Starbucks

This location is very slow. You sit in the drive-​thru for a long period of time. You sit inside waiting for your drink forever. There is no sense of getting the customer in and out. They never apologize for the length of time it takes for them to give you your order. They take a long time to recognize a customer is waiting to place and order in the drive thru. This Starbucks had the worse customer service!!! Will not be returning to this one ever again.

If you want exemplary service this Starbucks is the place to go!!! Customer Service is Awesome!!! By far the BEST Starbucks in Va Beach :)

The location is just past Wendy’s and across from Havana & Citgo. Also a fellow helper posted a pic of the Great Neck Square shopping center sign that I found very helpful!
This is the largest, most spacious location I have visited locally. I really like the dark wood furniture, the drive thru, the fact that the pre-​packaged food items are on refrigerated shelving like a bookshelf.
Great place for reading, solo study, bringing a study group! An abundance of outlets line the walls.
The cashier was like every cashier I have ever come across in Starbucks. Friendly. Helpful. Accommodating. Ready to answer questions and give suggestions. Did not get frustrated with my indecisiveness.

I like this Starbucks a lot. It has a very chill atmosphere good for catching up with friends or working. I love that they have a drive through and great outdoor seating. The staff is pretty courteous and polite unless they are slammed then it seems like your just getting pushed though as quickly as possible. I try to get here early in the morning to avoid the lines and traffic.

This Starbucks typically has the items that I want, where as the other Starbucks are often out of things. Levi at the drive-​through was so nice! Thanks for being a great Starbucks, Greatneck!!!

Bad service yet again! Lost my order and no attempt to quickly remedy! Oh… we must have lost your sticker!. I would be more sensitive is they were really busy and this was not a repeated issue

Talk about a hip new Starbucks, this one has it going on. It most likely is the newest store in Virginia Beach and I love the floor plan. It’s a unique store that has items of coffee etc. not found in others. They also offer some unique services too!
Although the location is excellent, if you traveling South on Great Neck you will need to pull a U-​Turn to get in. Or, a left turn on Mill Dam Rd. then immediate left behind Wendy’s works too!
On every occasion I have visited the lot and sidewalks were tidy. I have never experienced an issue with parking, but there is not a lot of it. If the place was full there could be an issue. However, there is additional parking in a nearby strip.
The floor plan is what I get excited about. It’s completely fresh and open. Check out some pics I took to get a better idea. There is tons of seating too! Don’t miss the large outdoor patio that is directly in front.
Refrigerated items that have sandwiches and other items is expansive, the most I’ve seen. A Clover Machine can crank four special brews is unique. This is something that sets this Starbucks apart from others.
Service on most visits have been solid. Cleanliness has usually been above par. At times when busy there have been dirty tables, but it’s rare. The coffee has been at, or just above par.
Hit them up and enjoy a fresh new floor plan with a delicious cup.

The original Starbucks Reserve location in Virginia Beach. Amazing service and the barista was very knowledgeable. On point coffee tasting notes for all their reserve coffees. This is a must for Reserve locations. Everyone was friendly and there was plenty of room to set up a laptop. Outdoor seating is nice too, but it is winter so I didn’t partake.

Love the new location. I can walk there! Fast service. Clean. Only a few comfy chairs but lots of room for a group. If it’s warm outside they have a patio with about five tables.

This is a reserve location, the only one of its kind in Virginia Beach. They have all the rare exciting starbucks coffees that the other locations don’t have and they make them on a clover machine. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into brewed coffee. Super huge café also, perfect for spending a few hours in with a friend, doing homework, or relaxing.

Second time here. Still decent service but could be a bit faster. Definitely a good location and along my route.

How did this slip past my radar? Maybe I’ve been spending too much time out of town lately. In any case, there it was, a nice shiny new Starbucks ready to serve up some liquid caffeine to soothe my savage Sunday Afternoon Beast. This was my second Starbucks stop of the day, the first being in Ghent.
Wow, does this review seem rambly to you too? Let’s get some facts out…
The inside seating area is open, inviting, and large! Plenty of Comfy Chairs, plenty of tables. Plenty of places to hook up the MacBook Pro and attempt to do actual work.
That actual work is facilitated by the Free Google Provided WiFi!
There is an outside seating area with a view of Great Neck Road and the cars going through the Drive Thru. Okay, not so much Yay here, but at least there are outside chairs.
It is too early to tell if this is going to hit my local Starbucks rotation or not. The location isn’t the greatest unless you are heading north on Great Neck. To approach from the north, you have to make a U-​turn at the light.
The staff seems friendly enough, but they haven’t had time to get that Starbucks Service Flair under their collective belt yet. GIve it time, I’m sure it will happen.
So yea, another Starbucks option. Who knew?
