Pollard’s Chicken

After ordering we were told that they had no dark meat and would have to wait about 12 min. We opted to leave. We bought chicken livers!

Very good service. Katrina is a star. She goes out of way to help and make you feel comfortable. Great food also.

The chicken is always good here, nice hot and juicy. The sides however is nothing to brag about with the exception of the puffs! There is usually about a 15 minute wait for the food and can be a bit pricey, usually clean/​orderly, do not expect any top notch customer service.

Gizzards are always d’lish. I appreciate that they bring your food to you and they have excellent sweet tea. The store closes at 9pm, so call it in before 845pm.

This place is not good. I went there 10AUG2013 from 8pm to 9pm. Not impressed by the lack of customer service nor the poor food quality. The menu wasn’t correct either, so I had to fumble around with the woman who was taking my order who asked me thirty times what I wanted. Maybe she was deaf, I don’t know? She was also very indifferent while taking the order and it looked like this experience was going to suck from the get go. Anyways, I waited forever for my order and when it was available, the same woman just had me sit there waiting and waiting forever until oh, here is an order just sitting there that I never occured to try and find someone to take it away. So anyways, I just grabbed the bag and headed out of there pissed off. Got home and what do you know, this food is less than too. So, I’m never going there ever again and I encourage them to fire or at least train the staff on customer service and food quality. I’ve only been to one other Pollard’s Chicken on S. Battlefield in Great Bridge and it was run a lot better.

Finally tried the chicken here and understand what all the fuss is about. So moist and juicy… my new favorite chicken place in Hampton Roads! The hot sauce on the table goes perfect with it.
