This pizza is delicious. I’m trying to taste the different pizza places in the area. So tonight it was Marcos.
We were a bit confused about classic pepperoni and old world pepperoni (owp), but once the nice gentleman on the phone described the old world as a bit more spicy, smaller and a better pepperoni flavor, I had to get that one. It was definitely a good choice. I had the 10″ personal pizza with owp and extra cheese. I will stick to that one when ordering from there again.
My husband had a large owp, mushrooms and extra cheese on thin crust. He said it was good.
They don’t skim on toppings.
As we are trying different pizzas from the area I know one thing is for sure, Marcos has repeat customers. We will definitely come back again if the quality of the food stays the same.

I hadn’t intended to purchase a pizza when my roommate and I went for doughnuts earlier today. However, the Marco ’ s franchise next door looked inviting so we gave it a shot. We ordered a ½ cheese and ½ meatball and green olive pie. I admit that I was pleasantly surprised! The sauce to cheese and topping ratio was spot on, and the the crust was much better than the standard chain pizza joint crust that I am used to eating.

From the looks of this place it looks promising but it’s not. I ordered a medium cheese pizza and 15 wings. I was expecting the wings to be a higher quality but they were like your average pizza chain. The Wings were just around the same as a chain if not worse. When it came to the cheese pizza I expect there to be enough cheese without me asking for extra cheese but there was barely any cheese on it. I’ll hit up papa johns before this place. Never again.

4 stars but it is a five star spot. I got the Meat Specialty pizza and a 1 topping classic and old world pepperoni pizza. They were both delicious and awesome. Top of the list for pizzas in this area for me.

Two stars for the food. Great taste and satisfying. However, I removed the 3 stars because of SERVICE. Waited about 40 minutes just for a small BBQ Chicken Pizza. Saw three different delivery guys come in and out with other orders THREE TIMES. After waiting for so long, finally went up to the register only to find out our order was already done and they didn’t say anything until then. When we finally got the pizza, it was semi cold. So will I be back? No. Probably order through phone instead since their delivery service seems so much faster.

I loved eating at Marco’s when I lived in NC! So needless to say I was super excited when I saw one here! I just love their pizza (fav is Italian sausage/​pepperoni with flat crust)!! The only thing that stinks is they are SO far away… there definitely need to be more locations! But I got my fix, so I’m happy!!!

Great pizza, even better service! It’s been a long time since I was treated like a guest somewhere and I never thought it would be at a little pizza shop!

Staff were definitely the stand out at this restaurant! Upon walking up to the store front, a young man was cleaning the windows and doors, he held the door open and welcomed my family and me. The gentleman at register was also very cordial. He welcomed us on our first visit and proceeded to point specials for the day. The pizza was good but the staff was better!!! Great job!

Pros: The meatball pizza and the dark chocolate cookies were good and indulgent. All the food was hot and tasted fresh.
You could get free cholesterol Frito Lay chips or Dorritos nachos.
They had also some healthy beverage options such as Capri Sun pouches or fruit juices.
The food overall deserved three stars.
The fourth star is for their deep involvement in the local community. This restaurant has been supporting generously plenty of events in Virginia Beach.
Cons: The pepperoni pizza was average.
The bread of the sub with ham, cheese and red onions was too soft.
The cheese bread sticks as a starter and also the cinnamon ones as dessert were bland.

Pizza was good, but it was nothing amazing. It was basically higher priced Pizza Hut pizza. That being said, it was definitely a bit higher in quality as well so that may explain things, but for this cost, I can go get real italian pizza from a host of other pizza places at the same cost.

I ordered a pizza online yesterday and paid for it and was upset when we went to pick it up and they said they had no record of the order. They said they’d throw one in for us and we could wait. I was annoyed since I had pre-​ordered cause we had plans and then had to wait.
Anyway, I pulled up my confirmation email today and sent in a review about what happened. A couple hours later I get a call from the manager and he had looked into the situation. Turns out I had placed it as a future order for TODAY instead of yesterday. So it was my fault but the manager apologized and put a credit on my account for my next order.
Top notch service for them to do that when it was my fault. Thanks Marcos!

Spare yourself the dissatisfaction. If you love microwaved, frozen pre-​breaded chicken nuggets, this is your joint (I’m talkin about the chicken poppers). The people were nice so I didn’t want to do this, but as I thought about my wasted 27 bucks… I couldn’t resist. The pizza crust was thick and soft yet still greasy. The bacon was a little under cooked. If your like me, the word bacon is always followed by crispy. If this is authentic Italian ill stick to Pizza Hut.

Sunday. I’m hungry. Don’t know where to go. Driving down the street I see this pizza joint and pull over. I also see Duck Donuts and realize I can get 2 first-​time visits completed at once.
The Unilocal reviews for Marco’s Pizza looked good. Not that I was going anywhere else anyway.
No pizza by the slice saddened me. Most of the sandwiches have some king of ham, pepperoni or pork so I’m sure a ton of people love that.
I ordered a 10 inch small pizza. Cheese. Free crust toppers, I chose Parmesan.
The staff were super friendly. I appreciated that for sure.
The pizza was okay. It satisfied me when I was hungry, did the job that I needed. Presentation was good. Staff gave me plates, napkins and utensils when I decided to eat a few slices in the restaurant.
FYI: not really dine in. 2 two-​seater tables and one that seats a few more.

Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. Love the crust toppers and garlic dipping sauce. The cinnamon sticks were pretty amazing too.
We will definitely be ordering from them again soon.

I am a pizza junkie. Marco’s Pizza is absolutely fantastic! It’s not a wing joint, so disregard any clowns downing the place for what it’s not. The sauce is hearty, delicious and not too sweet, and the toppings are perfectly balanced in quantity. Also, the crust is delicious. A very welcome addition to the VB pizza scene. The only independent place around as good is Salvatore’s near Kempsville. Makes one wonder why some eat trash from Papa John’s, Pizza Hut and Domino’s.

This was by far the best pizza I have had in a very long time. Pretty sure we got all crust options to our pizza, and the toppings were fresh and pizza was hot! Used an advantage card offer with no problem and got a medium pizza free with a purchase of another. Because it’s very good pizza, 1 medium quickly filled up my boyfriend and myself. I recommend their pizza to anyone now! I will for sure be coming back for more!

we ordered the thin crust meat surpremo. it was fantastic! good amount of toppings and sauce and the crust was perfectly crisp and not greasy at all. delivery was fast and pie was still hot :)

ok so now we have eaten here 3 times… still love it! The wings though not the best. sorry but like most pizza places the wings are never good. The sub and the pizzas are delish!!! This is my new favorite pizza place-​great prices too.
