Be wary. Seemed like we were getting an amazing deal– by far the best pricing, and the owner seemed nice too. Went over everything about damages, insurance, what they’d need to do. (We had over 10 trees and multiple bushes removed)
This is a really hard review to write because the service was done quickly, and affordably. But, everything else was lacking. The crew showed without any type of uniform (not even a t-​shirt with the company name) and that didn’t bother me so much, but one of the workers came with old ripped sweatpants, a stained t-​shirt, and reeking of marijuana. The workers were smoking and swearing while working, which isn’t the end of the world but really isn’t professional.
They «removed» our mailbox at some point, and my husband went out to see them and chat with them about it. The one worker literally argued with him over where the location of the box was. He insisted it was at the end of our driveway, when it was actually further over where they had their crane. They packed up and left, no issues. The next day we realized that they didn’t remove the mailbox, they actually BROKE IT OFF and tossed it next to the house. We assumed something would be done about so we never said anything. They left that day, telling us someone would be back later that day to remove all of the tree trunks (there were many, all piled in front of my neighbor’s house). The mailbox had been put back in place, and when my 4 year old went to check the mail the mailbox literally fell on him! They didn’t fix it at all, and then it posed as a danger to my son. They also never got the lumber picked up.
The following day (Saturday) I called them back, and spoke to someone about it, who told me Kevin would call me back. They never called back.
We called them back Monday and finally got a hold of someone and again reported the issues. The woman sent out one of the men that came for the original job and also someone to pick up the wood. He showed me the issues and where it had been broken. I told him Ok, and that I’d show my husband. He got home and called the company back again about the mailbox… she gave him an e-​mail address and asked for pictures of the damage. He sent the pictures immediately, and never got a response. It’s now Thursday and he just got a reply from the company. They say they will NOT pay for the damages they acknowledge they caused.
This is probably the dumbest move I’ve ever seen a company make. Kevin knew 100% that we were going to be calling them back to do at least another $ 5000 worth of work in the future. He had our business without a doubt and we were even sharing his number with everyone in our neighborhood who showed interest in tree removal.
We could look past the lack of the professionalism of the crew, but the fact that they damaged personal property and refuse to pay for damages is enough for us to see what a shady company this is. We already had a limited budget, as Kevin knew, so replacing the entire mailbox (post and box) was most definitely not something we planned for! We currently have NO box now.
Don’t give these people your business. They will promise to cover anything they break, and then will ignore your phone calls and emails and then deny covering anything.
No wonder he was so cheap– he told us that he was giving us a deal because «business was slow…» — business isn’t slow, people just would rather deal with a professional HONEST company.

As my wife described it «they were a machine». First, they followed through with their appointment for an estimate, big plus in my book! Fair agreed upon price.
The team showed up and like a well oiled machine they went at it and before you can say «Bob’s your uncle» they were packing up, the yard looked better than when they started :-) Highly recommended.

We received the best quote from this company when shopping for someone to remove an enormous and dangerous gum tree from our back yard, as well as two stumps ground in the front yard. They were extremely professional, finished the job in less than a day, and cleaned up after themselves. After realizing that there was still some of the stump left under the ground up mulch, we called the company and they returned to finish the job with no complaints and at no charge to us. I appreciated the fact that they didn’t take it personally. It really showed professionalism and pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have trees removed or stumps ground.
