Not too impressed with selection. I understand that the brands and items vary frequently. For being a discount type store, prices on the few items that I was interested in were not compelling enough to get me to purchase them as I could find them cheaper elsewhere. Always hit and miss coming in here to find a deal.

Marshalls has a certain sound. The sound of shoppers sliding hangars on metal bars. Shhk. Shhhk. Shhhk. Annoying. I just popped in and took a quick look at the menswear, not finding anything in my size for slacks and pants. Boo.

Out of all the discount department stores in VB I would have to say that this marshalls is by far my favorite. I don’t come here as much as I want to(if I did I would be broke) which is a good thing. I come here when I need to change up my wardrobe for the upcoming season. Or when I need some new athletic wear. Everything is fairly priced like any discount department store. They carry a lot of my favorite yoga and running brands. This store is a lot more stocked and organized than the rest of them. Dressing rooms are always available and bathrooms are clean.

Marshalls is one of my favorite«go to» stores for kitchen items and other household goods. The prices are reasonable and comparable to your typical Walmart or Kmart, but the quality of the goods is far superior. It is not an upscale store by any means, but I don’t have an exorbitant budget either. This location is great. They seem to always be well-stocked. They are clean and organized. The check out time has never been long even around the holidays. The store’s staff are helpful and friendly as well.

I have been coming here to this location for several years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always helpful and polite. One aspect of this location that I love is that it is always organized and well put together. I find that many bargain stores tend to be a little on the cluttered side of things and I have a hard time operating in those conditions and especially do not want to shop in them. If you’re looking for some name brand items but pay less for them this is the place to go. I would also check this location out for birthday gifts and etc., they have a wide range of items to chose from that will meet some basic needs especially if you are having a hard time figuring out what to get someone.

One of the best Marshalls in the area, clean, organized and stuff always on sale. Great selection on everything from shoes, to clothes, to home goods, electronic needs, and gourmet foods. They have name brands that I see shopping in New York City. I only go to this location. Staff is always nice and helpful.

What an upgrade! Lynnhaven location relocated here. I want EVERYTHING!!! Right now they have workout clothes galore! They have a very wide variety of active wear pants. I bought five pairs… I needed none. They are also ramping up inventory of intimate apparel for Valentine’s Day with lots of sexy pink and red items. They have an amazing selection of dinning room chairs for $ 99. These chairs look like $ 400 Pottery Barn chairs. They have beautiful home décor. My personal favorite of the very real looking artificial orchids that I should probably buy because I love orchids but I can’t seem to keep them alive. They’ve got some designer goodies in here too, namely, Michael Kors handbags! I knocked off a star because I didn’t come across any jewelry and that is actually something that I went in for. I did find one item that I went in for(an 80’s style top) and it came to $ 7.99. The total bill that day was $ 160. Sometimes you just need to splurge a little. Whoever designed the fitting room is genius. They really figured out the fitting room psychology. There are labeled hooks for what you are«definitely» buying«possibly» buying, or buying«tomorrow»(which is actually the hook for rejects but this is shopping psychology here, remember). There is a grid on the wall that you can hang all your items on before trying on then once your make your decision you can place each item on their newly designated hooks. I had literally 30 items hanging on this grid and these labeled hooks were really helpful for keeping items organized. It was so nice not to have a limit on how many items could be taken in at once. Nobody likes to walk back and forth to the fitting room attendant swapping out clothes while you’re mismatched and barefoot. All this shopping makes me hungry… that’s ok. Vegetable chips, truffles, lightly salted nuts, chocolate covered fruit, gluten-free cookies, yes, yes, yes.

This is a brand new location, with clean open space. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make sure that the items are well stocked and that all of the customers are taken care of. The attendant that actually assisted me at the fitting room was very helpful and nice. They have a very nice selection and variety of both home goods and clothing and shoe options. I will definitely return and use this location as one of my favorites.

When it comes to shopping at Marshall’s, it’s always a hit or miss for me. However, I have to say that this location has a wide selection of clothes, beauty products, & home goods! I was surprised to see their collection of hair & beauty items. They offer Essie/OPI/China Glaze nail polishes for $ 4.99, facial/body products including Bliss & Philosophy items for about $ 10 – 12. Not bad compared to regular retail prices! Also, their collection of clothes aren’t too bad. I found a few cute tops and a ton of workout gear at awesome prices! Lastly, their home collection is huge! They have a ton of pillows, kitchen tools, and bathroom items! If only this location was in San Diego, I’d shop here for everything!

Marshall’s is the go to store to find some of the neatest stuff at great prices. Just wish they would keep their shoe department stocked up year round. Their boots are got to haves.

The Marshalls in the Brenneman Shopping Center in Virginia Beach has only been open for a few months now, but it is fast becoming one of my favorite places to shop! First thing going for this store — it’s freaking MARSHALLS! Need I say more? Secondly, the layout is nice and open. It’s very easy for the customer to push their cart around the store as they shop. And trust me, you can spend a lot of time in that store! I noticed that their merchandise was a little nicer than things I would’ve seen at other Marshalls stores. For example, I purchased this beautiful Cynthia Rowley dress for $ 19.99(regularly priced $ 39.99)! I took away two stars because customer service was a little on the«eh» side. I went up there with my mom a couple of weeks ago because she had to return a dress and the cashier was RUDE. I forgot the girl’s name, but she had blonde curly hair and she was a little on the chubby side. Instead of telling us that we were finished with the transaction, she said, «You can go now.» WTH… who does that?! What happened to «Have a nice day?» I told my mom to speak to a manager, but she’s too nice of a lady to say something. =I That one cashier’s crap attitude won’t deter me from coming back; however… if she tries that crap on me, I’m not as nice as my mom…

This store was great. Discount home goods stores like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. are my favorite weekend haunts. I was here for a doctor appointment during the weekday two weeks ago and decided to stop in this new Marshall’s location near the Harris Teeter off Princess Anne and it was AMAZING. It is a brand new store, probably opened about a month or so ago, and it is so clean and well organized. It was quiet when I went, being a Monday at around 11am, the employees were very friendly and all greeted me with a pleasant«hello, how are you» and I saw some very cute products. I usually find some hidden gems at Marshall’s — but there were a ton here. Plus the clothing they offered seemed a little nicer than the usual. I saw several nice Calvin Klein maxi dresses for summer I hadn’t seen previously as well as some very cute Elle Tahari dresses. The home goods section had some very nice towels and fake flowers and bathroom goodies. I’ll be back every time I’m in the area for sure.

Lots of selection, however it was pretty messy. It made it hard to shop.
