Very friendly service and far enough away from the oceanfront to avoid the touristy crowds. Food was fantastic from the wings to the cajun ribeye. A nice cut, good cook, and seasoned nicely. Great beer selection. Could come back several times on a trip with many different options. Band was setting up as we were leaving on a Thursday night so it appears they have live music from time to time. Nice outdoor seating options too.

Good craft beer and excellent food in one place. Add that to a personable staff and nice versatile décor including a smoking patio and you have my favorite place to dine any day of the week.

Nice service. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was good. I thought the prices were decent as well. I’d return and give them another shot… or two, if ya know what I mean.

Just walked out! We wanted to sit at the bar, which was empty. We chose a high top table… The hostess came over with menus stating with an attitude that this wasn’t the bar. Then proceeded to totally talk about us to the waitress, like we did something wrong. We left and won’t go back. Place seemed cool, but kind of dirty and smells like cigarettes. Staff needs customer service training.

Military Mondays 50% Off, thank you, appreciate any military discount. However, the incredible disrespect from the owner after a complaint due to 45 – 50 minute wait for 2 members of our party food to arrive, was absolutely unprofessional. Her unprofessionalism has totally discouraged me from ever returning. All 9 of us were absolutely in awe of what was occurring. Owner statement to us: «you need to have some patience» No apology for the food being late was ever given to us. Food: 5 stars Waiter: 5 stars Overall: 2 stars(Owner needs to get some professional training on her people skills.)

Very nice staff but the smell Of cigarette smoke is overwhelming throughout the entire restaurant. Had mozzarella appetizer and sandwiches which were good but would never return due to the smell.

We ate there last night for the first time. I found this place on Unilocal and it was a 4⁄5 so we booked it. We had a large party, 12 people, so this was a good test to see just how good this place really was. From the minute we sat down until we left, it was an excellent experience! Our waiter was Jeremy and he was awesome! The drinks flowed freely, food orders were taken in a timely manner and everyone’s food arrived just as ordered. All 12 of us were very happy with our food, appetizers and entrees. Overall, a big thumbs up for Tapped Gastropub! Recommend the fish tacos, kobe sliders, just about everything. .you won’t be disappointed!

Can’t rate this place on it’s beer or food. While the hostess was very nice and the place seemed cool enough, we couldn’t stay bc of the steady cloud of cigarette smoke coming in through the«smoking section» outside. They might as well just let people smoke inside bc it already smells like they are. My boyfriend was very disappointed, as he was looking forward to trying Tapped. We opted for Ynot Pizza and The Walking Dead, instead. I would recommend banning smoking all together or get a better air filter so your restaurant doesn’t smell like an ashtray. Gross!

Really cool place — I give it 3.75 stars. Tapped Gastropub is in Hilltop; it’s a few steps away from Taste & Roast Rider Coffee + Tea. When you enter, you’ll notice(in the evening) that the place is dimly lit & to your left are regular chairs & tables, and to your right is the bar area with 4 high top chairs & tables. These are different though; they are«Draft Tables» and you can pour your own beer from the taps in the middle!(See my pictures.) None of us did this but I’m assuming it’s charged by the ounce, and there is a digital type of tracker attached to it. There appeared to be 2 different beers available at each of these tables. The two items that we sampled were really good — Pineapple BBQ wings & fries. I had a Midouri sour & my bf had«Dragon’s Milk.» He loved it! And any beer drinker would love this place — there’s an overwhelming amount of beers to choose from on the drink menu. There was even a band playing. Oh & there is also a smoking area, which you don’t see often anymore these days. Cool spot. I would come back!

Two stars are initially awarded because service was extremely slow. Was this wait staff or kitchen? I don’t know. Saturday afternoon patronage was light so no reason for kitchen to be backed up. Food was good. I had the Pita Cheese Steak and enjoyed it very much. My wife and Mother in Law apparently liked their food as well. My son’s hamburger looked like it was a frozen patty that was cooked over an open flame and looked dried out. 2 of my children ordered a scoop of ice cream for dessert and took some time to come out. Bottom line… Should you not be in a hurry this place is for you. The beer selection could be broader but it is more than most places that are described as a Gastropub.

