This location has the best barista in the area hands down. Scott goes above and beyond to be helpful, kind and courteous which is rare these days.

I decided to hang out while my boyfriend was working next door. The fireplace reminded me of Tennessee; It was nice to sit by during this unbearably cold weather as of late. The staff was warm and friendly. There are plenty of power outlets in the front for those with laptops. The one gotcha was that the floor was noticeably dirty under all the chairs like the floors haven’t been cleaned in months.

So this is currently my favorite location. I never intended to become a regular, certainly not a recognized one. They don’t «know me» here. But I like coming here. The staff are friendly, kind, accommodating. Patient. Don’t make me feel stupid because of my inquisitiveness. Have great attitudes. Recently I came in here two days in a row and I appreciated the the barista remembered me and my order form the previous day and greeted me accordingly. Likely the time spent there due to my indecisiveness made me memorable. All of my experience here have been good and I look forward to more visits.

Have you ever laid in bed late at night playing around on your phone? Then while laying in your bed you decide to open The Chive app? Then all of a sudden you’re looking at albums and albums of yoga pants? Yeah, that has NEVER happened to me. But from what I’m told, hanging out at this Starbucks is like swiping through The Chive app looking at yoga pants albums. So I’m told.
Oh and their pumpkin flavored frappucino is delicious.

This is one of the nicest Starbucks in the area. It has a fireplace for god sakes. Great location if you’re shopping and need a quenched thirst!

This Starbucks is probably the fanciest, coziest, and the most home-​like one that I have ever been to!
I was in the area with a girlfriend of mine and of course « Unilocaled» where the closest Starbucks was to us at the time (after lunch.)
Staff was nice and efficient. This one is more roomy, has plenty of seating too. I would definitely come to this one again if in the area!

The staff was very friendly and quick. The store needed some cleaning, trash cans full/​over flowing, tables stacked with dirty dishes/​trash and the bathroom… I think I will hold it a little longer.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks regularly since I moved here 3 ½ years ago. Even when I didn’t live right by it I would go out of my way to come to the hilltop location, grab my drink and hang out and work on some things for work. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable. I never see them standing around, they are always cleaning, stocking, taking orders, etc. Anytime I go to a different Starbucks my drink always gets messed up or they forget it entirely. This is by far the best one I’ve been to in Virginia Beach!

I like the crowd that hangs out here, the only downside is it’s in a giant parking lot which can get crowded.

We stopped in this store Sunday afternoon and it was crazy crowded. Fortunately there is ample outside seating and it was being well used. Of course as usual a lot of folks were just using the free wifi on their laptops. We still got very quick sevice. They were well staffed to handle the crowd. I had my first pumpkin spice latte of the fall season. My hats off to the barista who was working very hard to keep drinks coming. She was very good at her craft.

Nicely laid out Starbucks in a shopping plaza, so there isn’t a drive through. This is the sort of «neighborhood» coffee shop where I would like to hang out. Plenty of seating in different formats — stuffed armchairs, tables, up at the bar and a couple tables out front. Plentiful power outlets. And yes, a working fireplace (though it wasn’t operating in July!).
Once you get past that uniqueness, it’s the same Starbucks format. Coolers of drinks and pastries and a smiling friendly barista who is more than happy to prepare your dose of caffeine hot or cold. And of course, free wifi.

This is my Starbucks of choice in the area. Not only because it’s conveniently located near my home, but also because it has plenty of seating (both inside and out) with many outlets. Of course the coffee is the usual Starbucks grade, and the staff here are very outgoing and friendly. But above all, I come here when I need to get out of the house to buckle down on some work. For some reason I’ve found it to be the perfect sanctuary for emails and inspiration.

Ok so I only go to Starbuck’s every now and then but this one is definitely one of the best. When you walk in you feel like you can sit in here for hours. There are comfortable sofas, lots of tables and chair, and some nice comfy chairs. There is even a fireplace in the middle. The staff is nice. This is my Starbuck’s when I do want a sugary coffee and some free internet.

I stopped by on a sweltering Friday afternoon to pick up 12 tall frappuccinos, of various flavors. While I’ve done this before and received slight glances of annoyance, either by the staff or the unlucky patrons behind myself, the staff at this location responded enthusiastically.
Since I am a self proclaimed expert at carrying all 12 frozen beverages in one load, I can appreciate the attention to detail at how each to-​go beverage carrier was stacked and placed in a large shopping bag with the greatest care. Plenty of straws and napkins were neatly arranged in the bag — I don’t think I could have done a better job myself.
Mad props to the girls who helped me out last week!
