negative on this visit was the cooking of the meat. I ordered a burger«Medium», my son ordered a burger also, «Medium Well». Didn’t matter, they both came out well done, 0 pink. So for all the great amount of time they have put into coming up with great, flavorful menu items, some of it gets lost when food is ordered«medium» but arrives well done. Some tweaking needed on cooking times in the kitchen. Still, I love Longhorn Steakhouse. I will be back!

I used to be a big fan of this place. My ex husband and I loved it. They had these amazing chili cheese fries and really good steaks. Plus the service is always pretty good. The last few times I’ve visited, something has often let me down. For example, stopped in earlier today for an early lunch with my boyfriend and wanted nothing more in life than those delicious chili cheese fries. Nope, they removed them from their menu and they can’t even make them for me because that was the only thing they had chili in so they don’t have it anymore… sadness. No biggie — I chose to try to corn fritters. They were good but really greasy so I only ate one or two… the avocado dipping sauce was pretty good. I ordered the Napa Chicken light(500 calories or less) which was a grilled chicken breast with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. It came with a side salad and steamed green beans. Pretty yummy. I added the parmesan cheese to the chicken. Usually when I get it it’s like a somewhat crunchy bubbled crust — this just looked like they slapped a square of cheese and let it melt… major letdown and not what I’ve had in the past. The taste of the chicken was still good — but this was another thing I had been craving that was not like it was when I loved it. They have good food — and our service has always been pretty good with polite servers who are good at what they do… but removing some of my favorite things from the menu will ensure I won’t come back often. Simply because I have so many other options and the main things they had they set them apart — they removed.
