Does my Midwestern heart good to see a Taco Johns in Virginia — and just a few miles from the beach to boot. Tastes like the Midwestern version. Now open up in No Va!

Not sure why this had bad reviews! I loved it!
I hate the potatoes olé which was essentially potatoes in the form of nachos. It was very tasty and I love they can sub beans for meat for vegetarians like myself.
Husband had the buffalo burrito which he enjoyed but he liked mine more.
For a quick stop while shopping this is sure to be my first choice. Absolutely a step up from Taco Bell.

First time and only my daughter was getting a meal. This business is in the new food court.
The young lady at cash register was nice and smiled. No issues at cash register and order came out very quickly when numbered called.
The counter area was clean. The seating is grouped together like any other food court. The mall is responsible for this area and it was clean.
My daughter enjoyed her kids meal, especially the potatoes. I tried the potatoes too and must say they were tasty. For a first visit A-​OK.

Equal or less quality of Taco Bell, double the cost. Glad I got it out of the way. Service was decent although I noticed that there was a promotion for Thursday after I put my order in. Cashier did not promote or attempt to redo the transaction so I could get that after mentioning it.

Wanted something light and got the taco salad. First they got my order wrong and when I got the right thing the taco bowl was extra crispy. There were maybe 4 chicken strips and a whole mound of lettuce with a few tomatoes. Nothing spectacular and very disappointed.

I had heard extremely good things about this place from people around school so I figured I should try it myself. The food was pretty good, the potato oles were delicious however after I ate here my stomach hurt for the rest of the night. The food was average, nothing to go crazy over so I don’t think I will be eating here again.