We stopped in on this place on the way from the bowling alley, why not get more beer?! When we walked in, we decided to sit at one of the«Tap Tables»(that’s what I’m going to call it), where we had two beer to choose from and pour our own beers. The server was pleasant, and took our orders, a friend of mine ordered the Calamari, another friend ordered the Cheese Sticks. The Calamari wasn’t overly seasoned, and nice and crispy. I love the extensive list of beer they have, and the the atmosphere is great, very laid back. Then, to ruin all diets, we ordered Dessert for the table, Triple Chocolate Cake, that’s accompanied with a Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry. It was ridiculously delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try some new beers.

The Roasted Tomato Pesto Salmon is phenomenal. Service was great. I had the salmon and my friend had the Hawaiian chicken. Both were very good but she said we need to come back so that she can order the salmon. The service was excellent and the server offered very good beer suggestions. $ 8.00 flights is also a plus.

Tapped is a lot of fun and the food is really good too! We come here regularly for work meetings as it is quiet enough to get work done, have great service and have good food in a central location. Lately I have been going for Happy Hour and I really like their specials and the rotation of beers. I don’t know much about beers but they do, and it is fun to learn a bit while you are with your friends. Plus they have the coolest round tables with the beer draft pulls ONTHEM! I seriously can’t get over it. I’ve had just about everything on the menu — my favs are the tuna salad, lobster dip and the wings. The tuna sliders were also great and so are the fries. As in really really good fries.

Had huge hopes for this and thought I’d even read there were food specials after 9(happened to arrive at 9). First, the place was pretty dead on a Wednesday, and it’s in a suburban-like mall setting. Secondly, it stunk of smoke from the minute I walked in. Not sure why or how that is. HOWEVER…the bartender was very nice, explained there was a «50% reduction on wine bottles and craft beer» and the food was truly good — I ordered a Bison burger and it was delicious(what the heck did they put in there?!) and the fries were big, thick and well-cooked. Honestly, the meal was really basic but very much better than any burger I’ve eaten in years. I didn’t use the taps; I thought actually that it didn’t look at all that good to sit at those round tables where the center is a bunch of taps. But could definitely see how that could be cool with a group of people!

I am sure the beer is spectacular, the beers I had were pretty good and of high quality. So why only three stars, well the vibe to me was not great when I went there. For one on a late Friday afternoon, it was dead, two the bar tender, while outwardly polite, gave a vibe I know more about beer than you do, so therefore I am a better human being. Might have been me, but compared to young veterans brewing company, where the bartenders, who knows much more about beer than I do, but genuinely loves to share that knowledge. The place is nice, has a pay per pull taps at each table and a great selection of beers at hilltop prices(read expensive). Did not sample the food, but to stay competitive in the area, must be good. But for me will stick strictly local with young veterans brewing company.

My husband got a gift certificate for this place and we decided to give it a try. I walked in and had low expectations. I could smell cigarette smoke(they have an outdoor smoking section) and it did not look like it would be a great place from first glance. I was wrong! First off, we loved our waiter Adam! he had an awesome personality and gave us excellent service! After reading Xerxes review I decided to try what he ordered. I had the avocado swiss turkey burger on a pretzel bun. It was excellent! My husband took the waiter’s advice and went with the buffalo burger. It was juicy, and tender with a little kick. The fries were cooked perfectly and the asparagus was delicious as well. We both enjoyed our meals very much. We tried a few different beers because on Tuesday’s ALL beers on tap were only $ 2.50!!! My favorite was the Dogfish Head Burton Baton. Delicious! After our meal we shared a porter recommended by Adam and it tasted like a rich tootsie roll. It was actually very good. We were stuffed but still had a little bit left on our gift card. So, my hubby got a dessert to go. He chose the peanut butter chocolate bread pudding. I tried a bite of it later and man was it good!!! Mondays they offer 50% off to military! Look forward to returning here.

I ordered a turkey burger and an apple pie for dessert. The burger was great. Very juicy. They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked though. The pricing is an issue. I can get the same quality food cheaper at other places. But 12 $ for a burger isn’t terrible. The place is nice. Has great outdoor covered seating. Not fancy but still a somewhat classy establishment. The waitress visited frequently to refill our drinks but wasn’t very friendly. Rather quiet. The food came out on time. Overall, it is a nice restaurant with great food and good staff. The only downside is the price. Ultimately, I’d recommend coming here if you are in the area but I will NOT be back due to the fact that this location is a couple hundred miles away from where I live

Looking for some good nibbles with a long list of beer choices try Tapped. Great appetizers(loved the calamari) and must try the sweet potato fries. Friendly staff and nice outdoor sitting just makes you want to settle in with some friends and some brews.
