Nails Only

Love everything about this place. Van does a wonderful job and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Very friendly staff and always happy.

For anyone who wants a manicure OR a pedicure in Virginia Beach, male or female, I recommend Nails Only at 2817 Shore Drive, #112, just down from Hot Tuna and next to the Subway. I’ve tried other salons in the Great Neck or Hilltop area and this is the BEST one!
A regular pedicure is $ 26.00. It is run by a family and you will feel at home there. Van and Oanh are in the middle. There’s also Amy, Lee, Mai, Tina, Jenny, Anne, Ty. All are very skilled and good at their work and will take good care of you!

This is my favorite nail salon (and not just in Virginia Beach). It’s always clean and the service is great. The mani/​pedis last forever too! Super highly recommended.

I am very particular about my nail salons and my expectations were beyond exceeded with Nails Only! I called 15 minutes before they closed asking for their hours; they told me they could still take me for a mani pedi since I was 5 mins away and insisted it was no problem. I expected to be hurried in and out but they were extremely attentive, detail oriented, and friendly. They even had one person shaping my nails during my pedi. No corners were cut! The place itself is deceptively pretty inside despite being in a strip mall and extremely clean. My nails look absolutely beautiful — this will be my only nail salon in Virginia Beach from now on!

Very sweet staff and great Shellac pedicures. I’m a regular. I am not the «regular» type either– I tend to bounce around searching for better places (salons) but won’t go anywhere else for pedicures than here. Simple review. None more needs to be said. :)

My mom and I come in every couple of weeks and get mani/​pedis here. We usually get a regular pedicure and gel nails, and don’t ever need to correct their work or come back to have anything «fixed.» The owners know us by name and ask us about plans/​things about which we told them on our previous visits… so we always get a sense of «care» from them. We bring all of our friends here and are graciously thanked every time for being such a loyal customer. We will always recommend this place to anybody that asks, because we have always had nothing short of excellent service.

Good place to go

Would absolutely not recommend this place, unless you want an express mani/​pedi.
First, I’m from out of town so called ahead and made an appointment. We had to wait when we got there, and then they got mad when two of our friends were a few minutes late… almost gave up their chairs.
Second, it was super busy but they made it a point to go after everyones visit who walked through the door. I don’t blame them for being good business people, but I do blame them for rushing through all of our mani/pedi’s. I was done with both in forty minutes.
Finally, I’m all about efficiency but qualitatively. My nails look horrendous. She also cut them after I asked her not to. Ok horrendous is harsh, but a few of them are incredibly sloppy. It didn’t help that she was on the phone the entire time.
Sucks this is the only review… I hope other people have better stuff to say and help their star store, but from my perspective I would highly suggest finding another place!
